Reviews for Oakley B&B

Review 1:very small room, not enough room for cases etc. Breakfast not included, as soon as we were in we had to decide if we wanted it and then exactly what we would have and a certain time.

Review 2:Breakfast was good. comfortable. quiet room.

Review 3:The proprietor was so kind. We came very late and she held our room for us, even though many had asked her for it. The room was very, very comfortable for 4 people.

Review 4:Small, dark room. Had to pay cash. Value for the money was not good considering the location (small town, not a tourist location).

Review 5:Quiet location (on a side street).

Review 6:nice welcome, recommendations for restaurants, great place for trips to Cliffs of Moher or The Burren, Ennis is a nice town with great pubs and Irish Folk Music

Review 7:I had a wonderful stay at Oakley B&B. Eileen, Pat, and Muriel were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. The family also gave me great recommendations about trips to take in the area and facilitated booking activities. I would highly recommend staying here!

Review 8:I wanted to change my plans and only stay for one day. The host was not accommodating and I would have lost money even though I had not paid. She also would not accept credit cards.

Review 9:would be fine for a travelling salesman who just wants a bed for the night, but I found the room small after others I have stayed in and way over-priced for what was offered.

Review 10:It was on direct route to Doolin, Cliffs of Moher and The Burrens.

Review 11:We had a big race the next day so were after a comfortable, clean place for a good night's sleep - the place was perfect. We didn't stay for breakfast as we were leaving too early, but there's a little room to make tea and coffee which was great.

Review 12:The bed was small for two people, but that has not been unusual in Ireland. The common area quite small, but worked ok for us. Good location --- probably 23-30 min. walk to town; we had a car. Happened upon a great musical festival which we enjoyed alot. \

Review 13:I thought that breakfast was included in the price quoted but found out upon arrival that it was extra .This is the only time at multiple B& B that this has happened

Review 14:Good location

Review 15:We had nothing to complain about at all. Though the walls let all sound in during the day, it was very quiet during the night so not an issue.

Review 16:We enjoyed our stay very much. Ennis is a great town and the B&B is a short drive away. The hosts were great and the room had a good sized bathroom, with great shower, the wifi worked well and the bed was comfortable. The separate tea room was handy. Much cheaper and better value than most of the B&Bs on the coast and a short drive away.

Review 17:breakfast was more restrictive, both in terms of time and items, than at most other places, but it was adequate.

Review 18:friendly and very accommodating hosting couple; sun room with tea and cookies, and back garden; excellent shower.

Review 19:Hallway very noisy, every sound echoed. Also bed was a bit too hard for us, so not a comfortable nights sleep, but might not be a problem for others.

Review 20:Very friendly helpful hosts, good sized bathroom, with great shower. Has a separate tea room which was great for the occasional tea or coffee and biscuits. Very clean and tidy room.

Review 21:Eileen and Muriel were our hosts and they were nothing short of fantastic. Both were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Muriel recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner and greeted us for breakfast each morning with a smile and a wonderful sense of humor. We definitely would recommend Oakley B&B to other travelers!

Review 22:The personal is excellent and friendly. The room was beautiful and totally clean. The town was amazing. We could enjoy our best holidays in this places. If your are looking for some places, you have to choose this places.

Review 23:impersonal breakfast time and content pre-booked little choice of breakfast content or time noisy-near communal coffee dock,no door closers,no sitting room payment only in cash,on arrival parking limited no availability of information on area no contact with owner after check-in very small room and miniscule shower room no offer of second pillows, iron, etc. -i.e.once our money paid, no further interest
