Review 9：The hotel location was not very convenient. I think because it wascentered more for the locals than for tourists. There were no mini martsor 7/11 near enough to walk to, and nothing to see outside the hotel (Infact, it was actually scary to go outside). The malls and other placesworth seeing were difficult to get to without getting a cab, which wasitself also difficult to get. The staff apart from the receptionist, donot speak English very well and it was a bit difficult to communicatespecially with special requests like not making our food spicy. Almostall items from the menu were incredibly spicy, and all local dishes withnot much English translation. There was nothing to do around the hotel.There wasn't even a swimming pool. The hot water in the bathroom wasinconsistent at different times of the day. Sometimes it would get superhot and at times not hot at all. There was no window in our room savefor a small opening with a view of a wall, which is mostly meant forairing out the room I guess. Over all, I think this hotel was very muchcatered more for the locals and not for tourists, so we didn't enjoy ourstay much. The only reason we stayed here was for the price and thepossibility of city touring, but not much can be said of the cityanyway. The nearest beach was Trikora in the East which is an hour driveaway, so I would suggest the northern resorts at Lagoi for tourists whocame to Bintan for the beaches.

Review 10：The free service to and from the ferry terminal was a big advantagebecause it was quite difficult (not to mention scary) to get a caboutside the terminal. The room was comfortable enough because of theproper air conditioning and cable tv. The bathroom was spacious, with asizable bath tub and working bidet. The price was reasonably cheap forroom service/food from the restaurant. There was also a complimentarybreakfast every morning.
