Review 1：No bad experiences. Clearly in need of a bit of TLC (outside the room which itself was fine).

Review 2：Economical, conveniently positioned for my purposes (walk to centre of town). Doesn't pretend to be anything other than basic affordable accommodation (the large deluxe room I had was well worth the modest extra price).

Review 5：Curtain didn't cover whole window. Mirror was directly opposite window so room was very bright when the sun came up.

Review 8：Amazing place, great location, one block from main beach, like half a block to the Main Street. Comfy bed, price was awesome, pool was good. However the best thing was arriving early at 12.30 and being able to check into our room( on the 23rd dec), we were happy to do lunch and come back but didn't need to, also the late check out the next day, on Christmas Eve the manager allowed us a late check out at 12pm, which was fantastic, we would happily stay here again.

Review 10：The beach was across the road and the location was safe. Walking distance to food shops and friendly little country town, a longer scenic walk along the beach to Byron Bay.

Review 11：The only thing we were disappointed with was the double bed we slept in. We are fully aware that we paid for a 'budget' room, but didn't really the bed would be so uncomfortable, we did consider speaking to someone, we had sore backs for days. Just an upgrade on a new bed would make a world of difference.

Review 33：We had stayed at Golden Sands for 2 nights just 4 weeks earlier and used the accommodation again. Once more it was clean, quiet, convenient and the hosts were pleasant upon check in.

Review 34：Proximity to all the facilities Forster has to offer as well as the room and surrounds were very clean. We also got a quiet room away from the main street traffic noise.

Review 35：Everything! I returned to the same motel as previously I was very impressed. Friendly staff, room ticked all of the boxes and the restaurant is exceptional. The wi fi is also excellent as I have not found it very good elsewhere.

Review 37：They say if something seems to good to be true it usually is. The golden sands is not one of these times. The price and location of these rooms is Truley amazing and I don't see why I would stay anywhere else

Review 38：Bathroom needs an overhaul. Shower recess not as clean as I would like it. Some mould. Small bedside could not be used as there wasn't an outlet for it. Had to ask Reception for WiFi connection - think this should be supplied when booking in. Supply of ashtrays outside only encouraged smokers. Was lead to believe that it was a non-smoking venue but apparently this only applied within the rooms and the balcony areas!

Review 77：It's a very old, badly maintained property. Our room was filthy - there was dust inches thick on the fans and the room itself felt musty, as for the bathroom - there was a very unpleasant smell. The place was so bad, that we immediately went out and found another place to stay - there was no way we would spend even one night here. The room was $125 per night and compared to the other motels we stayed in during our visit to Australia it was very bad value - the place we moved to was lovely and very very clean - it didn't cost a lot more and we had a fabulous time there. I would never go back and would recommend to other travelers that they have a look around and find a nicer place to stay.

Review 80：Older style hotel and we stayed in the Premium double room for one night. The air conditioner was quite and the room was comfortable and clean and all we needed for one night stay. Not sure how it would fair in the busy season as on the main road but the hotel is in good location and priced correctly for the type of room you would expect.
