Reviews for Potters House
Review 1:Cobwebs and dead insects in some corners. Nowhere mentioned on Booking.com the dirt road to access the property.
Review 2:- Dreamy location and cottage - Plenty of space for four - Local eggs and bread for breakfast were a nice touch - Great shower
Review 3:Oven didn't work properly.
Review 4:Idylic surroundings, lots of wildlife. Peaceful and very quiet. Fireplace and decor were lovely. A real country feel.
Review 5:Some cooking facilities did not work properly e.g. oven, unsharpened knife. But I will come back again with our own knifes!
Review 6:Nature! It was so quiet and clam enough to hear even leaves falling down. Birds singing of course!
Review 7:Nothing.
Review 8:We stayed at Potters House in early November 2014. Such an outstanding property with breathtaking views across the valley! The house is tastefully decorated and we instantly felt at home. We also enjoyed cooking in an old-country style kitchen which was fully equipped. Having a dinner & breakfast surrounded by a sea of birds tweeting sounds and looking at kangaroos hopping in the distance was literally a slice of heaven! Wish we stayed longer and will definitely be back!
Review 9:Could find nothing to adversely comment on
Review 10:The peaceful atmosphere. The Hosts were very approachable whilst leaving you to enjoy the moment. Needed a little extra assistance with a couple of items, nothing to much trouble. Would recommend very strongly. Phill
Review 11:Not much to not like! We had one occasion without water but was quickly resolved with a phone call to the owner.
Review 12:We loved the environment and location. Not far from Sydney but off the beaten track, amongst beautiful wildlife including kangaroos and various stunning birds. We sat outside with a bottle of wine and watched them from a distance. Heaven! The house itself was full of wonderful character and space to spread out. Eco-friendly! Loved the exposed beams and windows!! The bed was so comfy!! The complimentary eggs and sourdough went a long way - thank you so much.
Review 13:We liked everything! Maybe some blinds on the window right next to the bed but otherwise, perfect!!!
Review 14:Loved the location, the privacy and the house. A wonderful place to escape the city but still close enough to do 1 night only.
Review 15:An idyllic escape. It was a wonderful way to spend a weekend in a secluded valley - though close to Blackheath. Extremely peaceful with many native parrots and lorikeets and other birds and wildlife to watch. There was a fire to keep the place cosy and a homely rustic feel - while having everything that you would possibly need. Plenty of space to spread out and settle in. Thoroughly recommended if you would like an escape to the best of the Blue Mountains.
Review 16:Nothing
Review 17:When you think of a cottage it gives you all you can think of - tranquillity, secluded, peaceful, adventurous but homely. Loved the open fire and a local sourdough!
