Review 1：I liked the old reconditionated furniture, however I found there was insufficient storage space for longer stays. I suppose that it might be ok for shorter stays. Breakfast could be improved (the pastries were not a very good quality).

Review 2：The room was very clean and they changed the sheets every day. The breakfast is served in the garden with amazing views to the surroundings. Good food in the restaurant.

Also easy to get to Chianti from this location. Dinner at restaurant was very good too. Thanks very much for a lovely stay! By the way, nice pool too!

Review 8：The cosy venue in a beutyful surrounding. The location is a great base for traveling around Chianti region. The staff is very friendly and you can learn from them interesting strories about history and about the region. The restaurant serves very delicious food and wines from Chianti region. The shop and another restaurant are just few minutes walking down the hill.

Review 11：Location was perfect! Not far from the Autostrada but far enough away from any city life. Gorgeous views from the top of the hill. The free breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious!! Everything was fresh from the garden and homemade that morning. You can reserve a table for dinner if you prefer and try some amazing family Tuscan recipes, we were very impressed with everything we ordered. Staff were so nice and helpful! I can't wait to return with other family members and friends. This is my perfect idea of a peaceful Tuscan getaway!

Review 12：It was difficult to find the hotel after leaving the main federal road (E-35), and it was necessary to stop several times to ask local people where we should go to reach the hotel (the indications for the hotel on the way are poor and should be improved). But the kindness and attention of local people helped a lot.

Review 13：The hotel is located in a beatiful rural area of Toscana, close to some famous wineries such as Montepulciano. The hotel has excellent facilities (considering it is in a rural area), and the staff is very kind and helpful with guests. The breakfast is also excellent, and the rooms are very well decorated with old furniture, with clean clothes for beds and bath.

Review 31：Bad beds, dark rooms with slightly mouldy smell. Beware of the 'pet' dear by the horses. When we went to visit the horses first morning it attacked our 4 year old boy and rammed him 3 times and knocked him to the ground. I (father) had to wrestle the animal away before he was safe. Luckily nothing happened except from the scare but that was just luck. We have told the staff but be carefull.

The staff could be somewhat more involved in suggesting or arranging activities that people can do over there. The place felt more like a hotel than a villa in this respect. Simple activities could be meet/feed the horses.

Review 44：Lovely traditional room (above the entrance) which seemed quite dark when we arrived but in the morning when you opened the shutters the sun beamed directly through. Excellent breakfast. Nicko was very helpful in suggesting a route to make the most of our day. We were disappointed we didn't have time for the pool. The restaurant was about to close when we arrived but the young waiter was very helpful. I would particularly recommend the asparagus rissoto.

We locked our keys in our car and they couldn't have done more to help us out they went above and beyond the call of duty calling friends and neighbours to help us, translating to our rental company on the phone, giving us their number in case we needed any more help later. Review 48：The stay was very very good. I will come back next time with my wife and daughter. You can also have horse riding and there is a swimming pool. The area is very beautiful and very close by you can also do a lot of shopping from famous brand outlet stores.

Review 50：It is an old house. We hoped for a sort of a department and finally we got one room, without a kitchen. The beds were terrible, as we could not sleep a whole night due to back pain. The bath was also a weak point as the stream of the water was weak and the room as a whole should be thoroughly renovated.
