Review 1：The apartment was nice and clean. The view was spectacular. The owner of the hotel proved to be very kind, generous and willing to explain everything.

Review 2：- very difficult to find, Google maps brings you to a totally different place - parking situation is a desaster, steep entry, our car almost didn't male it, and when we got there there wasn't always a parking space - One morning we couldn't drive away because our car was blocked by another car - ants in the kitchen - poor kitchen utensils, no pots, no pans, no trashcan

Review 4：We lived in the big apartment, 100 squares. It was an amazing view with one big terrasse and 2 balcony on the second floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful and if I go back to Lefkada I will stay there again.

Review 8：Very nice, new apartment house with a very good view to the sea and to the Scorpios island. The owners are very kind and helpful people. The road is steep, but we have no problems with it. The room was cleaned on each day. The downtown is 10 minutes walk.

Review 9：very small dbl beds (140cm), can not turn in the shower (40 inch), 10 min walk to the peables beach, tv's 10 inchs (30 years old), steep ramp acces 35% need special tyres/shoes, many steeps and no privacy, mosquito, owner no english, lies about solving complaints, option to change in private house, or to change rooms for every 2-3 days. DO NOT GO THERE.

Review 14：The San Lazzaro apartments are in a stunning location overlooking the bay and with views of the mountains. The rooms were cleaned daily and were of the highest standard we've stayed at in Greece with double glazing, mosquito nets, air con, tv etc. Eirini the owner couldn't have been more helpful during our stay and made it a very memorable holiday for us. I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend the apartments to anyone.

Review 16：the hospitality and comfort. The fact that San Lazaro is close to the beach, restaurants, stores, buses,car renting, etc. From Nydri, nothing is far. The rooms were very clean and well taken care of and Irene is always helpful for all kinds of information. We felt safe there.

Review 19：There´s no privacy, you can hear everyone from each balcony. So the quality of your your stay will be entirely dependant on your neighbours. We could not sleep before 03:00h for the 2 booked nights - first night because of a football match, owner and friends shouted till late at night, second night friends of the owner made noise at their balcony till 03:00h, including shouting children far after midnight. At 06:00h in the morning we woke up because other guests were knocking at 2 doors for about 30 minutes. Property seems to be poorly organized, we were not expected, our room was not ready at 14:30h. Also very annoying: the drive to the porperty - all in all you need a 4-wheel-drive, and when you are finally up you might not find a parking and have no space to move. The parking is in front of the rooms, so you can imagine... Sheets were not ironed at all. Wifi did not work for a long time on the second day.

Review 43：San Lazzaro offers apartments that are fully equiped, small kitchen with all necessary equipment, also, spacious room and excellent, very spacious terrace, with sea views and very private, there are no terraces next to each other. The location of San Lazzaro is excellent, it is very quiet, secluded from the noise of the busy streets of Nidri, but again, close to beach and all the shops! The owner, Mrs. Irini, and her mother were very nice and hospitable and made our stay very pleasant! we really enjoyed it!

Review 49：The biggest problem was location, and we were very disappointed. On booking map it seemed close to the beach, but its high in the hill, and the climb to the apartmans is scary! Specially by car, and parking was often full. Even when we were taking walks in the evening, my wife(27) had to wear slippers so she wouldn't fall cause climb is slippery. In the room we had ants which were very persistent. In the kitchen were no elementary pots or forks and knifes.

Review 50：The room was big, with many windows and mosquito nets. The balcony was separated from the others, and the sound isolation was good. Many rooms could use big terases and tables, so eating outside was plesant. Toalet was clean. Great wiew to Scorpions island!

Review 51：The view from the maisonette we booked is gorgeous. Imagine drinking your coffee on a patio that reaveals the sunset and the sea, with two little islands bathing in the center. It's great. The owners were very nice and attentive, they can offer you good tips for restaurants and beaches. It's very clean and cozy inside, with white linens and turquoise walls. Suitable for families with kids, it's very quiet.The appts are located on an abrupt hill, keep that in mind because there were some cars that could not climb it, also if you have small children.

Review 52：Whats not to like ?? , its not your package deal place , but that is thecharm of it for us, the only drawback that we found was the earlymorning cockrells arguing accross the valley, hey but thats nature and asmall price to pay.

Review 54：San Lazzaro is ideally situated for couples, family, or groups offriends who wish to be located an easy drive from the island's majorcity while also being on the perimeter route to explore the island, andat a port city allowing for a days exploration of another island by car.The hotel is not located as indicated on the map near the port, butcoming south guests should not take the central road into Nydri butfollow the route to the port. Shortly after this right turn, a smallsign on the right points your short but accelerating drive up a paveddriveway. The view and rooms are worth it. They are clean and kept freshwith balconies for each studio or apartment, priced wonderfully, andequipped with the essentials for a comfortable stay. Umbrellas areavailable for your balcony and the cookware is there with additionalavailable upon request. Nydri's beach is a short walk, as is Nydri.The bays immediately to the south provide wonderful beaches andtavernas, and even a late morning start can provide you time toadventure to the outermost, unpopulated beaches of the southwest edge ofthe island and return for a late dinner. To top all this off, the familyrunning the hotel is friendly and welcoming. And the high waterfall andcool canyon on the hottest days are only a few kilometers above SanLazzaro Hotel. Review 58：Great and quiet location, that's within walking distance to Nidri'scenter (10-15 min.) Studio rooms are not that spacious, but the largebalcony makes up for it. A/c worked fine, bathroom was clean, bigger andnicer, than most hotels in this category. This is a family run hotel, sothe atmosphere is quite friendly and laid back. At least one of theowners were always there, and they go to great lenghts to make your staymore pleasant. One thing I like to point out. If you using gps to getyou to the hotel, do not use address on this website, otherwise yougonna end up on a ferry. (Not kidding) Use these coordinance instead n38 43' 02.3" e 20 42' 57.2". Review 59：Bins not emptied at all. Some unfinished cabling in the apartment. Thelocation is not as shown on the map, it takes about 20 mins to walk tothe centre of nidri. Very steep approach road.

Review 64：The lady that is responsable for the apartments is not always present,so if you need something for that moment you will be in troubles. We hadsome small issues with the room, there weren't spons in the kitchnent,the air conditioning command had not batteries. But instead of that, Idon't have anything bad to say!

Review 65：Nidri is a very good place to stay in Lefkada since is in the middle ofthe island and have very nice taverns and bars at night. This hotel isnot near the village center, but it's a 10 minutes walking distance.It's very close to the main road that goes to Lefkada Town or Vassiliki.The studio is very confortable, with a wonderful ocean view and somerooms have nice balconies.

The Fine Print

To access the property, coming into Nidri, follow the road to the right where the sign points to the port. In less than 0,5 km, the driveway for San Lazzaro is marked by a sign. Turn right and in a few feet turn right at a smaller sign. At the end of this short, level road, turn left and accelerate up the 15% grade driveway. This is a short, bold rise to the patio and apartment of San Lazzaro's.
