Reviews for Hotel Aurora
Review 1:Having to leave!!
Review 2:On a previous visit to Castiglione we liked the look of the Aurora so booked there this time. A good decision! The warmth and friendliness of every member of staff (including the boss!) was a delight. Art lovers, we found the simple design of the small seating area in the bar wonderfully calm and relaxing to sit in for a late-night drink. So too, the dining room, with its plain walls and beautiful pictures, helped give us a great start to the day. Both are a credit to Paolo's taste and design sense. The roof terrace was a warm suntrap on days when the wind made the beach too chilly. The location, just a few minutes walk from beach or town centre was ideal - as were the parking facilities just up the road. All in all, a wonderful experience.
Review 3:Breakfast is just ok
Review 4:Location is great: close to the beach and old city, and calm. Good value for money. Staff was helpful, gave us tips about parking, restaurants and things to visit.
Review 5:Thin walls, you can hear the neighbours
Review 6:Friendly and helpful staff
Review 7:Breakfast adequate, but not one you'll tell your grandchildren about! I think the area has a very defined 'season', Jul/Aug, visiting outside of these times, it was all pretty quiet.
Review 8:Very friendly and helpful staff, basic but perfectly okay and clean room. I thought it was good value. Parking is easy opposite/around the hotel. Five minute walk to the town centre. The town itself is small but has some character, okay for a day or two.
Review 9:WiFi connectivity problems in the rooms
Review 10:A professional feel and service, modern hotel rooms, nice breakfast.
Review 11:shocked to be served CANNED green beans one nite!!!!!!
