Review 1：Parts of the hotel are renovated such as lounge and bathrooms but the actual rooms are a bit older and could do with a bit of an update.

Review 2：We arrived quite late after a long day on the road. Staff was extremely helpful accommodating a last minute dinner before kitchen close in the lounge right next to the fireplace (Thank you Olafia!). Very cozy bar and lounge area.

Review 4：Nice hotel, staff, and all facilities. Good hotel if you are looking for that step above the normal European hotel. More attuned to those that want the more U.S. approach to hotels. Personally I prefer the normal Icelandic hotel for my visits. Nothing bad, just not to my taste and preference.

Review 15：The service is just ok. The front desk would not volunteer touristic information unless you ask specific questions. Even the map of the city, you need to ask for them to remember that you are a tourist and you want info on where to go for sightseeing.

Review 16：The hotel is well located with free parking. We stayed one night. The room is clean and very basic. Not necessarily a deluxe hotel but ok for one night stay.

Review 19：There were two twin beds pushed together and if you slept in the middle and moved they pulled apart. I fell to the floor. Breakfast was not included. There was only one person at the desk, and the lady who appeared to be the boss was to busy walking around and looking busy to help customers waiting in line. I would not stay there again. i probably would not stay at an icelandair hotel again after my experience at this hotel.

Review 21：In our opinion, this hotel offers everything that defines a good hotel. Beautiful interior, a wonderful bed and good linen. The bar is fun and nice looking and the nice attitude of the staff makes the atmosphere particularly comfortable.

Reasonable views if you get a room overlooking the hills and lake, other views less appealing - shopping parade and car park. Our room was not ready when we arrived but the hotel managers customer recovery was exceptional. the manager made us comfortable at the bar with a complimentary drink as an apology. Lovely and quiet location. Breakfast was a real feast... So much choice .. Amazing. Compared to the Iceland Air Marina in Reykjavik... This was great value for money and a delight to stay in!,
