Review 1：No central heating! We went in December, and while our room had an open fire, this wasn't quite effective in cutting through the ice cold temperatures! However, staff do offer extra blankets and hot water bottles.

Review 2：The hotel grounds are stunning and if you can a clear day, you get an amazing view of mountains. My partner got a bad case of food poisoning (not from the hotel restaurant!), and all the staff were extremely helpful in trying to make his stay comfortable by offering to make whatever food he liked and giving us extra firewood.

Review 3：there should be facility of international phone call. wifi is not up to the mark. room heating and lighting should be more profound.

Review 5：This hotel is not equipped properly for the winters. The heating provided by a tiny heater was not good enough to bring even a slightest warmth in the room. The staff arranged to lite the fireplace which worked for 2 hours bringing some temporary warmth. No Geysers in the bathroom, as it's provided through central heater which is not available 24 hours when you want. In a hotel like this heating system has to be one of the most important thing, this should not be ignored.

Review 6：Staff was very pleasant and efficient, the location was fantastic, gave a very good view of the mountain. Food was very good. Overall ambience of the place was fantastic a very good value for money.

Review 7：Dinner.. There were not many options for the non-vegetarians. The dinner was mediocre for the price we paid. And there water all over the bathroom after the shower.

Review 9：Cleanliness of rooms need a bit more attention. Loose/broken bathroom fittings should be fixed. Linen/towels supplied were clean but too old and should be replaced. Access to internet is poor and hotel should provide access to Wifi internet in rooms.

Review 10：Location, away from the crowded city-center and next to St.Pauls school, with a clear view of Kanchenjunga mountains from room window. Complementary pickup/drop service was helpful. Mr.Sanjay and Mr.Siddharth were very helpful and organized a memorable Sikkim tour for us. Staff very courteous and food was fabulous.

Review 11：There is a clear differentiation between Indian & Foreign travelers, they are given better rooms and have a separate dinning space. Very smartly they direct people to the left side of the dinning room without really you noticing it. Basically, they do not want Indians to use the same space as foreigners. I think it's better they clearly mark this hotel for 'foreigners' only.

Review 13：Fantastic hotel with breathtaking views on a clear day. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. It was spotlessly clean. The food was very good, just would have appreciated a few more European options. Free wi fi in public areas was much appreciated.

Review 14：Room was a little tight. Beds weren't super comfortable. WiFi didn't work in our room and TV had technical difficulties a few times. Evening manager and/or dining manager did not allow us to eat in the lobby which was difficult because dinner started at 730p and both our kids were sleeping. The monitor didn't reach the dining hall and they wouldn't allow us to sit in the lobby. It was a bit frustrating. Also, there was a party that was loud and disturbing us and the children until 1a. When we called the front desk to ask them to ask the guests to be a little quieter they told us the people partying were guests too and so they couldn't stop them. On second call, they spoke to the guests and the guests went inside.

Review 19：Cedar Inn is a lovely wood decored hotel perched on the hills overlooking the town of darjeeling, with a lofty view of the snow capped mountains out in the thin air. The mansions have a kind of rustic but noble personality, with airy court yards and interior spaces neatly tucked against each other. The staff are very friendly and approachable, ready to be at service, making our winter stay an exceptionally warm, cozy experience. Food is exemplary of the local flavors and better than most restaurants around town. The rooms are very comfortable, with balconies, crackling fire place, all the trappings of quiet serenity ideal for couples.
