Review 1：Location was perfect, right on the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants. Entire place was spotless and staff were very warm and welcoming. Would go back for sure!
Review 2：The room's general conditions, the furniture and the equipment in the bathroom was very old. The breakfast was not good enough. Plastic chairs in the garden was destroying the natural advantages of the hotel.

Review 4：Not really a serious noise gripe but the manager's moped does seem to come and go rather a lot starting at 6am and finishing late, so could be a bit more peaceful if he used a pushbike!

Review 15：Power kept shutting on/off during the day & night which was very annoying. Was asked to pay €2.50 for the use of sun beds on the beach despite being hotel guests & after initially being told by management on arrival about the use of sun beds ( no fee was mentioned at all ).

Review 17：The location is great as it is only a short walk into the centre of Nydri. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean with good cupboard and drawer space as well as the convenience of a small fridge to keep refreshments cool.

Review 22：It is NOT true that "Avra Beach offers comfortable accommodation" - in fact the rooms are simple and not COMFORTABLE at all - including bad WLAN and TV. It is also NOT true, that the Hotel is QUIET, because almost all rooms - like ours - face the parking lot with cars, scooters and people coming and going till late at night. On the balcony we felt like in a bird Cage, cause there are no blinds to the other balconies so that your neighbours can see you all time... On the one side the Hotel calls itself a "BEACH Hotel", but you don't get any beach towels and you have to pay extra for the sunbeds, even if you eat at their taverna - what we NEVER had before in Greece. We were there during high season 2014 and were really shocked about all the loud boats, dozens of people selling chinese massages and stuff at the beach, so that there was no quietness at all... All that was in sharp contrast to the positive comments here. Several people have told us that Nydri had changed a lot in the last years. Unfortunately it is now one more center of world wide mass tourism and not one of the nice and charming little greek cities we like.

Review 26：Would not provide a beach towel (hotel right in front of beach???) and for people who travel from the other side of the world, a beach towel is not something one may pack and if you do buy one, you obviously need to wash it before use and a laundry service may not be an option right away. When i decided to take my bath towel the next day, they didn't provide me with a new one.

Review 43：The hotel is close to a fairly lively resort but set back from the road and far enough away to be peaceful. The taverna in the grounds is excellent with a wonderful waiter named Nikos. The access to the beach and taverna were excellent, even for someone with limited sight. We hope to return in the near future.

The Hotel offers a good beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, bar in few steps... restaurant excellent quality of food and of the staff (the best mousaka of the island). The distance from the center of Nidri is enough to have a quite and relaxing stay, but you can be in the center and the port walking 3 minutes (200mt). Rooms and towels are clean..... price/stay very good.
Review 45：Amazing setting right on the beach with a grassy lawn. Quietest beach of Nydri. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room had a kitchenette which hadn't been advertised on the website. Also there was free use of a computer. Large supermarket, other shops and the bus stop were almost opposite the hotel entrance. Easy walk to the harbour for cruises around nearby islands
