Review 1：Staff. Sunny balcony. Comfort - hot water; hot water bottle each night. Lots of steps to keep you fit!

Review 2：Very noisy and cold. Paper thin walls and windows. Things start up in that area between 4:00 and 5:00 am so you will be woken up. No top sheet so sleeping under a blanket that who knows how many others have??

Review 4：Hotel Broadway delivers exactly what it promises. It is a budget hotel in an often expensive area. It is clean, convenient, comfortable, and good value.

Review 5：the hot water is only enough for 3 mins shower max, longer than that you have to shower with icy cold water. i was half way washing hair and the hot water become icy cold water suddenly. after 30mins wait in wet, the hot water available only for 2 min.it was so cold during winter and this is how the hot water system greeted us.the staffs are not helpful,only help you carry your bag during arrival for tips,when we about to leave,he just look at us without ever wanted to help carry our bag down that steep staircase. and i booked 3 nights room here,for the 1st night our train was 12 hrs delayed so we arrived about 11.30pm.The hotel was closed and our room was not really ready.we have to wake them up from sleep and we were simply assigned a room and was asked to change the next day. i thought this is an advance booking and they should b aware for the arrival of their guests no matter what time. and they should also aware that customer may often arrive late due to train/flight delay in winter.but they were like never bother if you arrive or not. i think they like it if you not arrive and they still can claim their money from booking.com after charging our credit card. and the blanket was not thick enough for winter. i really think this hotel doesn't worth the price i paid.

Review 7：The room was cosy and clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is located on a side street so was quiet at night yet it was still very central.

Review 8：Very noisy in weekends. The hotel management gives priority to partying Bengali's in the weekends, and even suggested me to leave the hotel at 20.45 when most places close in Darjeeling.

Review 11：Location/stay/management/behavior/total building furnishing was fine. No problem at all. The old person will be feel little problems due to staircase. Overall good.

Review 12：Room was wet, smells moldy and after cat. Heater cost 400 per night. Many stairs. 'Blanket' without linen. No WiFi in the room, only in the 'lobby'.

Review 14：There was a leak coming from my bathroom which did make the room smell a little damp. Also they were renovating their restaurant which made having a siesta almost impossible.

Review 15：For me the location was great, just a little out the way of all the hustle and bustle, but not too far to be able to walk to wherever I needed to go. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and always on hand.

Review 30：i booked a room with a balcony which was not available on the first day. it seems that all the online bookings are booked with balcony but in reality you only get the balcony if available. so i had to change room after a day and got a small reduction after insisting. doors and windows dont close as well as they should at these temperatures. the outside temperature was quiet cold (ca 16 deg at day, around 5 deg at night). since there is no heating in the hotel it got very cold in the room specially at night. heaters (a small thing which blows a bit of warm air) are available after insisting for inr 300 for 12 hours (only at night). they came and woke me up at 8 am to get the heater back!!! since it was cold outside, the restaurants are not having heatings it was very new for me to come to a cold room as well and have no warm spot in the whole village. coming from a cold country myself i know that low outside temperatures dont mean constant freezing where ever you are.

Review 31：i stayed 2 nights in broadway in november 2013. the rooms are big, some of them with wooden interior but quiet dark and furnished with old furniture. staff was friendly and understanding when i stayed 2 instead of 4 nights.

Review 32：Steep climb to hotel from taxi drop-off and then 70 steps from front of hotel to room (no lift), office staff lacked inter-personal skills and demanded H&S pics (no other hotel did so). Long wait for room service meals. Hot water only two hours a day.
