Featuring bed and breakfast suites with free WiFi, Lanterns Retreats is situated in the heart of old Dunsborough, within 10 minutes' walk of beautiful beaches, coastal walks, cafes and galleries. Cooked and continental gourmet breakfast is provided each morning.
You can relax in the guest lounge, which offers free port wine and chocolates, and a log fireplace during winter months. Communal BBQ facilities and free on-site parking are also provided.
All suites include either a balcony or patio offering lush garden views. Downstairs suites feature French doors opening onto an outdoor seating area. Fresh flowers and chocolates are provided in-room.
Each of the spacious, air-conditioned suites offers a microwave, a minibar, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. All include a large bathroom with bathrobes, a hairdryer and quality toiletries. Some also boast a spa bath.
Located within the Margaret River wine region, Lanterns Retreats is 5 minutes' walk from Geographe Bay. It is a 5 minutes' drive from Ngilgi Caves and 10 minutes' from the Naturaliste Lighthouse. Whale watching at Dunn Bay is possible during the September-November period.
The region offers a variety of art galleries, wineries and recreation options. In the surrounding areas you can enjoy kayaking, diving, snorkeling, sky diving, mountain biking and scenic walks.

Review 1：Everything was great. Even though Dunsborough was very busy, it was peaceful at lanterns.

Review 2：Our room and bathroom were huge and very well appointed. We were right next to the pool. Books, videos,, chocolates and port made us very comfortable. Breakfast was top class. Highly recommended.

Review 6：This was our second stay at Lanterns Retreat and we will not hesitate to return in the future. Serge and Sally went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are comfortable, the home made breakfast was always good and served with a smile.

Review 8：From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen well. We had booked the "Standard Room", but there was nothing standard about this room at all. The room was very large-patio door to the veranda and a huge bathroom with a walk in shower and a separate big bath. The welcome from Serge and Sally was wonderful and the breakfasts were just yummy!!! Complimentary port and choccies at night was a lovely touch. If we are ever back in WA again, will definitely go back.

Review 9：Sally and Serge were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. They went above what was expected with books, chocolates and port available. The standard of service and the quality of the accommodation was fantastic. Will visit again.

Review 10：Serge and Sally have put in a lot of thought in to what comforts guests might enjoy from help-yourself port and chocolates to a deck of cards in your room. We wanted a relaxing, restful weekend and we certainly got it.

Review 18：We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The King room we stayed in was just amazing.. stylishly decorated.. with all the requirements for a fantastic get away. Also beautiful gardens and surrounds. Sally and Surge were wonderful hosts. Looking forward to staying there again.

Review 32：Wonderful hospitality and a beautiful room with every thing you need. Blissfully quiet and so relaxing. Breakfast is a treat, the gluten free muesli is good enough to eat for breakfast lunch and tea. Try it even if you are not gluten free, its divine. A perfect stay, and Miss Abby is as cute as a button.

This is a B'n'B with European flair, very hard to find this quality of service elsewhere. The brekkies are to wake up for!!! Great location, very close to town and safe swimming beaches.

Review 35：This place is practically perfect. We arrived mid-afternoon and settled in before heading off for a swim up the coast. After a walk around the lighthouse we headed back for drinks on our private terrace followed by dinner in town. A perfect night's sleep, a walk on the beach and then back for breakfast and I have to say it was probably the best breakafast I have ever had, and "en plus" cooked by Serge. A perfect start to our Australian holiday.
