Review 1：I found the bar staff not only to be rude but on my last day of 3, one of the staff told me there was a 20% discount for hotel guests when everyone in the bar (excluding her, she was absent the other days) knew I was a guest at the hotel...I'm not too concerned about the discount but after my bad experience with the bar and staff it didn't make me happy, as well at night I was barely given a a bill to write off and when I asked they called me a liar...but aside from that the staff and spa were fantastic!

Review 2：I enjoyed everything including the spa and the staff was very helpful and polite. Although they forgot my wake up call...I still made my flight:)

Review 3：Bathroom is very tiny, and the water overflew. It smelled something bad in the room. It is a little bit far from the center of city, but it was good walk for me.

Review 4：Staff at lobbie is available 24hours so that too late chec-in and very early check-out due to the flight schedule were well. And staff in bar are very friendly and nice.

Review 5：It seems to be a trend now that Italian hotels host parties with loud music any day of the week. Apparently they do not realise that most of their income come from business travellers who want to rest.

Review 26：Based here for trips into Rome - the train timetable is the only slight downside; they run (at best) once an hour and only until around 8pm. Taxi into Rome was around 40 euros. Bed slightly hard. Would still highly recommend as the hotel and surrounding area provided a wonderfully relaxing contrast to busy Rome!

Review 35：this is not 4 stars, in no way! 3, and only because of the pool. A very popular hotel among the youngsters, and that why very noisy with crazy music in the evening. As arrived, we immediately went away for late dining. The restaurant is just a canteen, the rooms are standard but not clean enough. However bathrooms were just renovated, and maybe the rooms will be done as well?

Review 36：My grandson liked swimming pool, we liked the location and possibility to reach all destinations around Rome easily and without traffic jams.

Review 37：Even the hotel is on the main road and is only 800 m from the city center, consider 800 m of climbing stаirs and acclivity. With 30 degrees hot it's not comfortable walk. The train station is also up and shuttle bus of the hotel is available only by prior reservation and within 8 PM. After that you will need taxi or strong foot. There is very popular coffee bar in the location. And it's a little bit messy. Many cars and people around in the evenings, very noisy and loud music until 12 PM. If you need to go to bad earlier or are just tires after day on walking around Rome could be disturbing. Breakfast is very Italian - many sweets, not enough healthy food and salty.

Review 50：The refurbished hotel is a fresh welcome. The location is very strategic for me business-wise as I avoid all the traffic coming down from Frascati. The bar and restaurant are very well equipped and always have plenty of good food.

I did not realise whether there were ventilators in the bathroom. hotel events should be hosted far from the rooms and should stop by the time people go to sleep.

Review 53：I stay at Ville Mercede at least 2-3 times a year, the staff are very helpful and wecoming, a great place to stay if you are visiting Rome, the trains take about 30 mins, run on time and the prices very reasonable The hotel has a mini bus that runs into the centre of Frascati which is very useful, Frascati itself is lovely town full of great places to eat and drink

Review 54：Even though we had a clean nonsmoking room, hallways filled with smoke smell. No A/C, converted to heat last week and was told to open window for cool air. No way to call front desk. No markings on phone or any where in the room telling you what to dial. Had to get dressed and go to reception desk for help with a/c. Room very small, feels like you are in a cruise :(. Keep driving and find another place.

The rooms were comfortable and clean and the decor was nice - contemporary and different. Over all well priced. If we had more time I'm sure we would have used the pool which had nice views.

The service however was brilliant both nights. Loved the music by the pool in the evening.

The door noise isolation was not very good and the hotel is close to the via Tuscolana which is a quite busy road. Parking was found a bit too small.
