Review 2：Facilities comfort and excellent host. Lovely house with excellent facilities with a lovely breakfast and very friendly and helpful host Annette. There is nothing that would not look out of place in a 5 star hotel.

Review 3：Annette and Jockey were both very friendly, the breakfasts were great, good food beautifully presented and the accomodation was first rate. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked for things.

Review 4：Beautiful property, stunning room, and Annette could not have been more helpful or welcoming. I casually mentioned the next day was my birthday and I discovered 2 birthday cupcakes complete with candle, personalised with my initial on, and matches. Felt really special.

Review 9：Can we vote 11 out of 10?! Everything was perfect! The location near the city centre (Thurso is also a strategic place to stay if you're headed to the Orkneys), the room was very big and comfortable with a big shower and a big tv screen, the garden was lovely, the host was very kind, she offered us a complimentary glass of wine while she was helping us choosing a restaurant for dinner, she booked it for us and she even offered to take us there!!

Review 10：Quiet and comfortable with lovely decor. Great hospitality from our hosts who even organised and picked up takeaway dinner for us. Beautiful garden, billiard room and bath were welcome extras.

Review 19：Camfield House Thurso To say this B&B is superb is an understatement, if possible we would both give a mark of 12 out of 10 everything just perfect. Our room looked out of the front of the house over the beautiful gardens. The room was large very well furnished, with a large very comfortable bed. We were supplied with white towelling bathrobes and slippers, numerous types of tea, biscuits, cakes, and sundries. Our bathroom had a free standing bath. A separate large shower with the latest stylish fitments. The whole bathroom looked just to clean and nice to dirty by using, but we did and very nice it was. You couldn’t expect a better room & bathroom in a 5 star hotel. This wasn’t all Camfield House has a large comfortably furnished lounge with an open fire to help with the comfort, along with a large flat screen TV with all the SKY channels, which all guests are encouraged to use. Breakfast is served in a large well furnished dining room and includes just everything you could require. Little things that make breakfast so different are separate table setting for each guest with your own cruet, butter dish, milk jug etc. Now we come to Annette the person who puts most of the work into this 5 star B&B a nicer person you could not wish to meet, the perfect landlady who has not been in the trade many years, but is making Camfield House an absolute perfect place to stay if you visit Thurso. If we are ever visiting Thurso again Camfield House is the only place we would like to stay. Good luck for the future Annette you deserve it.

Review 23：I have travelled extensively in this country and abroad, this without doubt ranks as one of the best properties I have stayed in. I arrived late and received a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The property is immaculate in all respects, no shortage in attention to detail, everything was excellent from a very comfortable room to a well-presented breakfast. It’s a property that I will be visiting again and would have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family.

Everything from the owners' attentive service through the excellent facilities, the superb breakfast food, to the property location, could not be faulted in even the slightest way. I'm sure there are many fine establishments in Thurso but this one is undoubtedly top of the list.

Review 30：Both of us have traveled extensively in the last 45 years....this B&B and the lovely couple who own it are extraordinary in our view....the house itself has been restored to the highest standard of workmanship and style of its period; every modern convenience is there - and does not interfere with the ambiance of the house - beds were comfortable; bathrooms superb in everyway; breakfast was a delight - certainly because of the food but also because of the exquisite care that annette takes with table setting; dishes, flowers - everything is perfect and tasteful..evendown to the detail of perfectly formed (and cooked)poached eggs!! we both wished we could have stayed longer here....it is leagues and leagues ahead of ay other B&B that we know of....and many hotels, too...personal care; friendly; helpful - so so superb....
