Reviews for Manis Inn
Review 1:We stayed in a room facing the pool. Unfortunately we had no window that we could see out of, as the glass on the door was opaque.
Review 2:Great pool, lounge chairs, breakfast room andbreakfast. Self service laundry on site. 7 euros to wash and dry
Review 3:The place has no evening sun, it's in the shadow (we missed to check that when booking). The rooms are a little bit dark due to small windows and door. We booked a standard room with seaview, but got "upgraded" to a studie - nice of course - but that had less good view (could see the sea through some trees and a kids playground), so honest little disappointed.
Review 4:Very nice and caring personel, good swimming pool.
Review 5:The beach by the hotel was not childfriendly. The staff was ok but not more than that.
Review 6:Nice and clean room with comfortable beds and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Nice poolarea and a good breakfast.
Review 7:The air conditioning broke down twice but was quickly fixed.
Review 8:The staff at the Manis Inn were very helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much effort for them. the position of the hotel was perfect. Right on the beach and five minutes from the center of Naoussa, which is one of the prettiest fishing villages in the Greek islands.
Review 9:very friendly helpful staff . We had a lovely room with a great view of the sea and pool . Comfortable bed and towels changed every day . Very easy walk to the centre of Naoussa
Review 10:There was no water pressure in the bathrooms.
Review 11:We were given a very warm welcome by Yana and her colleague. It was the best. I highly recommend Manis Inn for anyone visiting Paros.
Review 12:We booked an apartment for 4 people and the room backed into the hill so we didn't benefit from the sea breeze. If you pick a higher room you'll get more of a cross-breeze.
Review 13:Fantastic location and a great deal for a beautiful spot and very nice facilities. We stayed 4 nights and then went to Naxos. We could have stayed much longer! The beach and pool were great, loved the restaurant, and the short walk over the road into town made it very easy to walk in several times each day. Naoussa is gorgeous! Staff, rooms, cleanliness all great.
Review 14:Excellent location, very nice hotel on the beach with a pool. The staff is very kind and recommend us on very good restaurants. The stay in the hotel was excellent.
Review 15:everything is super ok! the location is superb. is near the city. They can change a little bit the breakfast menu. Is not bad, in fact is great but is always the same. Like i said, not a bad thing, just to be more then perfect.
Review 16:Only one small complaint - pillows were not that comfortable.
Review 17:Very close to beach & port. Great pool. Great lunches. Lovely staff - friendly & helpful
Review 18:The room was large and airy, comfortable beds, good air con, great balcony with pool / ocean view. Easy walk into town, good breakfast, nice pool.
Review 19:The Manis Inn was delightful. The location, staff, rooms and property were all well above expectations. For example: we were travelling with another couple, and at check in Mary Manis moved us from one room to two so that we'd all be more comfortable (and at no additional cost!) This is an amazing place and we will be returning at the first opportunity!
Review 20:I was absolutely disgusted by the service and attitude from Manis Inn. They did not realize we spoke Greek and were incredibly rude and arrogant when speaking about us and other guests amongst each other. We were in transit for 25 hours before arriving and they woke us up after 4 hours to change our rooms. Our new room was not ready and they made us wait for over an hour at front desk without so much as an apology, We travel to the Greek Islands every year and I have never had this treatment.
Review 21:I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Avoid like the plague.
Review 22:Breakfast wasn't the greatest and the rooms were a little tired. That said it was cheap for the area.
Review 23:Location was terrific, right next to a nice beach and a short walk to the town of Naoussa.
Review 24:The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing.
Review 25:The staff were lovely, John and Mary Manis were very welcoming. My husband and son enjoyed watching football with John on several occasions. The room was very large, clean and comfortable.
Review 26:No tea-pot and no tea, coffee and sugar in the rooms. No hair softenerin the bath only one key per room no pool towel (only rent for oneeuro). No one at the counter at night
Review 27:Grate location very nice staff privet pool hotel near the beach wifiin the rooms
Review 28:Nothing!
Review 29:This place is Heaven. The hotel was amazing. The beach, pool, location and staff were outstanding! We had the most comfortable bed in our 4 week trip. The view of the pool and ocean was so nice. We ansolutely love Paros and Manis Inn!
Review 30:breakfast very poor Not the best place for couples because too much kids!!! family hotel
Review 31:the hotel is very well located on a nice beach very clean the hotel itself is really nice and in a traditionnal greek style
Review 32:The only area this hotel could be improved was the breakfast, which was not bad, but not very imaginative and the same every day, and it could have been presented a little better, so that the plastic lids were not constantly falling into the pots of honey and yoghurt.
Review 33:Great location with swimming pool and a short walk to the beach. Close to the town which was full of restaurants and a labyrinth of narrow streets and whitewashed buildings. Also a ferry from the nearby harbour had regular boat services to beaches around the bay, which was good as we did not want to get a car.
Review 34:The beach is not the best but is fine for a few days. Lovely bbq area was not used and we stayed for two weeks.
Review 35:The freshness of the room, very comfortable beds and pillows, not having to pay extra for a/c or safe, the very helpful and friendly staff, on a beach, only 10 min. walk in to town, near a bigger supermarket.
Review 36:The breakfast was really bad, tables were hardly ever cleaned from the previous customers so there was no place to seat and even less if you were looking for shadow. The check out time was noon, it was 11:55 and they were calling to the room to say we had to leave the room by noon, which we were about to do. We found that really rude and not what we had found in other islands regarding the nice Greek hospitality.
Review 37:The location is perfect, it has a very nice beach just in front and Naousa (the most wonderful village in Paros and probably Greece) is just 5 minutes walk away.
Review 38:-/- breakfast very basic, should really be more up to international standards and is a disappointment for this great hotel -/- curtains needed in the room (very light, early wake-up) -/- service on the beach would be a plus -/- decoration/design and style of beach terrace could be improved for such a great location
Review 39:+ location on the beach and very near centre + very high service level of reception (versus most hotels we booked in Greece) + combi pool&beach + great view for breakfast/lunch + family friendly, quite
Review 40:Excellent location right on the beach and walking distance to the town. The hotel is a postcard picture. I loved the "beach view breakfast". Transport to and from the ferry perfectly arranged.
Review 41:Need at least one international TV news or other channel. Bathroom basic. We liked the breakfast yoghurt fruit and honey (there is also bread, eggs, cereals etc) but it is a bit unchanged daily for some perhaps.
Review 42:Excellent location, authentic style, staff were excellent, arranged transfers, easy walk to town with many superb restaurants to choose from beats anywhere in the Cyclades. Beds and room large and comfortable. Aircon worked well, wifi too. Various car rentals very nearby. Pool. Views. Right on a good beach, though we took the many boats nearby in town to other beaches mostly. Very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Paros is perfect.
Review 43:The staff were very helpful, location was fantastic right near the town and there were lovely views. We had an amazing times
Review 44:Nothing other that it is windy in September in Naousa.
Review 45:Facilities and hotel staff were outstanding.
Review 46:Good location right on a beach.
Review 47:breakfast was good
Review 48:Brilliant staff and hotel- right on the beach and a short walk into town. Excellent breakfast. Thaks for
Review 49:Maybe the toilet was a little bit small.
Review 50:Breakfast is fanstatic and location is very good. Calm and relax. I really liked this place.
Review 51:Great location
Review 52:Comfort of room for four people. View from balcony! Yani at the front desk.
Review 53:Breakfast very boring. Everyday the same. Missed a kettle
Review 54:The view, the room, the beach
Review 55:Good, quiet location, friendly staff, lovely to be by the beach.
Review 56:Quick walk into town, seaside location, clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Large terrace with table and chairs.
Review 57:Great hotel next to naoussa center and to the beach! we had a great time!
Review 58:Beach very poor Sun beds very poor
Review 59:The whole complex is immaculate and the staff were really great!
Review 60:none
Review 61:Location,Staff,Food Atmosfear Comfort
Review 62:The showers were extremely small
Review 63:The hotel is located right next to the beach and a couple minutes walk away from the town.
Review 64:Breakfast is a bit hectic when hotel full and not so attractive
Review 65:The owners are delightful and staff very welcoming
Review 66:every thing was good ...
Review 67:swimming pool...
Review 68:Great location, customer service, beautiful surroundings
Review 69:Location,cleanliness and service.breakfast is excellent, sun beds are free for guests we had to pay for sun beds in other hotels.
Review 70:breakfast was basic wifi did not work in room (annex building)
Review 71:located close to Naousa and the bus, poolwas great
Review 72:Great location, right on it's own beach. A short 5 minute walk into the harbour area. Quiet, clean with comfortable rooms. Spacious pool area.
Review 73:Very small bathroom
Review 74:Right on the beach 500 meters from Naoussa city
Review 75:Unfortunate run in with the owner who accused my son of not being a guest and rudely telling him to leave the beach. When he realized his mistake there was no apology :(
Review 76:Great location, simple basic rooms but very clean.
Review 77:Owners and staff were exceptionally, friendly and attentive, and they strove to provide a pleasant vacation experience. With helpful tips for restaurants and things to do on the island, they provided overall great value for money.
Review 78:The lunch menu was a bit limited and a shower near the beach access needed.
Review 79:Excellent location and very comfortable beds and room with a view.Having immediate access to the beach.
Review 80:If I had to complain about something, by Australian standards the room was a bit small. By European standards that is not the case, though. Honestly, the hotal and the Island are brilliantly comfortable.
Review 81:Location, location, location ... seriously ... enough said.
Review 82:That the hotel had no sunbeds on the beach. Breakfast could have been more varied, like some hot items, but not complaining, just a suggestion. I do like a fried egg but nothing like that was available.
Review 83:The fact that it was on the beach and the pool was fab and spotless. Also it was close to town and well serviced by buses etc.
Review 84:Wedding party noise over several days where young kids took over pool area, made lots of noise late at night.
Review 85:Lovely setting, great staff! Very nice room, close to town
Review 86:Staff - even if low season - we were the only people in hotel maybe (2 single rooms) - staff did what they should do to make us feel good. Bed ok, I slept very well!
Review 87:Nothing
Review 88:One of the few hotels that is right on the beach, literally walk out the front and your there. Views from the room were lovely of the pool and ocean. Love the fact that the villa had a kitchenette, that's always handy.
Review 89:Not enough beach chairs on the beach. The hotel itself should put a few out in front. Breakfast was good, but there was no restaurant open after since I was there in off season before closing. But nice to get out to the local restaurants were the food was great.
Review 90:Best hotel location in naoussa- on a great beach, clean nice pool, and just a few minute walk to Naoussa centre for restaurants, shopping, and great view. View from my room was great too. Better yet I rented an atv to get around the full island. Much better and more fun than a car. A moped would be a little rough hitting those potholes. Cars would be limited in climbing to the best views of the island. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful.
Review 91:Quality of the breakfast could be improved Would have been perfect to have shuttle service from and to the airport
Review 92:Very good commodities ; swimming pool, restaurant almost on the beach, transat available in a terrasse on the beach. spacious room very friendly staff, always available to support in case of questions (with good advices) not far from the center, in a quiet area on the beach at the reservation, we recieved a very detailed email from the hotels with indications to prepare our trip, very useful
Review 93:The breakfast buffet could have included more variety and some fresh fruit and other items such as tomatoes, melon, etc. The cafe/bar lady was mostly grim.
Review 94:Manis Inn was a very comfortable, clean and beautiful hotel to stay in. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful as well as most of the other staff. Within walking distance to Naousa town. Loved the pool area - beautiful! Would definitely return again.
Review 95:The double room I booked was slightly larger than the bed itself. I don't know if we got the last available room (since I booked just two days prior to arrival), but it was pretty small for the price.
Review 96:The reception staff was very helpful in answering our questions and helping us get oriented. Everyone spoke English and made things easy for us. Just a short walk to the town center and beach access is right outside the reception area. Nice, family-style pool and lounging facilities, too. Mary Manis, who co-owns the hotel, even booked us a shuttle ride back to the port about 30 minutes away.
Review 97:We liked the pool which was a very good size. There were plenty of sunbeds and liked the fact that you could walk through reception and youwere pretty much on the beach. The hotel was close to the town of Noussawhich was about a 5-10 minute walk. The room we had was in the Annexeand was clean but tired. It was fine to sleep in but it was nothingspecial. Staff were friendly and accommodating - tried to find us abigger room as there were 4 of us in a 3 bed room (not the hotels faultthough). Unfortunately there was nothing available but as mentionedabove it was just for sleeping. Would have been nice to see the standardof the hotel rooms vs annexe rooms, as we were a little detached fromthe pool area. All in all it was comfortable and close to beach and thelovely town of Noussa.
Review 98:A Fantastic stay! The Manis family is very nice, always accommodating. The view beautiful with a beach out front and other nice beaches not far away. Naousa is great place to stay, really nice in the evening... lots of winding streets, lots of places to eat, music bars. I will definitely be back. Thanks again for a wonderful stay! Gary.
Review 99:None worth mentioning
Review 100:Very relaxing environment, we didn't need to move to far from the hotel, everything we needed was close by, beach is right in front of hotel, restaurants and shopping are a short walk into town. Breakfast was good. Basically we loved it.
Review 101:poor breakfast. should be improved. most of the reviewers are saying this. they should do something about this
Review 102:great location nice hotel
Review 103:Very nice place in great location, good facilities and lovely staff. Noussa is a lovely destination in June as it is not too busy yet.
Review 104:Good setting great location on beach 10 mins walk from lovely lively town. Comfortable pleasant hotel, no problems went for 1 night stayed 6!
Review 105:Breakfast was dreadful. Surely they could do a little better.
Review 106:Wifi was excellent. Pool was good. Close to the beach and town .
Review 107:Everything was great - the location, the beach, the staff.
Review 108:Beach hotel with great location close to centre of Naoussa.
The Fine Print
