Review 1：Perfect place for relaxing holidays. Beautiful, comfortable & clean rooms. Wonderful seaview. Great selection for breakfast with fresh orange juice & homemade jams (yummy). Very good Taverna across the road - Kosmas. Fantastic staff - Ola and Katerina made our stay even more enjoyable.

Review 2：Just be careful of the local drivers, much too fast in the busy road and crazy over taking despite the double white lines, traffic laws seem rather voluntary as were helmets - but could say this for most of the tourist locations on the island. Also note for those with baby car seats ISOFIX is not standard even on new hire cars.

Lots within walking distance on the street to restaurants and other facilities near by. Thanks to the owners and staff for making us very welcome and comfortable.

I told my wife that the Marakas Beach Apartments was the best customer focused hotel/condo/B&B that we have ever stayed in. Review 14：We arrived duri bad weather and it was raining for the first four days of our holiday which was disappointing

Review 15：Spent a week just recently here and it was perfect, was greeted warmly by olia (?) who showed us straight to our rooms and let us got on with things after a brief introduction to the room. We had garden view studie which was the perfect room for us, it was private and beatufully yet simply decorated. Id reccomend that if you choose to book your stay during april, book it AFTER their easter (it was a week after our easter in uk) as local business were out of season and closed. Many sunbeds placed all ready with free beach towels. The bus stop is clsoe to tge hotel and was only 1.60€ (if you do use the bus look out for a coach vehicle rather than the normal bus vehicle we are used to in england) for a short 20 mintes journey into their centre. Finally, their breakfast was nice although we only got up for it twice as we simply wanted to sleep, however more variety would be nice and fresh bread would have been better. All in all the best place to stay in chania

We stayed for over a week and while the weather was mixed and places were only beginning to open, we still could rely on an amazing experience at our hotel. Review 33：Just a wonderful hotel. It has the best position: right on the beach. The apartments are modern and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is fantastic and served with a view on the sea. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and welcome. I'd also like to mention the restaurant at the other side of the street: Kosmas. It serves very good Cretan good and is set in an elegant garden. I have travelled through Crete for seven summers now and this is absolutely the best hotel so far!

Review 35：We stayed at Marakas Beach for a week in early June, and loved every minute of it. The hotel is kept extremely clean and designed and furnished in an appealing, minimalist way - it looked like it had just been renovated. Everything you need is provided for you in your room (it's almost a small apartment), including a beautiful, quite large bathroom and a little kitchenette if you want to make some meals for yourself. The best thing about Marakas Beach? Undoubtedly the staff. Led by Katerina at the front of house, they are extremely accommodating of late arrivals, requests for help and the like. The service is genuinely on par with a five-star city hotel. The hotel is directly in front of a calm beach which is great for swimming, and the hotel provides enough sun loungers and beach towels for all the guests - so you don't need to think about staking out your territory before the proverbial German tourists take all the good ones (sorry Germans). Breakfast was a combination of Cretan dishes and European standards, all made and served very well. The hotel staff will happily prepare fried eggs, omelettes etc on request. The only downside? WiFi was a bit temperamental at times, and sometimes it was several hours before we could use it. But this seemed to be resolved by the time we left, and Katerina did her best to call the internet provider and resolve disruptions very promptly (and even offered her own laptop if we needed to do something urgent). We didn't do much in the local area so can't comment about it (though there are good supermarkets if you need them), but Chania town is a short bus ride/drive away. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Katerina and all for a wonderful holiday.

Review 38：The garten view studio we had would need a window that could be left open during the nights so, when the outside temperatures allow it, you don't need to use AC. As a positive point to this, the AC is new, "smart/multifunctional" and silent so you can leave it on without any problems.

Review 39：We loved most of the things during our stay. The staff from the hotel is great, helpfull and always open for conversation. The breakfast had all I could expect. We also got additional warm milk for our son (when we arrived at midnight). The sandy beach is exelent with a golden copper colour. The fact that the beach is not very big gave us a very "intimate" feeling. Due to the town infrastructure there is a tradeoff between the closeness to the beach and the noise from the main road, but all other positive things compensate for this. We also received one additional bed for our son that was fitted in the room. There are many good things to say about the hotel but finally I definitely recommend this hotel and will surely come back next time I am in Crete.

Review 64：My sister and I arrived early at about 9am and Katarina welcomed us by name and let us check straight into our 2 bedroom apartment. Throughout our stay we were treated like family. The views from our rooms were breathtaking. Right outside of our unit was the breakfast room which we were offered free that morning. Then the cleanest pool I have ever seen and a few steps more and we were on the beach, with our own beach recliners and towels. Everyone was lovely especially Katarina and Annetta. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Our beds were very comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. The bus stop was close by and a supermarket was just over the road. Restaurants were everywhere. We only wished our stay was longer.

Review 66：10 is not enough. If I ever go back to Chania then I will make sure to book this place again. Very comfortable apartments, the beach next to it is the best one in the area (we walked on the beach it gets stony and rocky very quickly if you go to other places), there is a market cross the street where you can get fruit. Plenty of restaurants. There are car rental agencies a stone throw away from the apartments.

We enjoy hiking inSamarian Gorge with guide Tomas, but know, that all trip takes all day(5.30-20.30), our legs was painful 3 days. Rent car in front hotel-,,Autohire", 35 euro per day, go to Kourna lake,Elafonisi, MonastyrChrisoskalitissas. We enjoy to stay here more.

Review 74：We loved being steps from the excellent, sandy beach with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast by the sea each morning was very pleasant. Katerina and Annette were wonderfully attentive and made us feel right at home. The decor is very tasteful with well-appointed rooms. Breakfast was very good, location is close to Chania and was very quite at the beginning of April. Review 78：Everything we expected and more! Stalos itself is great beach resort and located next to Chania and other great beaches in crete, and among the many many hotels at Stalos Maraks is on top. Pleasant, comfortable, clean, excellent rooms, great beach and the lovely family who runs is it all so well.
