Reviews for Green Lane House B&B

Review 1:The automatic light and (noisy) ventilation in the bathroom (no switch) : impossible to go to the toilets in the night in silence. Very difficult to find the B&B : no numbers in the street, the situation on google map was wrong (on the opposite side of the road), the name of the B&B is the name of the street (local people know others B&B in the street but not this one), the sign with the name of the B&B has light, but is too small to see it from the street. Fortunately, Pat came with his car to look for us after 30 minutes to look for the place.

Review 2:Beautiful house and big and beautiful room. Very friendly staff.

Review 3:Owner went that extra mile and left me a fab fresh fruit salad every morning outside my door as leaving very early, well before breakfast served. Home from home! Rooms really clean and comfortable - Deluxe standard of bedding and curtains etc. Recommended an excellent local restaurant too! Many thanks

Review 4:When we came back to the room after being out for dinner, the room was freezing as the windows were open and no heating on. The beds were the worst we have ever (tried) to sleep in, neither of us got much sleep. The bed was so hard it was impossible to get comfortable in. Breakfast was ok, we went down early as we were both awake and asked for a pot of tea while we waited for breakfast, tea never arrived. And when breakfast was served it arrived with 2 pieces of buttered toast on top of it, normally toast comes in a basket and not pre buttered. Wasn't impressed with the bathroom. Which when we got up to shower in the morning was very cold. Again no heating on at 7am.

Review 5:Hostess was lovely. Location was perfect for us. I didn't realise they didn't take cards (my fault). And she insisted that I could come back later and pay not to be rushing.

Review 6:Lady of house not very nice and complained that we didn't say we had 3staying in rooms which one ccouldn't say when booking and also it was 2 children and for all they eat at breakfast it cost nothing. We also got 2 more guests for her an extra 60 euro !!!!!

Review 7:The bed was just gorgeous and we got a much needed full night's sleep. The owners were friendly and accommodating and even offered us very useful shopping advice!

Review 8:Nothing

Review 9:Warm welcome, wonderful choice of breakfast, cosy room with very comfortable bed, family atmosphere did not feel like guests more like friends. Would highly recommend

Review 10:The walls were very thin you could hear the conversation in the next room. The light in the bathroom was on a timer so you had to dance in the shower otherwise you were in the dark. Also the light would not stay on to put on your makeup! There was no shaving mirror. There was no heating in the morning. The bed was soft.
