Review 1：A lot of mosquitos in October.
Review 2：I've stayed at the studios twice this year and will definitely be going back again. George who runs the place is a great guy who can't do enough to make sure your stay is great and has become a family friend. Stalos is a nice, quiet area with a good beach and is only a short bus ride from busy Chania and Platanias with loads of places to eat and drink. I've stayed in a lot of apartments on a lot of different Greek Islands but this is my personal favourite.
Review 3：The owner, George, was at the property most of the day, and was friendly and very helpful, ranging from small things (such as helping carry our bags) to bigger things (late check-out; plus, we wanted a different dinner table in our balcony, and he quickly serviced our request). He even let me have a free towel as we checked-out! Thanks George, keep up the good work!
Review 4：We found in Egli Studios a comfortable place where to spend our days in the west of Crete. The owner, Giorgos, has been a great adviser for place to visit and restaurant. Returning after a long excursions, having a bath in the Egli's swimming pool and talking about Crete with Giorgos: I will remeber this experience with very pleasure!
Review 5：It is comfortable apartments with nice flowering surround and swimming pole. There is small kitchen with all staff for cooking. Very clean. The owner is very kind, helpful and friendly. The way to the see is 10-15 minutes; to the bus stop is 10 minutes.

Review 16：The showerhead uphang was broken, so you had to hold it when showering. The tap in the bathroom was leaking a little.

Review 21：Giorgios was very helpful and picked me up from the airport for only 15 euros. There are great views from the roof garden and the pool is good. There are flowers everywhere, it's a very beautiful to chill out. Stalos beach is about 10 mins walk, it's sandy and clean with good facilities.

Review 24：I'm so glad that accidentally, we had a chance to discover it. We planned to stay only for two nights, but the place charmed us so much, that we decided to extend our stay for three additional days. The Egli studios is located on a hill, so that from the roof (where also we can use sunbeds) is a beautiful view on a sea. The location is secluded but very close to the centre and great beach of Stalos. The rooms are very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped with a fridge, electric stove, kettle, toaster, dishes, and of course quite new air conditioning. Each room have the entrance from the outside, which gives us a sense of independence and privacy. On the front of every room there is a table, chairs and sometimes even swing, so we can eat meals and spend time outside. The entire building is covered with flowers (it's so magical), which gives us on the evenings a beautiful scent. In the middle of the building there is a square with really nice and well-maintained swimming pool, which we can use any time. The ownership Giorgione creates a great atmosphere- cared about us so much that we felt very welcome. George, if you read this, thank you again for a wonderful stay. We will be back soon :)

Review 31：Egli Studios is a perfect choose! Beautiful location with a wonderful garden and swimmingpool just outside your door. We had a balcony as well as a outside sitting area where we had all our meals and on the rooftop there is a bigger veranda for barbecues and evening drinks. Egli Studios is run by George, a super friendly and service minded guy that helped us with whatever we needed, everything from ordering pizza, suggestions on what to do or where to rent bikes etc.. He really made our stay at Crete even more wonderful than we could imagine. Not to forget the price, Egli Studios was one of the cheapest accommodations available and during our stay we walked around to some of the other hotels we had thought about booking and none of them even compared to Egli Studios. We are so happy we ended up living there and we will go back next summer again!!
Review 32：Do not expect five-star amenities. The shower is really uncomfortable, It is not always enough water pressure, because of that, I'm sorry, but after flushing the toilet, at any time all pipes are terribly buzzing. But the owner was always trying to brighten up the room shortcomings, and now, at the end of the trip, we regret that it ended. He did it - better was not expected. Review 33：Do not lie if I say that it was the best vacation of our practice. Why? We toured half the world through Booking, and we stayed in different hotels, but this modest apartment complex left a most pleasant experience. It is worth because of the owner - George. Very attentive young man was always ready to help with advice. Every day there was some kind of gift: a jar of olives from the farm of his father, or a bottle of red wine from the same place. Olive oil was always at our disposal.The place is very quiet, and the hotel, apart from us, was almost empty. On the last day came the Italian young guys, who roared, and we are not accustomed to this. At least there was no one who would violate our peace. In the yard is a large swimming pool, flowering trees, even animals - cats, an owner's dog Phaeedra - all those friendly. In this part of Stalis very quiet. A shop is located in 100 m. On the contrary - a great and wonderfully tasty restaurant with cheap prices and genuine hospitality elderly landlady. Although there is in hotel is am individual rooftop area with grill.You can rent a car (120 euros for three days for the Ford Focus) and drive around the stunning canyon on the way to Falasarna (just do not use the machine on simple touristic routes. Drive 50 km on the road in the direction of Paleochora and take a right in any direction on Falasarna to see the miracle! And from Falasarna take a trip to Pаleohora!).The beautiful beach is in 500 meters away. Friendly host George offered to get us a beach parasol.Я не покривлю душой, если скажу, что это был один из лучших отдыхов в нашей практике. Почему? Review 34：- bathroom seriously outdated and very small, very little pressure for hotwater, air conditioning not working (but we managed without) - the courtyard can be very noisy if you have neighbours sitting and chatting by the poll (we had a bad experience with Italian teenagers swimming and speaking very loudly until 4 am - this triggered us to move to another location).

But the best thing about this place is the hospitality, truly amazing. From before we arrived, the staff had already emailed us to confirm the reservation and send us directions on how to get there, and during our stay Giorgos was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!
Review 50：The studios are ideally located, close to the beach, the main road and close to some great tavernas! George, the guy in charge, was really friendly and gave us many great tips on what to see, where to eat etc. Overall it's a great option for exploring Crete's northwestern coast and its towns.
Review 51：Prices are very good. The hotel is near the main Stalos street, but far enough from it that no noise can be heard. Everything is clean, there are all dishes/tools needed, anything additional you may need - the owners are very helpful to provide. The interior is very cosy, outside there are some tables to sit near your room or the pool. The owners suggested some really nice places to visit, including some small villages and tavernas. The atmosphere of communication is very warm and pleasant. Really recommended!

Review 53：Egli Studios was an excellent choise! Its location is ideal if you want to combine the beach and the town of Chania. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and the local bars and restaurants, and also a 15 minutes drive from the town center. The room was in an excellent condition, very clean, relaxing atmosphere and it provided all the necessary for a comfortable stay. The responsable guy was really friendly, kind and helpful. We liked all his suggestions about where to go and what to do. I strongly recomend it!
