Reviews for Hotel Parco Degli Ulivi
Review 1:Free Wifi had a very poor connection.
Review 2:Beautiful location and surroundings with extremely clean facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food and wine cellar were also fantastic. Felt like we were in our own little piece of Sardinian paradise!
Review 3:Half board was excruciating, frankly one meal after the other, it was poor cooking aside from the ice creams... No wifi in the rooms No room service, the only time we tried it, they left all the meal reliefs outside in the terrace all night... Climatisation did not work first day, the landline just never worked at all during the 7 days of our stay Lastly, we paid for a junior suite upgrade but just got a large room tagged as deluxe on the final bill, either they do not have junior suites or have no idea of what it is but clearly there is something wrong here
Review 4:Staff is fantastic and very helpful
Review 5:The only point in our opinion is that there is no Wifi in the rooms or next to the swimming pool.
Review 6:We have been in Parco Degli Ulivi at the end of our trip in Sardinia. This is a lovely place perfectly located near Olbia. People were great, our room was really nice and proper. The swimming pool is beautiful and the restaurant delicious. We enjoyed our stay there.
Review 7:Nothing.
Review 8:Location in quiet countryside with great views; layout of rooms in three small blocks around the grounds; friendly, helpful staff; small number of rooms - even when nearly full it is not busy; excellent breakfast, high-quality restaurant and wine cellar; really nice pool; everything, really.
Review 9:Rooms are excellent but not very well insulated and you can hear neighbours etc
Review 10:The hotel is set in lovely grounds with separate buildings such as restaurant, reception and rooms. Staff are excellent and as this is very secluded with stunning views from the pool overlooking the mountains it is an excellent choice to relax into holiday. You can also borrow chairs and beach umbrella for beach which was fab and saved us buying them.
Review 11:The room was not very well isolated, therefore you could hear the neighbours quite well. Also the poolbar was closed, anyway the 'official' bar is very little and is not a standalone bar, but manned by the people from the reception. If you like to have a nice evening atmosphere at a bar and drinks, this is not really the place where one should go (beginning of May at least)
Review 12:Friendly staff, very nice area and surroundings. The room had a beautiful patio.
Review 13:Nothing was wrong but suggested the music by the pool could be a bit more relaxed.
Review 14:Lovely pool area Comfortable beds, large terrace, good sized bathroom Excellent advice in good English on where to go Beautiful beaches nearby Quiet, private location.
Review 15:not bad but need to know: need rental car; not directly on seaside restaurant more high level (not expensive but also not cheap compared to local restaurants);
Review 16:nice surrounding, embedded in hills; nice garden; quiet; consists of several house spread over total area; good hub to visit different places on seaside; restaurant with good quality; polite staff; had good tips for lunch in area; reception has sunshades you can take with you on seaside;
Review 17:Closer to beaches than you think
Review 18:Charged twice for a drink
Review 19:Swimming pool-breakfast -location
Review 20:wifi,very poor, it is a little bit far from any place
Review 21:the surroundings, the staff,
Review 22:Walking distance to a beach - but everything else compensated for this by far.
Review 23:Staff went out of their way to help us at every opportunity, food was of a really high quality, hotel itself was in a stunning setting with easy to reach (by car) beaches and restaurants. Would go back tomorrow!
Review 24:lack of Wifi in the rooms, temporary problems with hot water and internal phones
Review 25:beautiful setting and views, very nice and friendly staff, offered possibility of room presentation and choice
Review 26:Waiters at breakfast were not attentive - I gave up any idea of obtaining a hot drink. Wine in the restaurant is expensive. I had a problem with the initial reservation through Booking.com in that it did not recognise that I had selected the halfboard offer, and I had to sort it out with three emails before it was resolved.
Review 27:The hotel is in a lovely, quiet location - in the countryside, but close to a good-sized town and also close to the pretty coastline. The staff were all friendly and spoke very good English (and, some, other languages too, such as German). I got a good deal through Booking.com with half-board included (which I would recommend) - dinner was delicious with attentive waiters. Breakfast was a very good buffet selection. Rooms were well sound-proofed.
Review 28:Would be nice to have WIFI in the rooms, but its understandably difficult as they are spread out over the compound. Wifi in restaurant works well. One suggestion (not a complaint) - might be worth reviewing the lighting and decoration in the restaurant to give it a bit more of a romantic and cosy atmosphere.
Review 29:One of the very rare cases these days were the pictures are actually not doing it justice, its nicer than it looks. Beautiful calm setting in the mountains, but easy to reach Costa Smeraldas' beaches within 30 min. You're rewarded for the bit of additional driving with a very attractive value for money deal, we also stayed directly at the coast paid a lot more for less quality. Good value & quality evening menu as well as breakfast. We are super picky about food, but nothing to complain about here, good cappucino and good choice of bread (yep, we're German ;-) at breakfast, very good choice of wines by the glass - 'Parallelo' in particular is a nice Sardinian white.
Review 30:Having to pay to use the Jacuzzi. Not having any information in English. The plastic shower curtain. Having a bar that wasn't manned
Review 31:The long slow dining each night< in the lovely restaurant. The lovely infinity swimming pool. All the lovely terracotta pots in wrought iron stands. The lovely way that the villas are set in the olive groves
Review 32:Our stay was spoiled by rain and then several days of wind so we did not venture into the hotel pool, but it certainly looked nice.
Review 33:This is a very nice sprawling hotel located in the countryside near Arzachena. Our room was spacious and well appointed, breakfast and evening dining was nice but not gourmet, all staff were friendly and helpful. It was an easy drive to see most of what northern Sardinia has to offer.
Review 34:NOTHING!!!
Review 35:I choose this place because of the location and other's reviews and it was all that was expected and more. We loved the views and our room was cute and spacious. No tub but that was ok for us. The AC was cold and we had channels in English!! One night we decided to stay in and the gentlemen at the restaurant were so nice, they us gave a bucket of ICE and glasses for our bottle of wine. The views were great from room 112!! All the cities are very easy to reach and beaches are 10 mins away, which was nice because it was nice to get away from all the touristy stuff when we wanted to but close enough as well. The staff were so nice and very helpful. Upon arrival they gave a map and showed all the places to visit in that region and the best ways to get there. We plan to go back to Sardinia next summer and we will def. be staying here again. No need to look for another place to stay this is it!! 4 Stars. Breakfast was also yummy and fresh and well stocked, and the restaurant at night was amazing!!
Review 36:Breakfast and restaurant let us a bit down food wise. We expected a bit more of the local cuisine. There's an attempt to make it a bit upmarket with the dinner menu, but local delicacies would go a bit better offer in our view. Mind you, lots of foreigners and so lots of different tastes and opinions.
Review 37:Great relaxing place. We didn't really take full advantage of the facilities as the beaches are only 8km away and all beaches of costa serena only 20min away. The hotel is far enough from the busy hub of the Smeralda coast, but still close enough to many things. Cannigione is close by and great eating places scattered just a few minutes drive away (e.g. San Pantaleo). The hotel suites are great and have plenty of space. All very clean and tidy. Pool is good, and scenery... faultless. Staff always very helpful.
Review 38:Hotel should work on some smaller issues: No safe deposit box, long waiting time for hot water, pool service should be improved. We found a pair of shoes in our room (212), left overs from previous guests. What does that mean for room maintenence?
Review 39:Extremely helpful reception staff, stunning hillside location.
Review 40:The beds are a little hard, but most beds in Sardinia seemed to be hard.
Review 41:The staff at the hotel were both extremely helpful and friendly. Their welcome could not have been warmer. We would definitely stay here again.
Review 42:Our room was very sparse with a strange layout. No WiFi in the rooms.
Review 43:A newer resort and grounds still being planted, but it is a fantastic location with mountain views. Very friendly staff.
Review 44:One may think that the hotel is a little bit too far from the Smeralda coast. But in reality it takes only 40 minutes to get there by a car but the area is much less crowded that the coast itself. Being inland you may choose different beach every day and have the same driving distance from the hotel. Personally I think that this is rather advantage than difficulty.
Review 45:Everything was good in this hotel. Staff was very friendly and open to us. The room was big, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant offered very tasty food. I would say that the most sophisticated and tasty food during our two weeks trip around Sardinia was in this hotel. Free parking is another advantage
Review 46:Remarkable quiet location, nice room, large swimming pool with sunbeds and large parasols, good restaurant and very nice staff
Review 47:Busy area. Nearby beach is somewhat disappointing
Review 48:Beautifull complex in parksetting. Luxurious pool and restaurant.
Review 49:Super Stay, nice view. Try restorant for dinner.
