Reviews for Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru
Review 1:The rooms are more rustic than what is portrayed in the photos online and could use some finishing touches such as cleaning crushed bugs off the walls. Our bathroom also smelled like a sceptic tank. Some staff members had an attitude.
Review 2:The property is beautiful and well maintained. The pool near the Suites is a peaceful haven to enjoy at any time of day. Breakfast was good with several items to choose from.
Review 3:The absolutely sky high price of food in the restaurant - which is fine for evening meals but there's no option for cheaper, simpler lunches. As an example on our last day we had 3 plates of pasta (1 plate shared between 2 children as there are no children's portions) soft drinks, coffee (no dessert) and it was 70 euros! It spoiled our visit a bit as we couldn't afford to stay on site as much as we'd like as we had to go out for food all the time. Other agritourismos / boutique places we have stayed get round this by providing a shared fridge & a few bits of cutlery & crockery so people can make their own simple lunches and be able to stay in their remote hotel for the day. A small point but it says toiletries but in reality only shampoo and soap is provided - so don't expect any nice extras.
Review 4:Stunning Location. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly kind staff. Comfy beds. Beautiful decor.
Review 5:Nothing really, Quite a few families with small children. If this is an issue for you, it could have a negative effect. Big area's, therefore no problem for us. We were here in high season (school holidays).
Review 6:Wonderful peaceful location and typical Italian style. Food and service are great. Garden and public areas brilliant and clean. You should eat here at least once in your lifetime...
Review 7:In one week we grew a bit tired of the menu. We were perfectly happy with the inland location, but new guests should be aware the beaches are 15 minutes drive away. The pools however, are right outside the rooms and they are not crowded.
Review 8:We liked the rustic charm of the hotel. It was not big, which gave an intimate, friendly atmosphere.
Review 9:The wifi was completely non-existent, we didn't manage to log on once in our room. The restaurant was good but very expensive compared with eating out.
Review 10:Rooms were large and clean with a big bed. Having 2 pools was great as our room (junior suite) was set up a hill from the main pool, most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely. Location is great for access to good beaches but with peace and quiet.
Review 11:None
Review 12:Very good organized, pretty large territory with impressive views to the mountains and the town. Restaurant serves a perfect local kitchen dishes and staff is the kindest and most helpful we could imagine.
Review 13:Nothing
Review 14:Very beautiful property and well maintained. Love the pool, always very clean. Wonderful service and good food.
Review 15:Location, restaurant, service, the calmness & serenity of the place.
Review 16:Accommodation is rustic - which adds to its charm. Its relatively comfortable but could be improved
Review 17:Staff extremely friendly. The waiter in the restaurant was superb at helping us try local food and the cuisine was extremely good value
Review 18:-no wifi in rooms
Review 19:-beautifully landscaped, pretty location, stunning views -very comfortable and stylish suites and rooms -excellent facilities including swimming pool -caring and polite staff -great food & wine
Review 20:Wifi is offered but really doesn't work. Frankly it would be better to say there is none. Te restaurant is good, but not cheap.
Review 21:Very pleasant accommodation with fabulous swimming pools and a rural setting which is wonderfully tranquil. Staff are more than friendly - the elderly waiter Sergio is quite a character. The place feels luxurious and special.
Review 22:No kettles, coffee making facilities, can't get service during the day this includes drinks.
Review 23:Very comfortable beds, black out curtains, lots of room and air going through the rooms.
Review 24:Service in the restaurant was a little slow. The head waiter, Sergio, is brilliant, (and a great linguist) but he was rushed off his feet and could have used some help! But this was not a major problem and the food was good, if a little on the pricey side.
Review 25:The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is set in beautifully maintained grounds. The pool is lovely. Our room was very nicely furnished and we appreciated having our own terrace to sit out on in the evening. It was nice to be able to get BBC world news on the TV!
Review 26:Stazzo is a beautiful place for holidays, pool and garden are fantastic. It is a perfect place to relax. It is not far from the beaches of Costa Smeralda. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Highly recommended.
Review 27:Price versus Quality, I paid to much for what I got. I paid for a suite with a decent double bed and a couch where my children slept on, and one bathroom with shower, 6 nights, breakfast and 3 diners 2.283 €. You can order an espresso or a cappuccino or a scrambled egg with your breakfast but with no additional charge... Only I found that out when I left and payed my bill or they made a mistake with my bill. Anyway, no one asked me in the morning if I wanted an omelet or a decent cappucino. There was insufficient internet availability and the quality was poor. They say it is a hotel, but there is no one around if you want a drink at the pool. You have to look first to find available staff and then you have to bring it yourself to the pool. There is not enough staff for this price category. Not enough waiters.
Review 28:Beautiful area, lovely buildings and swimming pool. Idyllic terrace for breakfast and dining.
Review 29:The restaurant was excellent and the waiter was great x taking time to explain everything and recommending our wine each night. He is a great ambassador for the hotel. The setting was lovely and very peaceful on a hill overlooking the town. The rooms were spacious and nicely done and the small number of rooms made for a great place to relax after exploring the coast.
Review 30:The material on internet absolutly doesnt corespondence with realpictures. Price is absolutly uncomperible with place, servis, qualityetc. You can go to Hotel in Porto Cervo where is realy 4star hotelBagaglino I Gilardini di Porto Cervo cross road directinos pitrizza andthere is privat beach fantastic restaurant on water with 3 course inprice 19EUR/persone including wine. Luxury acomodation 100m to beachand fantastic servis in half price compare Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru!!! Wepayed for 14day include breakfast 2760 eur and in Pitrizza you willrecived much more and price in some rooms quality a season is 50% less.Never ever.
Review 31:Hotel is still in proces of development. That means the first part ofcomplex is redy and nice but on the hill is still working people and youare living on buildings area without grase and with lot of dash. Roomsare ok in eu statistic more like 3stars not 4 stars like showingmaterials about hotel. Hotel has very nice restaurant but servis iscompletly depent on one very old person which speaking English andGermen: Break fast not coresponded with 4stars hotel. Restaurant is veryexpensive compare what you are reciveing around.
Review 32:We stayed in one of the spacious new junior suites in an idyllic location up on the hillside with fantastic views over the valley. The second pool situated in this area will soon be completed, this will add to acommodation. However, there is a lovely pool lower down which we used. The restaurant is also down the hill and provides excellent food for buffet breakfast and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel to couples or families.
Review 33:The absolutely only thing that I would reccommend is that you do reallyneed to have a car to get out and about so if you're not happy drivingon the other side then this probably isn't the location for you. Butthat was not a problem for us.
Review 34:Sergio and the restaurant staff were amazing, nothing was ever too muchtrouble including making dishes that weren't on the menu.Food and wine were delicious. Eating in the hotel restaurant was expensive but well worth it, strongly suggest people go half board. The other benefit is that you can both drink alcohol and don't need one of you to drive, but without compromising on tasty dishes! The pool was beautiful and the surrounding landscapes are breath taking. When you arrive don't carry your bags up to reception or the poor girl in reception will get killed by her boss. Her words not mine!! They have a golf buggy to help with the hilly landscapes and so you don't give yourself a hernia. The staff will happily reccomend beaches and visits, the boat trip is nice but a bit expensive. Take food as the pasta wasn't great.
Review 35:We had a fantastic stay at Stazzu Lu Ciaccaru! The hotel area is lovely and the suites large, comfortable and with a very nice decor. Perfect hotel to relax and at the same time close to the cities of Arzachena&Olbia and the coast line. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant served good and quality food both for breakfast and dinner. Hopefully we will be back at this hotel very soon :)
