Review 1：I don't generally make comment of the things we don't like but there were some problems with our room. The bed and pillows were very hard. Our room faced the tram line and was not at all soundproof. We battled with the noise if the trams and the guests in the adjoining room until very late. Unfortunately neither of us were able to sleep due to noise and discomfort of the bed. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a restful night's sleep. Maybe there are better rooms available.

Review 2：The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast selection was great. The location was close to the station which is good if you are in transit. It is a pleasant walk to all major attractions.

Review 9：Not so close to the train station. On the map it seems close, but the hotel is at the side of the train station and the actual walk from the hotel to the SMN is longer than you'd think. It's right next to the city train line. V. noisy even if you close the window. And you'll hear it every 5 minutes from like 5 in the morning til 12 in the evening. Front desk was very friendly and helpful while the breakfast staffs were overburdened, yet rude and uncaring.

Review 15：The room was very small for 2 people. Since we were there on business, there was inadequate drawer space and closet space. On the last day, I saw that there was a newer section of the hotel and those accommodations might be more worthy of the 4 star rating. The bathroom amenities were sparse (no tissues and occasional plastic cups.)

Review 17：Brilliant size family room. Great location for travelling as very close to train station but far enough away that it was quiet. Easily walk into centre for food, shops, sightseeing etc. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were great with our young children. I would def recommend to anyone with children.

Review 18：However we did have issues with the lift in the newer section of the hotel, which was a little scary when we were stuck on the 3rd floor! The person at the front desk did his best to help us get out of lift and to our rooms.

Review 28：Our bathroom had an extremely low ceiling and a really low entrance. It would be perfect for hobbits as we had to stoop to enter the bathroom. We each smacked our head once on entering the bathroom!

The breakfast was good- a lot of variation (your typical European breakfast [meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, scrambled eggs, yogurt and cereal]). Review 38：I didn't like that my room was not even in the hotel, but across the parking lot in another building. My room was cheap, the TV never worked properly, no one seemed to be able to fix it. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable, the air conditioner didn't work and the window sills had mold on them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very disappointed in this hotel, the cost for such a poor room and felt the staff was not interested in fixing my issues. This was the third hotel in Florence I have stayed in and expected more.

The staff member sprayed the toilet and checked it , however no other room was offered. This could be becasue the hotel was fully booked however no follow up was done either .

Review 53：The pillows were way too hard and flat which made them extremely uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi had a strong connection, but I had to keep logging-in each time I used it. The room was very small and cramped for 4 people, compared to some of the other rooms we had in Italy.

Review 54：The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is so convenient, just around the corner from the train station. It's an easy walk, even toting luggage. It's also an easy walk to the Mercato Centrale, the Duomo, and the Ponte Vecchio. The windows are practically sound proof, so we did not hear any of the noise from the train station.

Review 97：The room was too small. I was traveling with a colleague (which does not fit into any of your selection). The toilet was spacious but desk space was so small that I do not understand why the space wasn't totally made use of. The toiletries provided were pathetic. The pillows need a change desperately. They were a pain to sleep on. The TV is small and sad and the remote difficult to use - instructions were unclear as to how to use it.

Review 99：No restaurant facilities. Wi fi was free but very patchy. Breakfast was average. No tea / coffee making facilities in the room, though when we did ask, we were provided with a kettle. Last night of our stay we asked for a wake-up call which never happened. When mentioned to the duty receptionist, she just shrugged it off.

Staff were not terribly interested. Could do more to improve the hotel. Lack of care really. Annexe part is called a "resort" for some unknown reason! Review 102：Only the proximity to the major sights. Only good thing in the room is that the bed linen and towels were changed daily.

Review 103：Breakfast was very average. Scrambled eggs like yellow plasticine and no other hot choices, e.g bacon or sausage. Very disapointed in the allocated room which was a converted attic with no windows to the outside except for high attic windows that were operated electrically but opening them resulted in mosquito's entering the room. Compared to other hotels experienced on the trip so far, this facility was the dearest paid so far so in our mind did not represent good value. Plastic disposable cups in the room is not ideal for drinking wine and beer from and they were not replaced when the room was cleaned so we had to ask reception for replacements. It was not a disaster by any means but we believe they could do better. Wifi was hopeless - poor signal with endless dropouts.

Review 121：The receptionist on duty at the time of our arrival on 7th December after 15.30 was brilliant, friendly, courteous and we like to see a good smile. Smiles goes a long way for us as we are dental nurses. The hotel has been perfectly transformed.... This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in in Florence City centre.... Officially this will be our stop off point. We had the quadruple room .... with patio.... excellent and very clean. The icing on the cake to us, would have been for provision for a bar / restaurant on premises. We, in fact have no problem recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Review 122：when will italian hotels start to offer for breakfast the perfect italian espresso and capucchino? I did not feel the 4 stars, rather it deserved 3 stars. We had to switch off the air conditioning during night because of the noice it made.
