Reviews for Kalypso Hotel
Review 1:Do not assume, however early you book, that you will be allocated the same room for the duration of your stay.
Review 2:The location on the outskirts of Naoussa is perfect, despite Kalypso being difficult to find - lovely breakfast outside by the water.
Review 3:My only negative was that the pillows were too hard and the sunbeds outside are not that great.
Review 4:Pleasent staff and great location. Friendly and accommodating. I decided to stay for 2 more days as I wanted more tranquil time before heading to Mykonos.
Review 5:Excellent location! 10 mins from naousa centre and by the sea side. Warm true hospitality! Friendly staff taking the extra mile! Hotel facilities fantastic and rooms very clean, bright, fresh and comfortable! Fantastic view from the room, facing the sea.
Review 6:Breakfast was a bit too European for our tastes. Only eggs on offer were boiled. We didnt like the vibe of the hotel and felt it is more suited to older Europeans. The beach out the front is a muddy type of sand and not very pleasant to sit on. The hotel does have a few sunbeds, but they are taken very early. We went elsewhere as there are much better beaches around the island.
Review 7:Night one: lovely clean bright room with a great bathroom. However, we booked a double room and were given a twin room where the beds were pushed together. The room was extremely noisy due to the road outside the room. Night two: nice room with views of the sea and very quiet. Only got this room because we were going to leave the hotel...however the bathroom was tiny and the shower was so small that the shower curtain clung to your body in the shower and we are not big people. Manager was nice enough to drive us back to the bus station and it was an easy walk to the old town.
Review 8:Help yourself breakfast very oddly laid out: rather a crush of people. Needs a little thought.
Review 9:Very good location with the sea at the bottom of the garden: quick access to the beach with possibility of walking round the bay. Good supply of tables and chairs in the garden (but this was after the height of the season had passed). Better than decent breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Generously sized room. Very recommendable - would go back.
Review 10:Shower very small and old fashioned. The bathroom is the only drawback we can think of.
Review 11:Location excellent within walking distance to Naoussa, staff very friendly, room big, hotel beach very nice, wifi excellent, car parking not a problem, quiet.
Review 12:Pictures of the rooms on Booking sometimes do not match with the real rooms
Review 13:Position, hospitality
Review 14:Just excellent - elegant and relaxing choice
Review 15:Loved the location...it was quiet but a very close walk to the town.
Review 16:Location
Review 17:Sometimes under-staffed - one poor lady doing everything.
Review 18:Fantastic location by the sea. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Review 19:Highly recommend this hotel. Right on the beach. Quiet, relaxing - peaceful. It was my favourite place in the 5 weeks I spent in Greece and Italy.
Review 20:The location right on the beach. Having breakfast under the trees in the garden. 7 min walk to the wonderful town of Naoussa.
Review 21:We loved this hotel. We upgraded to a sea facing suite which had just been refurbished. The hotel was pristine and the staff were all very attentive and delightful. No need for a pool as there is a lovely swimming beach right there. Also on the quieter side of town but just a short walk to all the lovely bars and restaurants in town.
Review 22:Many hotels and restaurants are closed in October because of low season, which means less to choose from.
Review 23:The location is superb just by the beach! We visited in October but the weather was great with 25 degees in the air, lots of sun and warm sea to swim in. A bit windy some days and some showers. There were not many tourists, so October is a good season fo visit Paros.
Review 24:The place is fantastic, near the beach and with a beautiful garden and a lot of space. Always very clean, with good and kind staff, specially Costas that is always ready to help you!
Review 25:Having to leave!
Review 26:Location, location, location and staff were fabulous. Just chilled and swam and enjoyed the sun. Lovely stroll to Naousa in the evening for a wide range of excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Idyllic and nothing less.
Review 27:Only the pillows.
Review 28:Location was great. Friendliness of the staff. The owner is very hospitable and takes the time to make everyone feel welcome. Wifi access ability is excellent. The rooms are simple and comfortable.
Review 29:the road direct on the hotel and beach could be very noisy in july,august....so better stay in may or septembre
Review 30:George(owner) and Elvira (reception) are very, very nice and always helpful. The hotel is direct on the beach with a lovely garden - great breakfast, near to the small harbour
Review 31:While it was a very good value, and the staff were very attentive, we would have appreciated a fresh pot of coffee in the mornings.
Review 32:This was a very welcoming, relaxed hotel. The rooms were lovely with perfect beach views. Ideal for the kind of quiet, low season budget holiday I was after. I would go again.
Review 33:Cats disturbing during meals
Review 34:Perfect location, friendly staff, clean rooms, in one word, this is theplace where you forget about the problems
Review 35:there was nothing to dislike.
Review 36:the extra efficiency and friendliness of the staff.
Review 37:the room was ok, but on the side of the street, to noisy. bad pillows and to small
Review 38:perfect to relax, nice sea view
Review 39:Nothing, but the place is for quiet people.
Review 40:Friendly atmosphere. Helpful staf. Garden by the sea. Eating breakfast out by the sea. View. Quiet.
