Review 3：Needs an eating area, big empty ground floor atrium so they have the space. Quite noisy so not the best if you're a light sleeper.

Wifi was free and very fast, amenities in bathroom were good, it was clean and very comfortable bed. 24 hour room service, food very good too and the staff were very courtious and helpful. They arranged our pick up from the airport and sightseeing trips with same driver who was very, very good.

Review 7：Bathroom is very small. The lane to the hotel is very conjusted. Price was high after they added tax etc. The tax inclusive price should be reflected while booking.

Review 10：You can feel the facilities are a bit old and need maintenance, but they're not horrible.

Review 11：The staff were super friendly and very helpful in organising transport to the golden temple and a driver to the Wagah border. The location was also good, a bit hidden from the main street, but quiet from all the chaos near the golden temple. Only 5-10 mins to the golden temple and about 100 rupees one way.

Holes in the ceiling(above seating area & bathroom) bathroom door rotting & full of mould.shower curtain covered in mould.Stair well on our floor full of rubbish, thank good the lift was working as there is no way we could use the stairs. 24 hour hotel kitchen 2 doors from our room on the 3rd floor (strange ) & very noisy(also hole in door to kitchen )

Review 68：Really friendly and helpful staff - when originally making the booking from the UK the hotel were really helpful with all our travel needs, including pick-up and drop-off at the airport. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by smiling faces and a very welcome drink. Everyone was so kind and helpful throughout our stay - arranging also a trip for us out to the border closing ceremony, which is well worth a visit! The hotel is just outside the main city centre but is in a good, quiet location - and its really easy to pick up a rickshaw outside. Being outside the centre its also easier to beat the traffic to get out to the airport when you leave. The room was really spacious, cool and comfortable. We also used the room service once for toasted sandwiches - which were really tasty! I would definitely recommend this hotel for the fab staff, comfortable and clean room and the value for money. I can't comment on wi-fi as I didn't have a need to use this.

The thing that made this hotel standout for us though was the amazing service! The guys at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly and being greeted by their lovely warm smiles everyday made this stay extra enjoyable. It is in a great location with a lovely little local night food market and plenty of shops and restaurants just around the corner. We also found the 2km walk to the Golden Temple really fun and exhilarating - through small crowded lanes of delicious Dhaba's and colourful clothes. I'd definitely recommend this place for your stay in Amritsar.

Review 80：This was my first visit to Amritsar and I will always remember this hotel ...Very close to the railway station,homely and quiet,pleasing decor,comfortable beds,cleanliness all at a budget price.Liked the empathy shown by the management towards my mother who has a knee problem.The manager went out of his way to try and help my mother suggesting a room on the ground floor..always smiling! Food too was very good esp the Poha and Amritsari poori for breakfast.Will definitely visit this hotel again in future and try more meals this time.

Review 92：Hong Kong Inn offers as good a service as hotels that charge twice the price, in my recent experience of travel in Northern India. I was only staying one night but spent the whole of the next day in Amritsar. The hotel stored my bags for the day and made a room available to me in the afternoon, just before I left, so I could take a shower before catching the train, at no extra cost. They also booked tours in the area for us at short notice, with no fuss, and the room service was very good. I would highly recommend staying here.
