Reviews for Nonna Nina
Review 1:The sound insulation is not good, with quiet neighbours we had no problems.
Review 2:The location 10 minutes from the centre square is excellent, snd parking is no problem and free. The rooms are simple but our room was very spacious, as was our bathroom. The roof terrace is very nice for breakfast - which is quite adequate and tasty. The best: very friendly family atmosphere and excellent care and advice by our young host.
Review 3:Good location close to the city center and not so far from the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Triple room was spacious and very clean. Easy parking.
Review 4:There is nothing to complain about the B&B, but Booking.com has the wrong address. The address Booking.com posts is a fish market around the corner from the entrance to the B&B.
Review 5:This is the absolute BEST B&B or hotel I've been to in 10 days in Sicily. It appears to be brand new. The proprietor told me my bathroom was only 10 months old, but the entire property looks new. The bedroom and bathroom are good sized. There was a large balcony off my room. There's a large armoire in the room. The B&B is perfectly organized---all 5 rooms on the 1st piano (2nd floor) and la sala di colazione is a large room on the top floor which has both an inside and outside area available. They allow you to help yourself to coffee at any time of day or night. The family that owns/runs the B&B is very helpful, especially Gaetano. He gave lots of advice on places to see and restaurants and his wife drove me to an enoteca when my GPS took me in the opposite direction. Super nice people. Breakfast includes a large variety of pastries, cakes, etc., but also meat, cheese and yogurt. Gaetano even make scrambled eggs with prosciutto today.
Review 6:Area seemed a bit scary at night but it was perfectly safe.
Review 7:Large room, simple but clean and comfortable. Parking outside in the street was plentiful and safe. 10 to 15 minute walk into the main square and about 5 to 10 mins to the beach. Breakfast was ok, the usual fare.
Review 8:As we arived earlier we have been trying to contact on given telephone numbers and no one was answering. So we had to wait for few hours outside as it was locked. Also the cleaniness of the room was not very good as there was dust all over the floor when we arrived. Plus they forgot to give bed linen for my brother's bed so he slept without any first night.. In general we were disappointed
Review 9:Close to city centre but on other hand our room was on the busy street side..The roof terrace may be nice but we did not have good weather at the time to use it.
Review 10:Everything! This was a really lovely place with a friendly, helpful family running it. We loved it and recommend it highly. We were given very helpful advice and the breakfast was delicious. The room was large, immaculate, and the larger than usual room fridge was really appreciated.
Review 11:Nice room, with comfortable bed; friendly and welcoming owner; very close to a great wine shop and pizzeria, and walking distance to a beautiful beach.

Review 32:Passed through Avola for the wines; wonderful! Try the Zibibbo and almond-infused Nero D'Avola. Quiet neighborhood. Great historic city.

Review 36:The best B&B I have ever stayed in...The owners are extremely kind and helpful, the room is very fresh and clean and smelled like fresh soap, bathroom very clean as well, they have also arranged a bike for me so I can go around the city, special thanks to Gaetano and his family, I will definitely come back!!!! ;o))
Review 37:There is no lift so if you have a lot of luggage or any difficulty with stairs it may be a struggle.
Review 38:Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were offered bacon and eggs for breakfast - we chose the pastries and fruit instead as the temp was in the mid 30s!! Free wifi always on and reliable. Good value for money.
Review 39:The selection for breakfast is quite wide though we were missing some other things than just sweet stuff. But that is pretty normal in Italy.
Review 40:Very nice B&B with extremely friendly owners. The building i very nicely done inside. We had a really nice room with big bathroom and huge balcony. There is also a large and nice roof terrace terrace where the breakfast is also being served.
Review 41:Very kind family! Nice, clean rooms, great breakfast with delicious pastry and cappuccino. Good location for visiting near by cities(Noto, Syracuse...), easy parking. Definitely recommended!
Review 42:we had no hot water in our room and there was no attempt to offer a solution and no discount given to remedy the situation. quite disappointing after such a great experience (other than no hot water in a beautifully renovated room)
