Review 1：Rooms are small. This is something which is undoable because it is how it is designed. But, also construct some bigger rooms and that can help.

Review 2：Overall stay was very comfortable and homely. The Chauffeur (Mr. Vicky) is a very humble gentleman and he has made us feel at home. Very nice person and genuinely shown us all the places and made us acquainted with the local culture. Hotel is excellent and best place to stay in Amritsar if you are a tourist.

Review 7：The level of respect me and my family got was amazing, some hotels that are 5 stars don't feel like one, but Hyatt does, I will return again with family very soon. My son was not feeling well so my check out time was extended until we left for our flight at 7pm and not the usual 12pm which was very useful.

Review 8：I have already mentioned above wht I didn't like. If you compare this property to Taj chandigarh forget about big cities...Hyatt Amritsar is not worth more than a 2 star hotel

Review 9：This hotel is really expensive for the ultra small rooms they have..baths r really small n no tubs either. There was no complementary breakfast even though it was so expensive. If i compare my stay with taj chandigarh it really value for. Atleast 2000rs less with breakfast and free wifi for two smart phn or any other gadget. hyatt had no free wifi. no newspaper in the morning where as all the 5starts have it. Worst was they had all Expiry date bathroom stuff in the bath. Including body lotions. They were not few weeks of thr expiry dates but more than a month Small little TV panel with very few channels

Review 10：- Front office and check in was very poor. Inspite of our arrival at 230pm and having requested for early check in, the rooms were not ready and we had to wait for 45+mins. to get our rooms.

Review 11：As per the reservation done through booking .com , i was cheated as the amount shown at the time of booking and the one charged to me was different . Other booking sites were offering much less amount Booking . Com is expensive No cushion is being given by this company to old customers

Review 12：1) the WC was dirty.. 2) the houskeeping staff after had to be called twice to do clean up of in room dining plates... 3) At the Breakfast table wanted to sit at a particular place which would take just 5mins to clean up.. But staff didnt do it and insisted to sit on some other table... Thats not nice in a five star category hotel. 4). Also i felt more priority & prferences are shown only to foreign tourist..

Review 16：There was a gasoline kind of smell in the corridor and room on both nights of the stay which they could not rectify, later I found out that it was because of painting of the staff escalator lobby, I wonder if the are using safe paints. Also they misplaced a part of my luggage at checkout, which was recovered after 15 minutes.

Review 32：Service lapses in Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, General Maintenance is poor. Minibar Fridge did not work, reported, not fixed. Stingy on giving extra tea bags/sugar. Though I am a repeat guest, there was ZERO recognition, even the Hyatt Gold Passport number I had given at Check-in, was never registered. This was my 4th stay in the hotel.

Review 50：Staff wasn't trained well to entertain guests at all, when we checked in, there was no one to at least offer us a glass of water or juice. It didn't felt at all that i am at Hyatt. No one accompanied us to our room or show is the way, we have to find that ourselves. The room service was so bad that we have to wait for at least 45 mins - 1 hr before they deliver anything that we ordered. The hotel staff was not at all trained to handle big mass in case the hotel is fully sold. All of them were confused as in what to do? I am still confused if this hotel is a part of HYATT GROUP or not, coz I had been to many hotels of this group and every where I found impressive hospitality.

It was very annoying that we had asked for a pool facing room and we got a lower grade room inspite of booking in advance since the hotel was almost sold out. If we had made a booking we should have got what we had booked. There were a lot of walkin customers being given preference over the pre booked customers

Review 62：I stayed @ Hyatt on 26-Jan. The room was good with a pool view. But there was some black material that was falling from the AC. I called the house keeping and they said they would fix the issue. We went sightseeing and returned in the night and dozed off as we were damn tired. Morning I get up and see that all my quilt and bed were covered with those black flakes from the AC. I would definitely not expect something of this sort from a hotel like Hyatt.

They goofed up my booking and gave me two twin beds instead of a king bed, then the room was stinking like a sewer which I complained of during the morning and they had nothing on offer until late at night the second day of my stay. And they actually charged me for this and offered the mandatory "we are extremely sorry for this maintenance issue".

I was particularly impressed by Avinash at the front desk who was not only professional but more importantly quick to understand my specific issues on two different matters and resolve them very efficiently.

Review 85：The check-in... in spite of booking a month in advance, the hotel didn't have information of our arrival and the front desk refused to check us in, after a 30min. Wait, finally, a Manager intervened & processed our paper-work. I suggest booking.com initiate a reminder process to the hotel as well, just as it reminds it's customers of upcoming stays!!

Review 89：I was on a bus headed to Amritsar. The driver's asst. came up to me and handed me his cell phone. Now that got my attention. Who in the world?? It was the Hyatt explaining that a driver would pick me up on the edge of town close to the hotel. NOW that's service!

One of the two double rooms booked had two single beds instead of a Queen Bed, this was not informed and was done to accommodate the request of an adjoining room, which is funny because no such information was shared earlier.
