Reviews for Case Di Latomie

Review 1:The towels were only changed every few days. We travelled with carry on luggage only so didn't take pool towels and these became quite grubby before they were changed.

Review 2:The staff were very friendly and helpful. Agreed that we could keep one of our rooms for a late check out on the day we flew at no extra cost. Good food, reasonable priced. Booked a massage which was great and wished we'd used the Spa facilities too (which you pay for at an additional cost).

Review 3:We stayed here Sept. 13 on our self planned trip of Sicily. Reception was very friendly and professional. Room was big, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the outside pool and the gardens around the property. There was a rich selection of food for breakfast. The menu for supper is different every day. The food is very tasty. We especially enjoyed an evening four course meal that their chef prepared. The location is ideal for visiting the temples in Selinunte.

Review 4:The manager was horrible. Got angry when we liked to see the bill while we were checking out. Was gossiping in Italian about her own guests. Paid a small fortune but we couldn't even have dinner outside. Someone who was turning 18 had a party with loud music, but their own hotel guests were not allowed in the garden. There is a bar, but you can't enjoy your drink outside. There were dog droppings in the grass and the beds are from the Roman empire. There is also only a day menu which is expensive and tasteless. The pictures are all nice, but can't live up to the expectations.

Review 5:Beds were not ideally organised, one on the base floor, 3 on the first floor. We had to reorganize them, so that the children could sleep together.

Review 6:Great pool! Area is perfect for a lot op trips nearby!

Review 7:on the Sunday night when we stayed there was a big outdoor party/reception by the pool, just a few metres from our room. The very loud live music went on until around 30 minutes past midnight and it sounded like the band was in our room with us! Staff were apologetic but no remedy or compensation offered. Tired the next day! Other than that, a good stay.

Review 8:Good location for Selinunte ruins. Well kept grounds. Nice swimming pool. Great breakfast: try the amazing hot chocolate!

Review 9:The room was pretty basic with cheap shower fittings and tiny cubicle. Not enough light to read in the evening. Too many rooms so the ambience of the oil estate was lost. Breakfast poor.

Review 10:The pools and setting. Dinner outside was nice but felt a bit packaged as there were so many people.

Review 11:The immediate location was disappointing, no views dark rooms and dull patio looking on to other peoples patios.

Review 12:The staff, swimming pools and food. The situation was very convenient for sightseeing and the property grew on one.

Review 13:They only have wifi at the reception. No help to carry the luggage's in spite very small stairs and no lift.

Review 14:Very nice location in the country side. Good restaurant with a very nice outdoor sitting. very quiet.

Review 15:Here are some opportunities for making Case di Latomie even better: - mattresses on sunbeds at the pool, just to be more comfortable - wifi at the pool, to avoid crowding the reception, the only place where wifi is available - more electric sockets in the rooms: 2 for 4 persons with phones/tablets or laptops is no longer sufficient! Keep up the good work!

Review 16:Everything! The location outside Castelvetrano, close to every nice place in Western Sicilia. A beautiful olive-tree plantation and a fabulous restaurant with produces of the house. Not to be missed. The pool is great and the owners are charming.

Review 17:Poor air conditioning. Noise until early hours of morning from party.

Review 18:The swimming pool

Review 19:Ideal solution for roundtrip:) nice enviroment

Review 20:Bad wifi. Bit shabby around the edges.

Review 21:Flexible and nice staff

Review 22:Poor maintenance

Review 23:pleasant country setting, quality and variety of food

Review 24:We had a super dinner and breakfast...

Review 25:noise from upper rooms poor breakfast for English visitors

Review 26:swimming pool location restaurant evening meals(but expensive)

Review 27:There was nothing not to like

Review 28:Great food - different menu every day Huge bedroom with rustic decor 2 pools Friendly and helpful jovial staff

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:Very clean rooms a, great service by staff, the breakfast and dinner were fantastic great home cooked meals.

Review 31:Very good atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful garden, clean swimingpool, great food!!!

Review 32:No issues really.

Review 33:All was just fine. Not spectacular but given the circumstances a perfect stay. Just heads up a car is a must.

Review 34:The hotel is in the middle of the country side. There are no towns within walking distance, so you really need a car. WiFi only available in the receptiondesk area. During our stay it was not possible to pay with credit cards as the phone lines were down. Cash only. It seems to occur frequently.

Review 35:Nice accomodation, which is part of an olive farm. The rooms are very big and offered all the comfort we needed. All rooms are in separate small houses with a terrace. There are two swimming pools available. The breakfast buffet was also very good. We ate in their own restaurant which offes all kinds of typical Sycillian products

Review 36:The grounds were a bit unkempt. One pool wasn't open and the hot tub wasn't open and looked like it wouldn't be open and hadn't been open in years.

Review 37:The location close to the Archeological Site was ideal. It was very quiet and peaceful. The dinners at Casa di Latomie were wonderful, and that is good since there isn't much of anything else around.

Review 38:Breakfast was a (like all italian breakfasts) small and not interesting. Wifi only at the reception

Review 39:Clean and quiet. Outside the city on the way to Selinunte.

Review 40:We found it hard to find as there were no signs leading to it. We eventually found it more by chance than planning.

Review 41:Loved the location, in the middle of olive and orange groves, well away from the madding crowd. Within very easy reach of Selinunte which was the point of our visit to the area. Fixed dinner menu was delicious and plentiful. Continental breakfast with fresh pastries, excellent coffee and freshly squeezed juice.

Review 42:The bathroom was a little bit poor, without any kind of decoration.

Review 43:The staff was very kind and attentive. They even sent me my ID to another hotel because I lost it and all this without charge. I think it could be a good place to go in a family trip, specially if you like the countryside.

Review 44:Off the beaten path for sight seers but a great destination for a leisurely get away.

Review 45:Room was comfortable and pretty. Gourmet restaurant on premises. Good breakfast.

Review 46:Shower screen flimsy and needed a good scrub! Sun beds by pool dusty -windy area so should have been cleaned daily - also no cushions for themso very uncomfortable. Dinner totally unsuitable for vegetarians despiterequesting one in advance.

Review 47:Spacious room in a very quiet location amongst large olive groves. Nicepool areas (2).

Review 48:N/A

Review 49:it was easy very user friendly. relaxing atmosphere. Close enough to the sites without being stuck in the hastle of narrow streets and scooters.

Review 50:Dinner is imposed by the hotel and does - unfortunally - not meet the standards the hotel pretends to maintain. Bad food and even worse wine

Review 51:Location on the olive farm is nice. Lot of space around with swimming pool and animal farm

Review 52:Slight issues were the traffic noise during the morning (but my son and wife said that they didn't notice it) and lack of Wi-Fi in rooms. However Wi-Fi was available in reception area and was OK in terms of speed and stability.

Review 53:The design of the place built on different levels with two pools looks great and offers a number of different places to relax, chill out and to enjoy the sun. The area is beautifully landscaped with really well looked after gardens filled with interesting flowers and a wide collection of cactii. Our flight arrived late but after speaking to them they put some food aside for us. We arrived and were taken straight into the restaurant and then served some of the best food I have ever had all washed down with some very nice red wine. All in all a lovely stay only let down for the first time ever in Sicily by the lack of sun!!

Review 54:Fantastic place, near the beach with a lovely swimming pool and good sized rooms. The staff were very helpful and the food fantastic, thoroughly recommend it!

Review 55:Very nice environment , peaceful. The place is an hacienda among olivetrees. Do not expect modern design here. Employees are very kind . Irecommend the restaurant for the dinner.

Review 56:Beautiful nature around Hotel, big territory, one of the best olive oil, great food

Review 57:The room was a bit cold

Review 58:Almost everything

Review 59:An Execelent place for travellers. We have enjoyed a lot our staying. The place to be highly recomanded.

Review 60:-rooms are very old -bathroom very small

Review 61:the dinner was very nice

Review 62:Lovely setting amidst the family's olive groves. Peaceful haven. Excellent food, very good value

Review 63:Directions to the property are very limited.

Review 64:Location and good food.

Review 65:Un menu gastronomique abordable. La beauté des jardins. L'esprit de famille. L'accueil chaleureux. Les produits maison délicieux.
