Review 1：We did not have any bad experiences. But It may be useful to know that the hotel is set on a hill, (but there are lifts to reach every level without using the stairs and the views were amazing so I personally don,t see this as a disadvantage!).

Review 2：We enjoyed our stay at Rethymno Mare, the hotel is beautifully set and kept clean and tidy, the staff are fantastic , very friendly and helpful - all of them. we had a family room, which was a great size for the four of us with proper beds for everyone and two bedrooms, the views from the balcony was amazing, also the room had both a bath and shower. The food was always well cooked and and lots of choice available, as well as snacks and drinks made available during the day. We thought the all inclusive option we took was excellent value. The beach is lovely and the pool a good size, the entertainers good. We particularly like the food and drink service to the hotel customers on the beach, a waiter bought down trays of fruit and various drinks from the hotel regulalrly throughout the day. We would definately return. We hired a car for a couple of days to visit places further a field. The hotel has contacts which proved to be very good value. It may be useful to know that the hotel is set on a hill, (but there are lifts to reach every level without using the stairs and the views were amazing!).
