Review 1：Very homely and warm hostel, with spacious dormitories and a kitchen and living area to hang out. Damien and Anna are the friendly couple who run this hostel and made my stay a really enjoyable one. The coffee and tea and various spices provided in the kitchen is a bonus, there's hot showers and good wifi - all in all, it's just a really nice and friendly hostel. Karlovac is one of the gateways to Plitvice which is about 1 hour away by bus. There are many bus companies that serve the Karlovac-Plitvice route so short of paying for the expensive hotels at Plitivce, staying at Karlovac is probably the better choice for backpackers. Hostel Na Putu is just a five minute walk from the bus station and makes a fantastic base to explore Plitvice, one of the must see sights in Croatia. A highly recommended hostel!
Review 2：The best hostel I have ever been to :-) modern interier in historical building, very kind owners, clean, in the city centre - I strongly recommend and dont forget try local beer - Karlovačko :-)
Review 3：The managers of the place are very friendly and really got involved with the travellers. They were very helpful with information. The place is central and very near to the bus terminal and train station. Everything is close by.
Review 4：The hostel is very spacious, there's lots of room in the dorm. It's nicely decorated and very clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. It's a good location, close to a supermarket, short walk to the bus and train stations and within walking distance to everything to see in town.
Review 5：It's a shame the locals aren't as friendly as the staff at the hostel. I found Karlovac to be the unfriendliest place I've been to in Croatia. This may have just been my experience as a female, solo traveller and obviously has no reflection on the hostel, but worth mentioning to see if anyone else experienced this?
Review 6：The couple who run this hostel are so friendly, informative and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay a positive one. The large kitchen/common area is fully equipped and has free tea and coffee. Large comfortable dorms too.

Review 9：The only hostel in little known and visited Karlovac, run by Irish and Croatian husband and wife Damion and Anna, they made our stay there fabulous. The hostel was central and perfect. the sites unusual and different from the tourist path. the local restaurants are the best food we have eaten in Croatia. cannot rate our stay high enough.
