Review 1：There's many clubs around hostel. During night time very noisy. But good for single man. always no hot water can't take shower or only less 5mins hot water than change to very very cold water. Very cold in the room also. and Not so clean...

Review 2：For the kind of price you pay you should not expect much, so fine, but showers were not the best to put it that way...

Review 3：The location is right in the happening area so for partytime it is good. I also liked the price, but realized that at this time of the year (November) you can get a room for almost nothing without sharing. The wifi was very good.

Review 10：I have booked the hostel one month in advance. My friend and I we were arriving at the different time during the day. First thing was that the reception was open from 19:00 (on the reservation is check-in from 14:00 to 00:00)! Second when my friend came again to the hostel after 19:00 she presented the reservation and she been told that they are full anyway and they arranged for us different hostel on the same street!!!! The room in the other hostel didn't have even a window! Unbelievable customer service!!!

Review 15：The position of this hostel in Saint julian's is really good, in front of the hostel there is a market, many bars and discos and the bus stop is really close, less than five minutes walking. In the corner there are also taxis. The kitchen is clean, the wi fi works very well and the staff is kind.

Review 18：When you check the cash demand, explaining the cards they accept only reservation Terms awful, air conditioning was not working, fan creaked badly. A lot of big cockroaches. Once settled into the wrong room, the guests constantly move from room to room. Living people at any time, as staff thumps until morning. Evicted on schedule, which is written by hand. during the eviction of mortgage money was not returned, told to wait an hour.

Review 19：The hostel is an experience by itself. Cosy and in the middle of the fun adds to the travel a warm thought of vacation and sweet friendly life. If you want to feel alive and make friends you need to choose it and you can easely call it home for your stay in paceville.

The rooms were not well air conditioned, no safe to lock away valuables in my room, no 'tour desk' as led to believe from the website and the room door didn't automatically lock when closed and payment had to be made in cash which was also not correctly advertised.

Review 26：It was a cheap place to stay with a relatively clean kitchen. A taxi was organised for my pick up and transport options back to the airport were provided. Most of the staff were friendly though not necessarily knowledgeable about the area/things to do or getting around.

Review 30：The staff did not know much English, it was hard to communicate. I was messed around at first as the lady in the bed before me didn't check out so I couldn't relax after my flight, after about 30 mins they moved me to another room then moved me to one more, the air conditioning did not work at first and we had one fan between 4 people which wasn't enough, I wasn't given a sheet to sleep under so I made do with my towel. I know they can't do much about the cleanliness because theres usually at least one person in each room and they try not to disturb, but under my bed and to the side it was completely black with dust and dirt.

Review 32：Photos do not represent hostel at all. Extremely loud and you can always hear people talking in the halls and stairwells. Shower was filthy and staff were nice but disorganised. If you take a good pair of earplugs and don't mind disorder it's fine...

Review 39：Don't trust the pics on the website. Dirty rooms and bathrooms. Very loud location right next to strip bars and night clubs. Ugly and dirty part of town. There are much nicer parts of the island closer to more sophisticated bars and restaurants. Staff were too lazy to replace toilet paper and soap or clean the rooms properly.

Review 40：The facility should be renewed a bit and bathrooms need a fresh look (found a cockroach); staff should know which bed they will give you (as soon as I enter in my room there was no bed available even if it was guest's fault). By the way above the average if you're not so fussy.

Review 41：The location is perfect, you've everything you need just few steps outside the Hostel, st. george's bay and its beach it's less than 10 minuites by walk, during the night it's very loud so if you like to sleep without noise I would not recommend this for you.

Review 51：they should introduce 24 hour reception. I arrived just after 1am only to find out they key I was given did not work on the front door. I had to wait around until someone came by. A guy who was clearly drunk finally came around and was staying at the hostel, he then asked me to sneak into his room - i later found out he was from reception.I was totally disgusted. I wouldn't recommend this hostel for solo female travellers.

Review 52：it was clean, wifi was excellent, comfy bed definitely worth every penny

Review 53：We had a bed that was damaged a drawer was put under it to keep it steady, the bed sheets were not clean enough, the balcony was very filthy, the drawers inside were dirty, there was a smell of cigarette smoke on the beds and in the air. Guess that is what you get for a mere 36 euros.

Review 55：- No heating - we could see our breath in the room.- the staff go missing regularly and there are long waits for them to turn up - overbooked the first night and moved around the hostel being told our room would be ready and then being given a later time we would get into our room. eventually it took a whole day. - The location attracts a bit of a weird crowd, most people seemed nice but there were a few odd characters.

Review 61：Reception hours - only open for short periods of time and very inconvenient. Could not check out on time for morning flight because there was no one available for check out at 8:30am. Must check out because you have to get your deposit back. Please do not have deposit system if you don't have someone available for check-ins and outs. Location is surrounded by clubs and will be loud.

Review 63：the hostel is in the center of the night life in Malta, very close (3 min walk) from the last bus station to airport (X2), 5 min walk from 2 nice beaches. Sliema is close on foot and quite OK direct bus connection with Valletta. Both receptions are really pleasant and helpfull, bearing in mind that this is hostel- very clean. The bed is very confortable. Excelent Wifi connection.

Review 66：It was dirty, bugs was falling from the window, there was no view from the window but next wall with mains. It was very laud even after closing the window. Bathroom was dirty and badly smelling.

Review 69：the staff was nice and helpful and the hostel was surprisingly good for the cheap price. i slept really confortably and deeply despite the noise outside. it was clean, in the limits of an hostel. the position is great: in the center of the night life in malta, not far from valletta so during the day was really easy to move with public transports. at the end i can say that i had a great time in malta, and if i'll ever come again i will definitely sleep there!

Review 71：I liked the price, location, roofterrace, beds. (no bunkbeds, but big nice single beds) extra fan in the room. Some people complain that it is noisy. And yes, you hear a lot of noice from outside, but i found it more easy to sleep through than the "normal" noice of other people in some hostels. And in the morning the street outside doesnt have too much traffic.

Review 72：it was very uncomfortable and the we stayed no sunshıneand no fresh aır so dcided to leave early and and they charged us for extra 2 days we didnt spend there.

Review 73：There were several technical problems, some were not solved during our whole stay and it is not possible to reach staff during night hours. The only view was to a neighbor having a shower and we had a cockroach in our room. And some mold in the shower. Still in overall we had a quite pleasant stay.

Review 74：Both the cleaning guy and receptionists were very nice and helpful. It is located in the middle of Paceville party area but not too noisy. Rooms look quite fresh and spacious and wifi in our room was excellent.

Review 75：Hostel right in the middle of the going out area. Music is blasting through the windows until early in the morning. No A/C. Not sure if it was a mistake, but my bed sheets were used and were quite dirty from the previous person. I didn't notice until I went to sleep, so I had to make do. No common area our lounge like other hostels. Just a small kitchen. Overall an old and dirty feeling hostel. Found a much better one for the next day.

WiFi didn't work when I was there. Told reception about it, he turned the switch on and off twice! And just left the password of the WiFi with me for me to figure it out. No initiative to fix the problem. Was supposed to stay for 2 nights, I left after 1 night. With the amount of $$ you're paying, no value for your money.

Review 82：Located in the middle of the bars in St Julians and shops etc. If you're here to party and crash and don't mind the heat, it's perfect. Other than that, not recommended.

Review 93：I found this hostel very friendly and so comfort to live and spend my holidays. First of all, the owners and the staff are great, very polite, smily and well-wishing. Everywhere is very clean and you have 3 bathrooms on each floor. Second is location. It is situated exactly in St. Julians, in several steps to Malta's night life district Paceville, abbreviated PV =) So if you don't care about noises, it is a perfect place to stay. Actually it is possible to take ear plugs but i fall asleep so fast and absolutely nothing could disturb it. A beach and several bays are in some minutes walking distance (5 min), a market is just next door. But if you want to go to the bigger one, staff will help you to find it. And definitely you will meet so many good people there!
