Review 1：The carpets were stained and needed cleaning and the hair dryer in the bathroom wasn't working. 537 The walls need repainting in the breakfast room and a little upkeep to the building would make it more appealing.

Review 3：The hosting family was wonderful, cheerful and friendly. The rooms clean and comfy and the atmosphere was warm even on a cold October day. The experience was of the highest quality. Even though we had to leave at 6am and were the only guests, the host prepared breakfast just for us at that early hour. We were delighted :-) Keep up the good service.

Review 16：We liked that it wasn't the typical resort type hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful and the food was very good. The hotel is older but the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning which is very important to me, was wonderful, there was refrigerator available, TV, desk, etc. I generally like newer hotels but while traveling in Croatia, Zganger seemed more authenic. I would also recommend this hotel for location to Plitvicka National Park (about 1 hour & 45 minutes to Zagreb airport). We visited the park on the last full day in Croatia. Overall, very good hotel for the money-paid $540 for 3 rooms for 2 nights total!.

Review 18：The location is close to Plitvice Lakes National Park and just outside Karlovac. There is a Baltic war memorial (old HQ building, weapons, tanks etc) only a few kilometers north on the same main road. Staff was very helpful, food was good.

Cook downstairs was preparing meatwith such a rumble. No internet connection in the room. All in all not agood place even for one night sleepover.
