Reviews for Hotel Olympic
Review 1:The price was a bit high for such a hotel but considering the season and the location it was not that bad
Review 2:Very friendly owner and very clean and well maintained hotel the Jacuzzi was good, location was nice.
Review 3:Very quiet and clean hotel. The view is amazing. Bed was very comfortable and we had a good night rest. A staff is very pleasant and helpful. It's a pity that we stayed only for one night in this hotel and beautiful Metsovo.
Review 4:An old, traditional, house converted into a nice hotel. The hotel offers a relaxing outdoor space in the garden. It is located very close to the center, shops and sights. The staff are welcoming and very careful about clients' needs.
Review 5:for technical reasons I couldn't pay with my credit card.
Review 6:Very friendly and helpful staff at this family owned hotel. Comfortable rooms and beds, good wifi. Good value for money.
Review 7:Very quiet room with views over the mountains, comfortable mattresses and bathroom. Extra blankets in the cupboard were very welcome. Easy to explore the lovely traditional village of Metsovo from there. The hotel is close to the village square where there is a fresh produce market on Saturdays. The hotel entrance is on a cobbled road close to the church.
Review 8:1) There is no elevator in the hotel which makes access to people with special needs difficult. 2) Just like most hotels in the area, the hotel doesn't have its own parking so you need to park in the public parking. It's just 2 mins away but it may be hard for you to park there during high season.
Review 9:Excellent choice and great value for money! I would definitely visit it again. 1) It is obvious that the hotel was recently renovated. The bathroom, the bed, the furniture and everything in the hotel was brand new! 2) It is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been. 3) The staff and the owners were very polite and friendly, willing to help us, guide us and provide us info for things to do in Metsovo. 4) The view to the mountains is spectacular and you can't stop starring at them. 5) Despite the (really) cold weather our room was always warm and we never felt uncomfortable.
Review 10:Negotiating my heavily loaded motorbike down the steep lane to the hotel was, shall we say unnerving, and I wouldn't do it again. Really it was my mistake for arriving after dark in late October
Review 11:I like it as soon as I saw the front of the building and it just got better and better. I will definitely be back. I have been on an 8 week bike trip across Europe including Scotland; England; France; Belgium; Holland; Germany; Switzerland; Italy; Greece; Albania; Montenegro; Croatia and Slovenia staying in hotels; B&Bs and camping. This hotel is right at the top of my list along with an outstanding B&B in Lincoln that I stumbled upon quite by chance. 11 out if 12 for me.
Review 12:The shower was very small, and with the sliding glass doors that did not seal well, water went everywhere.
Review 13:Metsovo is a wonderful village and a delightful place to stay. We were fortunate to be there for the Saturday morning market, where older villagers in traditional dress do their weekly shopping. The hotel is nicely furnished and decorated. We spent some time in the reception area the evening we were there (wifi reception better there), and the host provided us with complimentary tsipouro. He also prepared a wonderful, varied breakfast. A great hotel value--the least expensive place we stayed in Greece.
Review 14:Beautiful view, friendly staff, excellent wifi, felt like home.
Review 15:None
Review 16:Suite with jacuzzi was very affordable compared to other hotels.
Review 17:nothing
Review 18:just perfect
Review 19:The staff was most friendly, clean room, delicious breakfast, nice room with a wonderful view!
Review 20:Nothing I didn't like.
Review 21:The room, the decoration , the staff
Review 22:Everything was better then advertised!
Review 23:limited access by car, however parking was OK
Review 24:kind people managing the hotel breakfast very good silent location
Review 25:- hard to reach with luggages (no car) - no electrical outlet available (we had to switch off the TV to charge the phone batteries)
Review 26:- outstanding view from the room on mountains - very large room with 2 balconies - jacuzzi in the bathroom - well equipped (airco, fridge) and well-decorated - very clean and comfortable room - exceptional breakfast - very good value for price
Review 27:If I'm picky I would suggest the provision of glasses in the rooms so guests can have a glass of water by their bedside, at night.
Review 28:This was our second visit - previously in the summer, now in the winter. The location of the Olympic within the village is wonderful ie close to the center, and its location in relation to the countryside is fantastic in winter for skiing and summer for walks.
Review 29:We enjoyed our stay! :)
