Review 1：Wifi was not very strong in the bedrooms. You had to sit in the living room to connect.

Review 5：Nicely located just outside the center of Karlovac, the hotel offers a luxurious stay with a nice view, yet close to the city center. Friendly service and a good meal. And, airconditioning (at 35 degrees centigrade) Also great with kids, close to water.

Review 8：We expected something of the medieval old town of Karlovac. Very disappointed there! Most houses are boarded up and it is lifeless. It would have real potential if sonebody put their minds to it.

Review 12：Room was spacious and overlooked a lovely park. We had a sweet balcony which we enjoyed, but the room location was noisy at night as it was over the entrance. Property was right on the river which was flooded from recent rains. Setting would be much nicer in season with outdoor facilities open.

Review 13：Wi-fi was advertised but it did not work. That was critical to our stay since we needed to access a special broadcast during our stay. Also workmen right outside our window with loud drills, etc that continued a bit after dark.

Review 15：My wife and i were on our honeymoon and traveling around Europe. We booked this hotel months in advance and there was a screaming concert right next to the hotel. US and other guests were very upset and found out that this happens 3 times a month. So if your staying there check and see if your stay lands on the concert. It goes until 4:30am. We and others staying there should of gotten a email explaining there was a concert.

Review 16：Karlovac is not a destination in itself. Grounds landscaping looks neglected.

Review 17：Staff was very accommodating, especially Nemad. They had made an error in type of room we reserved, but corrected it promptly. Good stopping point not far from highway on the way to Plitvica National Park. Good breakfast attractively presented in room with river view

Review 18：Smell from bins (especially on our day/evening of arrival). Problem with our pre-booked room meant we were given a cheaper room and we did have to query this in order to get the reduced price.

Review 49：A lovely hotel set in a park on the banks of a river. Our room was very nice - a bit of luxury for our last night in Croatia! The beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to hear the river. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant - both great meals and very generous! We were able to check in early which was much appreciated. A great end to our amazing trip!

Review 62：What a glorious hotel located right next to a gorgeous park. We wereupgraded to a suite with a balcony overlooking both the park and theriver. It's in a great location to walk through the adjacent park ora 15 minute walk to the town where we watched the bonfire/fireworksshow for St. John's Day. The hotel restaurant served a great dinnerand a terrific buffet breakfast! All of the staff was incredibly helpfuland friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Review 69：We really enoyed the location of the Hotel Korana. We had been traveling for about 5 weeks in Croatia and this was a place we probably would have liked to use to just "take a breath". It was so lovely and peaceful though I don't know how it would be in summer. We loved the history of the area and drove to see the war memorial a couple of miles down the road. Rounding the bend and coming upon the "old Korana" ruins was indeed quite something. The staff provided excellent service. When in the area again, we would definitely return.

About an hour driving distance from Plitvitze . The hotel people were very helpful and responsive to all my request via email before I arrived … It was the best hotel in this trip.

Vegetables were frozen not fresh. In a land ofgreat, inexpensive red wine look out for the (suggested) $50 us perbottle house wine.

Review 75：The room we got did not suit us! Was in the attic, although a large room with King Size Bed, but with a low ceiling, we could not walk freely. Every time we walked in, we got hit in the head. Room was hot and the air conditioner does not refrigerator properly and also made us sound like a tractor. No curtains on the windows and the light in front of the eye was wake us at six in the morning
