Review 2:Mel is very friendly nothing to much trouble, even coming out to greet us at the car on arrival. Bedroom comfortable, plenty of room and every need catered for. Excellent breakfast choice.

Review 3:Very friendly service. Accomodation was very good and very clean. Breakfast was excellant. Mel could not do enough for us. Had a fantastic stay, would highly recommend this little gem. Lesley Jordan

Review 4:The short walk back from the friendly local pub, could have stayed there all night!

Review 5:Lovely, friendly landlady - couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent room (if only a little warm) comfortable and very clean. This is our third visit in recent years and we will certainly visit again.

Review 6:I asked that a friend could share the room and was surprised to find there was an extra charge of 24£ for her staying. However the breakfast was included in this.

Review 7:The staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast superb.

Review 8:Leaving. If I had the time I would have stayed longer and will most definitely use the Hatfield Guest House if I return to Telford.

Review 9:I was welcome and made to feel that my needs and stay were important. The facilities were superb, really comfortable and attention to detail was clearly evident.

Review 10:This was my fourth stay at Hartfield Guest House in five years. It is fantastic that they keep their very high standard. The rooms look nice and are very clean. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding.

Review 11:Not too bad a problem, but TV in my room (Room 4) was difficult to navigate between channels and the signal was intermittent and kept going off; signal was then lost completely after 21:15.

Review 12:Very clean, attractive and comfortable bedroom and the same could be said of the dining room and reception areas. Good breakfast.

Review 13:The enthusiasm and helpfulness of our hostess was first class. Our room had a great rural outlook. Having an "honesty" system bar was very much appreciated, and the breakfast was great.

Review 14:Dragging oneself away

Review 15:Very warm welcome, big spacious room, great shower, faultless presentation, good selection of tea/coffee/biscuits in room, lovely breakfasts, secure gated parking, strong WiFi signal in room, many interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. Not one single fault found - magnificent

Review 16:There were no problems at all.

Review 17:Mel, the owner, was extremely helpful and a most pleasant person. Nothing was too much for her to help out. Our room impressed us at first sight. It was large, attractively furnished with ample amenities. Everything we needed was there. Outside there were plenty of areas equipped with garden chairs and garden sofas to allow guests to relax and enjoy the sun and the magnificent view. The breakfast area was spacious with an attached socialising area with a bar and television. The breakfasts were marvellous with a wide selection of cereals and drinks to have before a good hot breakfast menu. No trouble ordering more toast or tea/coffee. The guest house was far better than many hotels we have stayed in. When we return to the area, we will have no hesitation to go back.

Review 18:No problems

Review 19:Very clean and spacious; well appointed room with decked veranda; very friendly host; good location; excellent breakfast; ample secure parking

Review 20:Nothing

Review 21:The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in. It usually takes me a couple of nights to settle in but I slept well on the 1st night. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely - highly recommend

Review 22:Just too hot, air conditioning in room didn't seem to be very cool, but I always overheat so could just be me!

Review 23:Lovely lady, lovely little dog, fantastic room, very pretty courtyard, good breakfasts, everything has been catered for.

Review 24:The white hart in ironbridge could learn a thing or too on hospitality from Mel and Jason. My only other complaint is that it all went too quickly!!

Review 25:Mel and Jason were impeccable hosts they were a joy to speak to. Nothing was too much trouble.

Review 26:Room was lush and sitting out on the balcony in the sunny weather was a treat Mel was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble Breakfast was yummy and plentiful

Review 27:I absolutely loved everything! The house is gorgeous set in beautiful grounds. Everything spotlessly clean. Superb breakfast. An added bonus was air con in bedroom! Mel the owner was lovely and very helpful.

Review 28:Not really anything. The only thing I would say was the bracket that the TV was on was a bit loose.

Review 29:The room was lovely and big with a lounge area and walk in wardrobe. The wet room was also very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. All in all the place was lovely and welcoming.

Review 33:Clean large room, especially the nice bathtub and shower. The welcoming package was appreciated. Mel made us feel at home. She was helpful with directions. The breakfast was tasty and filling. Thanks Mel for making our stay so good.

Review 34:No hair dryer, telly too small and had to go through re-tune every time it was switched on.

Review 35:Safe secure parking, cleanliness all round, room size, food, friendliness of staff. price.

Review 36:The bed did not have a sheet between the throw over and bed, the throw over and carpets in the room needed to smell fresher . The room was too hot and had a headache. The breakfast would have been nice if I was asked what I would like instead of assuming. 2 eggs would have been nice on a vegetarian choice .

Review 37:The room size the bathroom and the remoteness and the host was warm and friendly.

Review 38:Nothing!!

Review 39:Excellent, friendly place to stay. Rooms were spotless & very comfortable, bed was great. Jason was a great host, nothing was too much trouble & went to great lengths to ensure we had a very good stay. Will definately be staying there again.

Review 44:We had a 5 hr journey to get to Telford from Cornwall and were met with a great welcome, very friendly owners that went out if their way to show us around and make sure we were happy with everything. There room had lots of little thoughtful extras that made the difference. Far more homely than chain hotels!!

Review 45:Cant praise enough. By far the best place we've ever stayed. Made very welcome. Was very friendly. Facilities excellent and a superb breakfast. Cant praise enough.

Review 46:Location is perfect for Ironbridge and Telford. This is the 3rd time I have stayed and the owners cannot do enough to make your stay truly wonderful. High quality accommodation, superb food. A must stay if you are in the area !!!!

Review 47:I liked the location and it has lovely surroundings, Mel the owner was very welcoming and helpful the room was fantastic and I had an excellent nights sleep and the breakfast was very good I enjoyed my stay there.

Review 48:The furry trim on the lampshade - can't think of anything else!

Review 49:Plush decor, verging on the kitsch but makes you feel happy to be staying there and so comfortable. The landlady went out of her way to be helpful when we had an early start on our second morning with cooked breakfasts on the table as our crew arrived for breakfast. Brilliant! Close to the town centre but in an entirely rural location. Everyone was grateful that I chose it. Full marks.

Review 50:This was my third stay in 5 years. I was happy to see that they maintain their very high Standard. The personal is very friendly and helpful. Staying at Hartfield Guest House is like coming home.

Review 51:Nothing.

A fantastic location, and a very safe gated property. We would not hesitate to recommend, and will definitely return. 10 out of 10.

Review 57:A little difficult to find but staff txt the directions.

Review 58:Fabulous large comfortable bed and room with large walk in shower. Great breakfast and little bar which I didn't discover until the next morning. Even a Jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Review 59:The only thing was that the house was a bit hard for us to find initially, but if you use a Satnav (which we didn't have on our motorcycle), it should not be a problem. Other than that, everything for us was "perfection"

Review 60:Very friendly welcome from Mel (the owner). Lovely house in a lovely setting. Very nice spacious room. Good views across the countryside from the room window. Very nice dining room and bar with large screen sky tv. Evening meals available. A breakfast cooked to perfection. Very highly recommended, and will definitely visit again. Review 64:Friendly lady who works hard very clean. Bed was very large

Review 65:Tiny niggles only - would have preferred a jug of fresh milk with hospitality tray. And a pot of jam rather than individual plastic tubs. That's about it, and I feel mean mentioning it because everything else was so wonderful.

Review 66:Lovely landlady, permanently cheerful; fantastic breakfast and somehow although she was rushed off her feet, everything was perfect, even the scrambled eggs ( not easy). Loved the bar as well and the room was beautifully clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed.

Review 67:there wasn't anything which struck a wrong note.

Review 68:we liked the friendliness, the willingness to do everything in Mel and Jason's power to look after us, we felt like close family, striving to make us comfortable and relax, nothing was too much trouble,

Review 69:Extremely warm welcome from Mel who was very chatty and when we told her the purpose of our visit she wrote down directions for us from the hotel to the venue of the music festivals being attended by the two girls. Booked family room which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Would definately recommend

Review 70:The only feedback we would suggest is that the TV in the room needs repositioning and possibly updating as the free view signal was poor. We reverted to watching the iPad instead. That said it was raining heavily that evening!

Review 71:Everything! We received a very warm welcome which was much appreciated after a very long drive! Our room which had private access onto a decked area with seating was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We brought our dog along so this room was perfect. The facilities are excellent and quite a surprise for the money. Nothing too much trouble for Mel and the breakfast was lovely. We all had a very happy stay.
