Review 1：Wi-fi connections in the room were sporadic and intermittent.

Review 5：Room cleanness could get better. Did not make me feel like I was at one of the best hotels in Batam. Even the shower floor has simply faulty design that a drain was on the highest point of the shower booth floor, leaving a big puddle and creating mess after shower. The AC was so loud and made it hard to fall asleep while leaving it on.

Review 9：Wifi was quite slow ..it could be better if the wifi could get an upgrade especially during peak period and public holidays where most of the guest are using the wifi connection and we couldn't get a satisfying connection and the wifi signal keep disappearing when not in use even for like 5 mins after i lock my phone ..and the staff in Harris hotel batam centre did not tag our bags properly which lead to having me left behind one of my bags in the store room where the staff place the guest bags and luggages in ..disappointed in how they handle our bags and end up to not getting all of my item back with me ..they even doubt when my mum wanted to take one of our own plastic bag (which the staff did not tag with the same number with the rest of our bags and luggages) . I hope something can be done with the baggage system in the hotel or at least the staff could double check that they have given us the correct tag for the correct luggages so that such incident could be avoided. Could have a shuttle service to a few malls other than mega mall only.

Review 10：Staff was really friendly ..it was my third time staying at Harris hotel batam centre ..left a bag behind and they gladly helped to check for my item eventhough i was back in singapore ..great service from Ana from Harris hotel batam centre who took the trouble to look for my missing item and she get back to me as soon as she could ..thumbs up for the great service

Review 11：The pillow is too soft and thin. It feels like as if I am not sleeping on a pillow at all. The basin is a little dirty for my room. Morning breakfast buffet was a mess because there are too many guests but too little tables available and I need to scramble to get a seat.

Review 12：The location. Right beside the Batam Center Ferry Terminal and it is near to Nagoya Hill too. Staffs are polite and always putting on a smile.

Breakfast is a decent spread with more of their local cuisine. Love their tradition of having their staff dance performance in the midst of breakfast, it really enhance your mood for the moving.

Review 15：The rooms are spacious, bed is so comfortable and all rooms views amazing. Swimmers are provided with free flow towels and flip flop from hotel rooms. Provides toilet too. Able to provide 2 out of 7 rooms available before 2pm. Thumbs up!

Review 16：The service staff in the cafe may take eons to serve the food order. The Wi-Fi of the hotel sucks big time. The bandwidth was barely 1Mbps and we couldn't do a decent Skype video call.

Review 22：Marvelous seaview from the room's wide windows :) The hotel's citrusy theme colors was welcoming and refreshing..and the aromatherapy oil and burner was a lovely touch :) TV has all my favourite cable channels :)

Review 23：Requested for a connecting room as i was with my kids.But though i was assured by the staff whombi called before i checked in fews days before & the day before arrival that i will get the connecting rooms.. the staff at the counter told there was no connecting room available. But suprisingly... after we demanded & raised our voices which i felt was not neccessary, we got the connecting rooms. Weird. Not sure how they managed to get the rooms which there did not have initially. Another was i requested a transport from batam centre ferry terminal which they informed was not far so nobtransport was provided. I was with 2 very young kids. There could have given a transport as its very near. The traffic was very heavy & sometimes its difficult to just walk with 2 kids & luggage. Thirdly... the breakfast buffet was very bad. Not up to a 4 star hotel standard.

Very near batam center ferry terminal and just across megamart. 3 days 2 night stay there and the 2nd day the staff help us to tidy our room and arrange really nicely. Review 41：Room is not good in sound block insulator and I don't like the transportation. No good taxi with Argo meter in Harris. I can not order another taxi which is reputable..when I'm going to barelang I order reputable taxi but I must walk outside the property. I really do not like it. If you just stay during weekend and do not have a plans to go outside the property..it is OK. If you want to go to the city center like Nagoya or you want to explore Batam .. Then you Better avoid this hotel just because of transportation. You will find unreasonable taxi prices with no Argo meter. Unless you have your own car.

Review 57：I have waited for additional an hour and a half for my room to be ready. I wasn't given any alternative besides asking me to wait. No initiative updates and i have to keep asking for my room. The lady at the counter giving many excuses. I was with four other families with children. We waited at the lobby feeling so tired and hungry. When we suggested to see the maanager, then only he experdite our rooms. Every 10mins, we get our room each. The lady who serve me did not have our interest at heart. Was disappointed to learn that swimming pool is 1.2m by height whereas we have children ages from 3 -7yrs old wanting to play in the pool.

Review 75：We requested high floor but gave us low floor. And check in should be 2pm but we check in 3pm plus due to not ready yet. We book three room and one room was far away for us and we expect two room will be connecting room.

Review 76：There seems to be a taxi syndicate in Batam that over charges on cab fares. Taxis do not run on meter and the fares are predetermined at the Hotel's taxi counter (no room for negotiation). For a location 5-7 mins away we were quoted IDR70,000 (S$7) and when we boarded the taxi, I witnessed the taxi driver paying the taxi counter staff some money (this was on top of parking fees he paid when he left the hotel). The next day we tried to book a taxi by phone instead (one of the companies that run by meter). When we called and the company and they were going to agree to pick us up outside the hotel vicinity the line was cut off. Subsequently when we tried to call through, once the person greeted with the taxi company's name the line kept getting cut off. We suspect the hotel operators were listening in and cut the line. Cannot help but feel ripped off!

Review 77：The location is alright if you don't plan to travel much and content with the surrounding shops/food places. Right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal and opposite a decent mall. Good for 2D1N but not for anything longer.

Review 123：Counter Staff-I asked for my bill at 10am, informing them that I will only leave the room at 12. I did said that we had a packet of snack. Bill given to me without the snack price included. At 12 before leaving, personally left the automated card back to them and they told me that I have not paid for the snack. I told them is ok since I am getting the cookies, I will pack for the snack . Again here the bill given to me without the snack price.I asked the Cookies "girl' she told me it's ok. I walked out from the hotel, tis guy came running after me for the snack price. It's so embarassing with people looking around. Find out, what goes wrong here. I will never come back again or recommended tis hotel to my relatives or friends. When u ask for something, they never get back to u. U all should not charged phone call within your area.

Review 124：Upon checking in, which should be 2pm. I reached at 3.30pm. The hotel staff ask to come back 30mins later which is at 4pm. I dont see why is it the hotel cant provide me with proper checking in. Check in at 4pm should at least have the benefit of late check out but no. when being ask about late check out she only give us till 12.30 which is only 30mins late when i check in at 4pm. During checking in, the staff charged my card for 2nights when its clearly stated that i will be there for only 1night. 2weeks before going i emailed the hotel personally and even through this booking.com to ask the hotel to do special decorations as guest is celebrating wedding anniversary but to no response.

Review 126：I scalded myself in the shower! Water so hot to the skin( I used to have hot shower) This temperature was terrible n technical came n left but temp remain as bad. I had to make use of water at basin for quick rinse n made a mess!

Review 128：One elevator is broken down and the other is very slow. The bathroom looks a bit shabby with cracks on the tiles and water marks on the ceiling. But all else was pretty good.

Review 135：These are pretty minor inconveniences. Aircon was a bit on the loud side. No night light. Toilet handspray was dripping water albeit very slowly. There were mosquitos in the room. Bathroom looked a bit dated.

Free shuttle to ferry terminal (although it's right next door, road is pretty bumpy and uneven, not ideal for strollers) After we requested for extra blanket, front desk called to confirm if it had been sent over.
