Reviews for Bayshore Beachside Resort
Review 1:A little far from local bars and restaurants- approximately 10/15 minute walk.
Review 2:Modern, clean and well equipped apartment located approximately 20 yards from a beautiful shoreline. The resort is ideally located to explore the spectacular local scenery as well as the numerous wineries of the Margaret River Area.
Review 3:It could be quite cold in the winter with tiled floors and a small mat. Does have a tile fire though.
Review 4:Well located near the beach. Quieter end of town. All units are well situated and not wall to wall.
Review 5:Need darker curtains upstairs as sun woke us up very early in the morning
Review 6:Lovely villas close to beach. We booked 3 together and there was heaps of room for 19 ladies to spread out and have a very relaxing 2 days. We loved it so much we rebooked for the same time next year.
Review 7:We stayed for our wedding weekend. The staff were so helpful and friendly! We also had friends with us as well as two teenagers. Location is wonderful. Food within walking distance and great fun in crabbing on Geographe Bay. Lovely.
Review 8:The cleanliness of our apartment was poor, some major spring cleaning required.
Review 9:Great location. Friendly lady on reception who recommended lots of great attractions for us to visit.
Review 10:My only complaint was no convenience store within walking distance.
Review 11:I liked having the River one side and the beach the other, the gardens at the resort were peaceful with an abundance of wildlife. The place (abode) itself was set out well designed to take in the Vista. Staff very helpful.
Review 12:Our appartment was next to the tennis courts and there were many children playing inside during the early morning hours.
Review 13:Free upgrade to a bigger apartment so that means more space. Clean rooms and toilets, functioning kitchen.great location to visit Margaret river region and there are many good eateries around.
Review 14:Lovely facilities in our villa. Three single people travelling together so our villa was perfect. Kitchen fantastic. However it I not walking distance to shops but this was not a problem to us. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Review 15:The guy at reception not much of a warm welcome. We were 20 min late for check in and the first thing he said was 'you are a bit late' Not something you want to hear afterbeing in a car for 6hrs with two small children. Then I asked if they had a high chair available he said 'no we only have 2 and they are booked out you should of brought your own.' And yes we would of if we had the space but just saying 'No sorry we don't' would of been suffice. Other than that everthing was great. But please even if people are a little late could the guy at the front put a smile on and be welcoming and check the smart a$$ comments at the desk.
Review 16:Quiet and clean and well looked after.Beach is a short walk away.
Review 17:Generally clean, but walls and skirting boards could use attention.
Review 18:Great rooms, we stayed in 2 room villa with spa. Grounds are fantastic with great bbq facilities. Friendly reception staff.
Review 19:Man at reception was very grumpy. We put our rubbish out in the bin beside our unit and were told it was the wrong bin. The unit was very tired, rail missing from wardrobe, air conditioner control missing.
Review 20:Location was good for our purpose. We did a winery tour of Margaret River region and watched the sunset at Yallingup.
Review 21:Cleanliness was poor. Stained floors and most importantly it had stained bedding. Glad we took sleeping bags. Was tidy but not clean, very dusty with smell on entry. Not all the lights worked, only in kitchen did they work
Review 22:Location was good
Review 23:Missed receiving password for free wifi, our service didn't appear to work either.
Review 24:Clean rooms and bathrooms, new fluffy white towels. Great service at check in and check out. Instant hot water. Comfortable furniture and soft furnishings.
Review 25:Could perhaps offer some info in cottages regarding all the other great facilities ie, BBQ, Tennis Courts, Activity Room with pool and table tennis table. If you haven't made booing yourself via internet you might not know all this is available.
Review 26:Clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, Great BBQ facilities down by the river front, all set in manicured gardens. Staff attended to an issue with a blown light globe straight away, good value for money, all in all a great stay !
Review 27:A safety gate leading up to 2nd level would be advisable especially with young children around.
Review 28:Spacious, clean and well equipped. Free Wifi was great and Manager Bruce was very friendly and accommodating. Grounds were well maintained and close proximity to the beach was a big bonus. We saw stingrays and Pelicans! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!
Review 29:The prettiest beach right on the foot steps, no waves, perfect for kids. Wonderful stuff, allowing us for late check in with a very late notice. A nice river view on the opposite side of villa. Great place to just relax and enjoy the time down there. Will def go back again!
Review 30:Pots, pans and plates weren't cleaned properly from the last visit, which made us question the cleanliness of the kitchen (apart from that everything else was good).
Review 31:Service was fantastic - friendly, family orientated. Good facilities - close to the beach, BBQ facilities, tennis court, equipment hire, recreational room, beautiful river out the back! Free Wifi!
Review 32:Hard to fault anything. If there was it's the Wifi and 4G a bit slow and poor 4G signal (although shouldn't need these thing for a get away, should switch them off and relax). May be a bit expensive in high season, but worth it.
Review 33:Very close to the beach, clean neat absolutely fully kitted out self contained Villa, spa, spacious, beautiful gardens, quiet. highly recommended, would stay there again.
Review 34:Too narrow stair case abit worried for small children sleeping upstairs.
Review 35:The bed is comfortable, very spacious rooms suitable for family with older kids, the best deal will be the free WiFi
Review 36:disappointed with Dunsborough in general. Much preferred Margaret River. Very cold and unfriendly manager who obviously did not like being called to help out with the stove when we could not get it going
Review 37:my son liked the bed and TV and the couches were nice and comfortable. Right on beach which is nice. tile fire was a nice touch for winter but no kindling. We had to go to vacant block next door to collect as only large logs were supplied.

Review 42:Only criticism was the ensuite shower hot tap was loose...you could still get hot water but needs a plumber to fix....
Review 43:Very quiet location. No noise from other patrons at night. Quality resort. Our adolescent boys loved the resort games facilities.
Review 44:In the older unit, we found that the doona's need to be replaced as they are very heavy (aged). Also the bathroom had a little mould discolouration in the grout and could do with a really good scrub and dose of bleach.
Review 45:Our family consisted of Myself and my husband, my mother and father, two of our children with their partners and their five children. Age range from 3 years to 79 years old. We had two three bedroom units, one looked like it had been re-furbished and the other new carpet but showing a little wear and tear (however was very comfortable). Most even my 79 year old father played tennis daily and had a great time. Games room and swing set was also great with the younger kids. We didn't use the BBQ's however there were a few and they were clean. Location was prefect for our needs and we hope to return sometime in the future, and take the kayaks with us, when the weather is warmer. A great time was had by all.
