Review 1：Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great location. Room 209 had a wonderful view of the pool and beach. Breakfast was very good with fresh omelettes made to order. Will definitely stay again.

Review 6：The buffet breakfast is the best I have had in Greece. Fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, cooled eggs and meat, and cold meat and cheese. Fresh bread and pasties. Grest selection. No need for lunch. Memory foam mattress, most comfortable nights sleep, I have had in Greece. Perfect length, and temperature pool, for swimmers. Lovely views over the bay.

Review 7：The cleaning stuff was knocking on the door everyday even when they saw that the door is close from inside. They didn't stop knocking until we answered.

Review 8：The Rooms in the first floor with sea view are simple, but very nice. You have a balcony and only 40m to walk to the sandy beach. As you are located near the village center, there are many good restaurants close by. We would definitely come again ;)

Review 9：There was a really bad smell/stench in the air most of the times when I was sitting in the restaurant in the ground floor area, no bin in the room and generally the hotel looked as if it needed a good overall redecoration.

Review 23：The Georgioupolis Beach Hotel is perfectly located close to beach, restaurants and shops while at the same time offering a very peaceful and secluded setting. From the second we arrived to the moment we left, the staff at the Hotel were brilliant. Whilst some people have made a big deal out of having to pay cash, its not exactly a reason to mark this great hotel down as there are ample ATM' s. We will definitely return. Review 24：I have stayed at this hotel before. Nine months before travelling I booked 2 rooms, overlooking the pool. When we checked in they gave us 1 room overlooking the pool and one room some distance away with not a good view. When I pointed out my special request, made 9 months earlier. the male manager said it was the first time he had read my request and could not honour it. We were very disappointed in his couldnt care less attitude. We could not check in until after 4pm and he kept hounding us every day to pay in CASH. Would definatley not stay there again

Review 25：On arrival getting placed into a sister Hotel/ Appartments. After confirming we would like to stay for a few more nights with the manager, he suggested he would move us to the beach resort , on the morning of our original checkout we packed and made our way to the main hotel , where we met the manager again, who believed there had been no commitment for the extra days, he then suggested one more night in the sister hotel and two days in the beach hotel, not really what we had intended. To be honest the sister appartments (Tarra) were not bad and the whole stay there would have been fine. I believe he managed to get more money for the rooms and sold us out. Stayed only a couple days because of this incident and moved on the Rethymno where we had an excellent time.

Review 26：Location excellent , nice beach and a surprising amount of bars and reteraunts to keep u occupied. Anyone looking for a late drink head to Tropicana , good music , Dj and barstaff very entertaining.

Review 27：- There were nothing "Greek" in this hotel. Staff speaks fluent russia. - Hotel staff left their kid at the pool area for hole days - No change of towels and bedsheets - If you have a room with a sea wiew there will be noise from the restaurant area across the street. If you have a room to the back yard there will be awful smell from sewers. - It's impossible to sleep untill 8am becouse of the noise from the stairwell. - We wanted to pay our stay by credit card but hotel make us pay it by cash.

Review 29：We had such a great time at the Georgioupolis Hotel & Spa! It is alovely beach front resort with friendly staff and is great value formoney! The manager Antonio was great from the very start - upgrading usto a sea-view room and making sure our fridge was stocked with water.The whole holiday he and the other staff went absolutely beyond whatwould have been expected to ensure our stay was perfect: from offeringus a meal on the house to the little things like lending us his iron. Iwould absolutely (and already have) recommend this hotel to anyone.Great place to relax for couples and very family friendly with the beachright in front of the hotel!

Review 30：Our "garden view" was the top of a roof that was falling apart. There were cats everywhere that make a lot of noise, especially at night. We could hear everything in the room, cats fighting, music from across the street, people talking and slamming doors, ect. all during the night, every night. The rooms are clean, but they need to be updated and the hotel should provide the conveniences that other hotels provide, ie make the bed instead of leaving folded sheets on the bed, small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, clean towels at least once after the initial arrival during the stay if the towels are left on the floor, and wifi in the rooms would be nice.

Review 31：The location is great. It is convenient to the beach and to the town center, within walking distance to everywhere. The hotel outside of the rooms is nice, updated and comfortable. They offer breakfast and dinner for a reasonable cost everyday. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The price was great for 5 days and I guess that may be why we suffered a little on the comfort.

Review 59：Went with a friend to Georgioupolis Beach Hotel to escape long Britishwinter. Got excellent deal from travel agent, with free upgrade to alovely pool view - ground floor. Flew with Ryanair from LeedsBradfordairport and journey went without a hitch. Met at Chania airport by theHotel's transport. Reception and check in very friendly andefficient. Taken by car from reception to our bungalow, so did not haveto lift or carry luggage. Accommodation spacious and very well equippedand comfortable - included small fridge, kettle and cups, toiletries inbathroom, plenty of towels, etc.. The food was out of this world - somuch choice and all absolutely delicious. Choice of restaurants forevening dining. The weather was generally hot and sunny but the water inthe outside pools was still too cold for swimming - alas !!. The poolswere brilliant and looked so inviting. It would have been good if one ofthe outdoor pools had been heated. Small pool for young children. Goodbeach with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Much to do in the area -only a walk to a village along the beach. Probably more choice if youhire a car. But we just wanted to relax and chill out and it waswonderful for rest and relaxation. Would go again.

Review 61：It was my second visit to the hotel and and I can recommend the place once again. It has a very good location in the centre of the toown and about 20m away from the sea. The room was comfortable, with all the facilities. There is a very good kitchen serving delicious meals cooked with local products. After a day on the beach, you can relax in a sizeable swimming pool. The staff are really helpful

Review 62：The room was clean but there was mold everywhere. the hall leading to the room had two small open sewer holes. that was gross. I opened the supply closet next to the room and had to immidiatly close the door because of the bad moldy smell. the pool's paint was rubbing off

Maid service not good, didn't clean washbasin, shower or kitchen sink. Didn't come until 6.15pm one day. Review 73：For us everything was great.If you expect a lot of choice in channels on the tv. You will be disappointed. First time in Crete? Ask what you can expect . Your standard in cleaning or towels maybe is different. For us it was fine.

Not to hard and not to soft. Although start of the season, they had allready filled the pool. The grounds are very well maintained. Free Wifi is available. Maybe not yet in all the rooms. But at the pool and in the lounge/lobby it works fine. Everybody is motivated to make sure you have a wonderfull time. We were happy with the size of the bathroom and the showercurtain. (thats normally not available in Crete) price includes airconditioning and use of safety box. Most of the time that's charged extra in Crete. Cannot advice on the food since we did not book breakfast. The breakfast location looked great! Georgioupolis is a great destination for your vacation. The hotel is on walking distance of everything you need or like. Restaurants, shops and beach on short walking distance . In short: Georgioupolis Beach hotel is a great place to stay!
