Review 1：Single travellers rarely get the best room, but the hotel architect that designed rooms around a narrow light-well needs to go back to school. I couldn't even open the curtain to get what light there was because there was another room opposite, not more than 2 metres away. And outside the window was a huge aircon unit, so no chance of opening the window, either. It was pretty noisy all round, the hotel is not responsible for the guests but at midnight, you can do without people shouting in the corridors.

Review 2：The location was perfect and the staff (especially in the restaurant and the roof terrace bar) were charming. The roof terrace has the best view of the city, to be recommended. The dinner buffet represented excellent value for money and the breakfast was fine.

Review 3：It was pretty dark in the room with closed shutters. Once the shutters are open, the conditioner stops working. The shower was tiny. Stuffy in the dining area.

Review 5：We must have had the worst room (3 beds - two adults and one child) in the hotel! At the 1st floor (actually, more like a mezzanine), the passers-by could literally see through your room, no balcony and almost non-existent air-conditioning. Fortunately, we had booked it just for a night's sleep.

Review 19：general maintenance of room facilities seemed to be a problem. The extractor fan in bathroom did not work and the refrigerator was a little tired. The main problem was the size of the shower recess that allowered water to flood the bathroom each time a shower was taken. The shower should be updated with a 900 x 900mm shower base and sliding glass door.
