Review 1：We had an excellent stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. if you're looking for an authentic greek experience, this is the perfect place to stay at.
Review 2：Next time we'll prefer a rear apartment. Not the one on the street (although small street).
Review 3：Great view. Window facing the beautiful sunset, just above the dock. Very clean and tidy. Large apartment.
Review 4：Young males of the town met right under our bedroom window in a corner of the taverne around 1a.m. the waiter did not care but stood with them until we told them at 2a.m. that we would like to sleep.
Review 5：We were treated from our arrival onwards in so friendly way that we could not but enjoy. Accomodation (two different apartments) was splendid and food in restaurant tasty. But best of all were all the people around!
Review 6：Super uncomfortable bed. Service could have been better -- the staff tried to be nice, with their limited language skills and provisions, but feels like some better supervision is needed. We got a 'sea view' all right only not a very pleasant one: a parking lot, a dumpster, and a wire. By lying just so on the (uncomfortable) bed, one could manage to see just water.
Review 7：I didn't know whether to say 'yes' or 'no' above -- the accommodation is in the beach town of Panormos, some miles out of Rethymno, and seems a good value for those coming to the beach for a week with their families. The management has done what they can to make the space comfortable with a kitchen and bathroom, but furniture and surroundings are somewhat oldfashioned, need updating to be better. We felt we would rather stay in a place with a better beach view, considering that Panormos isn't one of the better looking beaches in Crete, and near a town with better food and wine options.
Review 8：Wi-Fi connection worked time to time and never at 100%. If you need to be connected for business reasons, forget it. We asked several times to fix it without success.
Review 9：In short words if you like to have a seaview and enjoy calm, this is perfect for you! The location is perfect even if you want to visit the isle or not. There is a small beach very close and it is quite private due to the fact that local people goes only during the week-end and tourist hotels are located far away. The quality of food at the restaurant is very good having fresh fish every day that make it a very good alternative. The cleanlady cleans the appartment at least five times a week.

Review 23：We only stayed for two days but because it was the last two days of the season the owner upgraded us to the "Big House" which is a three bedroom, three balcony, two bathroom suite and was absolutely delightful. A lovely, romantic and perfect end to our time in east Crete. Panormos is ideal if you want a quieter resort but is within driving distance of many sites. We well recommend a stay here.

Review 28：We stayed in Captain's House for a night and it cannot be better. The room has everything you might need, included kitchen equipments and a music player. I recommend the restaurant too. The waiter is very kind and helpful. Their white wine is amazing. There are two beaches in walking distance. The best part is sleeping. The building is made of stone, which makes it cold and relaxing. So, I recommend it to everyone!

The townof Panormo is located on the main national road between Rethymno andIraklio, making it easy to visit most of the greatest places in westernCrete. The hotel has its own taverna with wonderful bread, tasty fishand traditional Greek dishes, with prices somewhat lower than in biggercities. The beaches are located just a few hundred meters away. Most ofthe rooms have windows overlooking the sea. There is a convenientparking at the port. Adjacent to the hotel is a small shopping streetoffering much choice. The staff was very kind and solved any problems wecould have. The linen was changed regularly and the rooms very spotless.I cannot say anything bad about the hotel at all.
