Review 9：Great location not far from the sea with big car park. Nice appartment but small bathroom. Bit old fashioned but very pleasant. Manoli was very cheerful and helpful and introduced us to Dittany - a special Cretan herb.

Review 10：All hills and steps!!! No lifts. BUT we soon became used to the walks and steps. Little failings were easily diminished because of the atmosphere of the environment.

Review 11：The village of Panormos was lovely. It reminded me of the film Mamma Mia. Manolis,who was in charge of the apartments, and his wife were exceptionally helpful and kind.

Review 12：Very nice, friendly staff, including the manager (greets to Manolis and Maria!), relatively big, two-part swimming pool with a shallow section for kids, spacious private parking lot, spacious apartments with large balconies. Kitchen fully equiped with utensils. Located on a side at the silent, kind of dead-end of the village's main street, within 5min walk to the seaside. Overall - great value for money.

Review 14：The apartments are very clean and well positioned, close to a superb small beach and all other amenities such as taverns, supermarket, souvenir shops, etc. The owner was great, being prompt with us for all our needs so i strongly recommend this place for a great and a relaxing holiday.

We took advantage of the lovely pool and secluded gardens which were close to the village and beaches. We would definitely recommend Philoxenia apartments for a relaxing holiday in Crete.

Review 21：Lovely spacious apartment beside the pool, only about 50m from bars and restaurants. It had a large car park for easy access to all rental cars. The staff were so friendly, they did everything they could to help us enjoy our stay. We would love to go back.

Review 23：We felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. Manolis has been fantastic and our family enjoyed the holidays very much. The village has kept it's charm, full of lovely tavernas and friendly locals. We will definitely come back.

Review 24：The transfer bus dropped us off a long way from the apartments at 11pm and it was a struggle to find the place hauling our luggage. Do not come here if you are allergic to cats as they are everywhere and walk freely around tables whilst eating out in the open. The bathroom is very small but you can use the pool showers and the open air beach showers for a proper wash to avoid standing in the bath tub for long periods. The kitchenette is very small for a superior apartment.

Review 25：We travelled in a party of 2 adults and 3 children aged 15yrs, 12yrs and 5yrs. This location in Crete is one of the best.The superior apartments can accommodate an extra bed which served our purposes very nicely. The apartments are very clean, efficient air con and located in a great position close to the beach and local amenities. Although small, the bathroom had hot water. Good free Wifi and practical mosquito screens on the windows and doors. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea which was nice and breezy in the evenings to sit and watch the sunset. The manager Manolis was very helpful and gave us some good tips on eating out etc The apartments are quiet and suited our requirements for a self sufficient holiday. We loved the low key pool and did not miss the fact that there was no pool bar. You can borrow books to read from the reception area. Panormos itself, is picturesque with cobbled streets (slightly steep in parts) with a sleepy atmosphere. The taverna's offer traditional food which is great and the free deserts with fresh fruit was a welcome bonus. We preferred the sandy beach which was a 3 minute walk away. The sea is lovely to swim in and our 5yr old spent many hours splashing about with local children. Sunbeds are readily available. I cannot forget to mention the fabulous Relaxika massage place which is a 2 minute walk from the apartments. This is definitely a trip we will make again.

Review 26：We got a 60 euro room for 48 euro, while the site advertised a 250 euro (LOL) room for that offer. There is no sea view, our studio had a main street view, but wasnt noisy at least. It was rather difficult to find as we never saw a sign of the hotel.

Review 27：The hotel was in proximity of most minimarkets/bars/restaurants and the main beach. Also at 5mins on foot from a secondary better beach. The room was clean, wifi and aircondition were in great condition! The pool seemed to me clean but we didnt use it.

Review 29：the location was beautiful.on the edge of a small coastal village where the harbour was a 2 minute walk through the cobbled streets. The apartment was a little tricky to find but we asked a local dog walker and he was more than happy to direct us. The apartment had a lovely swimming pool which was the main reason we chose it as not all smaller accommodations have pools. As we arrived the owner showed us to our rooms and helped with bags and said that as they were fairly quiet he had moved us into a bigger apartment which was a real treat. The apartment t was comfy and spacious with a very large balcong looking out over the pool. Air conditioning worked well and the owner was very helpful in telling us what was around, nearest shops etc,.in fact he could not have been any more welcome and accommodating. Also very smiley every time we saw him throughout the week. Made us feel very welcome.would definitely come back but I am sure they will be much busier as these kind of places don't stay hidden gems for long.

Review 41：The apartments are in the perfect position, a 1 minute walk to the local bakery and tavernas, and less than five minutes to one of two lovely sandy beaches. If you're looking for somewhere very quiet and sleepy (in July at least), Panormos is perfect.

Review 42：Its absolutely an amazing place. We stayed in the apt with two rooms, bathroom and the huge taras on the last floor. The view was great, with sea in one side and mountains on the ofher.Everything you see on the pics is exactly what you will find there. Clean, nice place to stay for everybody. Panormos itself is very cozy and gorgeous place to be, especially for families. Small restaurants with home cooking. Definitely recommended.

Review 44：We had a ground floor apartment with a double bedroom and two single beds in the "kitchen/dining room". Everything was clean. There was a kettle,and a small portable hob, but no microwave. Cutlery and crockery provided. We had a large private terrace which was very near the lovely pool. The bathroom had a shower over the bath with a curtain. Plenty of free parking in hotel car park. Very near a supermarket open till 11pm, and lots of lovely tavernas to choose from in the village. 10 mins walk to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful when we were there. Highly recommended.

Review 49：Maria is very welcoming and keeps the place very clean and tidy. The apartment is a little tired but we found it clean and adequate for our needs. We had an upper apartment with side view of the sea. The apartments are only a few mins walk to the beach and tavernas and supermarket. Eating out is cheap and food is good. The locals are very welcoming. A quiet resort when we visited which suited our need for a relaxing holiday. Quiet position, no noise at night time. 1 hour drive from Heraklion airport, missed the turn off to Panormos. though
