Review 1：Lovely family hotel, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. It was a short stay but hotel has certainly made an impression. A location offers a lot of possibilities for recreation, such as long walks along promenade or hiking on nearby hills. We will definitely return to this beautiful place.

Review 2：Be clear this is nothing to do with the hotel. The beaches are less stony/rocky further along than they are directly opposite the hotel. But after a Hotel Suadade breakfast you need a walk anyway !!

Review 3：Gradac is beautiful and a wonderful place (outside of August when it is packed). This hotel is perfectly placed at the end of the town to be close but quiet. The rooms are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable but best of all is the staff. Truly wonderful one and all. Totally professional but very friendly when you want. Breakfast brilliant.

Review 6：Superb location, beautiful scenery, long rocky beach. Competent staff and warm welcome. We eat a delicious dinner while watching the sunset with a melody of the waves in the background. We are definitely returning to this place and believe it or not we saw dolphins from the restaurant terrace during breakfast, what a great way to start the a new day.

Regretable to pay 200€/night and be asked to pay for a beach towel and sauna access ! it looks a bit small minded and thrifty! wifi access is alos not easy and not strong, some places we get some other in the room we dont! but we canget anyway

Review 12：I didn't like the attitude of some of the staff of the hotel. There was a very rude employee from the selling department. Also we were in the room (sea view) but we couldn't see sea, and of course we were charged for the room with a sea view.

Review 13：Definitely the best restaurant in town. Slightly more expensive than the others but there you can be sure you'll get fresh and delicious food. Well trained and friendly staff which is always ready to help you. Free beach chairs and umbrellas on the hotel beach, although there is natural shade. Clear water. Definitely to recommend.

Review 14：Reception is not allowed to book a restaurant Marco Polo for you. Such little wars between hotel owners in a small town are unprofessional... The guests are not able to keep adequate dress code in the "a la carte restaurant". The hotel should advice people at least in the evening. Prices very ambitios.

Review 16：Reserved beach with free sun-chairs and umprellas just in front of the hotel is a great asset. Room (deluxe) was very comfortable. Views are quite amazing. Good restaurant downstairs.

Review 17：The room towels could be changed more often. Their beach is not private so everyone for 5 EUR charge can be there. Their restaurant is the most expensive in the town (hotel guest do not have any discount in the restaurant). There is nothing to do in the hotel - no swimming pool,bowling or the other attractions so if it's raining outside you will get bored for sure.

Review 18：The most welcoming people we have ever met. Very clean rooms, cleaned every day.Tasty breakfast with a wide variety of food. Nera and Mate the best waiters you will ever find...

Review 19：Check in very poor at arrival. No help with the luggage. We were two couples with one twin and one double booked, staff didn't even ask/know who was in which room, (although specified). The superior room (no.102) balcony was directly above a plastic roof with very limited views and smoke from the grill was quite noticeable in the evenings. We did ask to change rooms but the staff was very reluctant to help. We do understand if the hotel was fully booked but we made the reservation back in March and explicitly asked for a room higher up. The staffs reply was: "We treat all our guests the same"! The beach is not suitable for elderly or kids. It is a stone beach. No shower on the beach which meant that you had to go to the room to shower. Very inconvenient! Very dated decor in public areas. Needs updating.

Review 23：This is not 4 stars standard. Th room furnished very poor, lot of plastik and aluminium. We paid for the full sea view room and higher standard but we had view to the restaurant's roof. They dont change the towels. The private beach should be arrange better, there's no beach service and the beach is very crowded. Not good value for money.

Review 28：Hotel staff were very welcoming after a long day travelling. We only booked a side sea view room as we were only staying one night. The room was fairly small but adequate. The full sea view rooms looked bigger and would be better for a longer stay. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We ate dinner in their restaurant which was excellent and good value for money. Gradac was a lovely little seaside town and we wished we had booked to stay longer. Maybe next time.

Review 36：the hotel opened its doors in 2011, so everything is new and well maintained. we stayed in one of the "superior" rooms; those are spacious, clean, cosy, comfortable and quiet. all of them have a balcony and a great ocean view. the personnel was extremely friendly and helpful - every single one of them somehow seemed to be happy to be working there, which is a good sign. breakfast was good, dinner at the restaurant was excellent and most likely the best in town (especially when the fire place is burning); we had the best fish of our whole croatia trip there. there's nothing much going on in the town itself - it's a quiet place, which we enjoyed (go party elsewhere ;-). the hotel is at the end of the "active" town which you cross while going there. you can find a couple of old hotels slowly falling apart since even before the war well hidden, but within walking distance of the hotel - very adventurous, but take care. anyway, we had a great (part of) our honeymoon at the "saudade" - hopefully we'll be back (soon).

Review 38：Very well run hotel. Restaurant was very good. The morning breakfast had lots of variety and the food was very good. The rooms were very clean. The ocean front rooms were wonderful and worth the extra money.

Review 49：Not every room is situated very well. For us it wasn´t problem, but if you prefere view to sea check it before order (2 of 6 rooms have not good look-out). Wastewater hole in bathroom floor should be flooded with water each week. Otherwise it smell a little bit like in our room. Old lady on reception still live in another times of Yugoslavia. She don´t accept all of our few requests and lied to us. Custmoer should be on first place. All other young personal was perfect.

Review 51：At rush-hour dinnertime there will sometimes be a lot of smell from the restaurant grill on the balconies. The hotel wifi will not work in many of the rooms. However there are ethernet plugs in every room, so there is nothing stopping you from bringing your own wifi access point.

Review 52：The superior rooms are clean, spacious and with a wonderful view. These rooms have nice big balconies where we as parents could relax and enjoy the view and warm nights when the kids were sleeping. A big plus for well insulated doors and windows - almost soundproof - sound from the beach and other outdoor activities is almost non-existent. High technical standard and excellent AC. The staff is very friendly and helpful with a high professional standard. This goes for both the hotel and the restaurant.

Review 106：Hotel Saudade located in a peacefull, nice dalmatic bay, 5 meters to the beach. The hotel inside appearance is nice, confortable, it has a good quality furniture. The most important is the very helpful and friendly people in the reception and restaurant. It was a pleasure staying here.

Review 112：More than 10 years and we finally found the right place! Being close to the sea, exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff are strengths of this lovely hotel. Their restaurant, which offers a lot more than most of the restaurants on the coast, deserves special recommendation. Certainly the best restaurant in Gradac. The scents of pine trees and sea revive your body and soul. In any case, we recommend the hotel.

Review 115：Excellent hotel with excellent services! Very friendly and professional staff. Location is also great, right by the beach and just a short walk from the center. We booked a premium room, the view from the balcony was really worth a bit of extra costs. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was big and comfy. The hotel restaurant is probably the best in town, it offers delicious Dalmatian specialities. We had a very nice and relaxing holiday.
