Review 1：Some of the facilities looked a little dated. The kids pool area could be prettier and needs a ladder to get out of the pool near the lawn area. We went to the "Asian" restaurant one night and it was just the same place where we had eaten lunch but now had Asian decorations!

Review 2：We had a great time here, just what we were looking for. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. The beach was beautiful, the pools were spacious. They had kids activities planned and our 7 year old son had a great time too. There was live music at night on patio. On site market for small purchases. Coffee at the little coffee shop in evening. All nice touches. The town of Rethymno is not far away and is adorable. Definitely make the trip.

Review 11：poor internet connection (and this was only in lobby area), I was expecting to have it all over the place (should be a standard for 5* hotel); fitness room quite small, we had to wait for other people to end their workout; only one beach bar and nobody from their staff came to sunbeds for order- we had to go every time to the bar; very expensive drinks (one fresh orange juice 10 euro!) kids club not close to main beach or pool area, personnel from kids club speaks only Greek and Russian;

The food is repetitive and believe it or not they served salmon (did not know it was a fish of the region) - really poor internet connection - got blocked in the old elevetor - main block is 40 years old apparently but the reception is renovated - old swimming pool

Review 26：We spent five great nights at grecotel creta palace. The smiling staff at breakfast were great. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We snacked on the beach which was nice but did not have any other meals there. Oh wait room service, good and super fast. Pool area is very nice! Would surely go back.

Review 27：late check out is not availalble (at least for bungalow), however reception kept us unaware of it till last day creating wrong expectation and telling the stories that they do the best to meet our request for late check out. It would be much better to reject our request at the very beginning. Reception personnel mixed room numbers and made strange phone calls Taxi was ordered beforehand on reception for 14:00 but then it's appeared that no taxi was ordered.

Review 36：This is my fourth stay there. Great food, great beach, excellent staff. The absolute best manicurist I also make a point to go to (Elaferia...spelled wrong probably). We lost some very expensive sunglasses there and thought they were stolen, a week after I got home they found them and are returning them to me. The breakfast buffet is awesome, bigger than the Hawaii hotels famous buffets even. Have recommended this hotel to others, and will continue to do so.

Review 39：Smoking is allowed in the outdoor restaurants, that means people smoke WHILE you eat. But I found that to be a problem everywhere on the island. Rather slow WLAN. Sometimes bad smell in the room.

Review 43：The rooms could do with a bit of makeover to reflect the standard of the hotel as a whole. I also found the room a little dark as half the side facing the balcony was a solid wall instead of window/sliding door. Saying that, it was still very clean and the beds comfortable.

Basic bathroom items were missing (I.e. bath carpet, shower cap, ear-pick etc) The bed mattress was too hard and the quality of pillows were poor. A lot of noise by Russian residents. I do not recommend this hotel and I will never visit it again. I never visit so bad and expensive 5 star hotel.

Review 48：Very good family hotel for kids and their parents, while those without children are not bothered by any noise. Huge territory and beach allow everyone to have fun the way they want. Excellent breakfast buffet and never you have to wait for a table. Kids playground helps the parents a lot!
