Reviews for Leonardo Plaza Netanya Hotel

Review 1:The previous customer broke an item that the staff would not have been able to see but they very pleasantly got a maintenance person up to fix it immediately. The manager greeted us as we left and made sure that our stay was pleasant and they honestly wanted feedback in how they could improve the hotel.

Review 2:The breakfast could be a litle better (for my taste)...

Review 3:Almost everything! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved the room whit a terrace. When we go back to Netanya we will definitely choose this hotel again! Thank you Leonardo Plaza Netanya!!!

Review 4:All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was exactly what we required as my husband is a wheelchair user. Bathroom facilities were excellent as well. The staff in the restaurant were particularly helpful at breakfast and dinner.

Review 5:It would have been nice to include in the room extra sheets and pillows for the folding sofa.

Review 6:The location is central so no need to have a car. Close to great restaurants and beech. The roof top swimming pool was a great place to cool off. The business lounge is a fantastic service with great coffee/tea and light snacks during the day.

Review 7:The staff seem confused about what document I need to provide being a foreigner and was eventually embarassed when I was checking out. I kept telling them that I have the said document but for some strange reason , they weren't listening and kept on insisting that I fill a substitute document indicating that I didn't have the required document,

Review 8:The location of the hotel was perfect as it was close to the beaches and the centre of the town.

Review 9:The service was awful, the people at the reception are not well qualified, they dont know what they do. The worst that a person cant like in this hotel is that they steal and rob from you.... The worse hotel in the city of Netanya

Review 10:The room was clean and preatty much that is it. Nothing more...

Review 11:Gym closes early - not adapted to business travelers. Time consuming to get to due to traffic (best suited if you don't move outside Netanya). Lack of irons in room (old-fashin version can be found in shared facility on a different floor)(not business friendly).

Review 12:Room is nice - breakfast excellent!

Review 13:expensive breakfast but you only have to walk out of the front door of the hotel and you have dozens of places to eat breakfast at a fraction of the price.

Review 14:Great location

Review 15:Cost of breakfast is too much. Cleaner didn't do a good job of cleaning the room and one day didn't clean it at all. Tap broken in bathroom. Shower leaked when showering resulting in the bathroom floor being flooded.

Review 16:Location

Review 17:It was not on the beach. We had the impression that it was. Also the beaches are better in tel aviv. Staff was very helpful.

Review 18:Very new and great facilites. Some still not open. Like the kids center.

Review 19:The staff were very friendly, the hotel is new, clean and well presented. The location is also very good - surrounded by shops and 1 min walk from the beach.

Review 20:I didn't feel like a guest of a five-star hotel. The staff didn't seem to be well-trained. I read the reviews earlier about this complaint but I thought it would not matter, but it does really. My stay would have been more pleasant if they were more professional.

Review 21:Hotel was nice and modern, location is excellent.

Review 22:Very bad. Had to ask 4 times if the extra bed could be made. hey had to get more people working there. The guy that made the bed eventually was drunk....

Review 23:Poorly equipped there were no kitchen towels and very few utensils to prepare food. Stated on web as being refurbished yes about 25 years ago.

Review 24:Location of the flat was very central for transport to other parts of the country, beach and shops. Bed linen and towels were very good and soft.

Review 25:Leonardo has inadequate staffing in place. As a result, there are lines every time a staff interaction takes place. Also, the restaurant is not kept as clean as it should be - we frequently had to return cutlery or glasses which were not clean. Food itself was mediocre.

Review 26:staff is very friendly and location is great

Review 27:Leaving :-)

Review 28:The hotel was beautiful however the staff was the best I have encountered to date. I literally felt at home and like family yet they were very profesional. There aspect of service is exceptional.

Review 29:new hotel liked the design, outdoor pool was closed for the winter,my nice spacy room had partial view of the sea (part of it blocked by building) but still nice.

Review 30:The hotel was unfinished and noisy with workmen Drilling and hammering. The hotel should not have opened until all works completed.Restaurant was poor. Breakfasts were adequate but not exciting.

Review 31:Position, Decor and comfort of room

Review 32:The hotel is still not finished and there were workmen all over the place, very little functioned as it should. There were too many teething problems to list. It is probable that things will improve, but there is a way to go yet. The position is excellent, but it is not a 5 star hotel which is how it was rated by you, as far as we were concerned it is no more than 3 star for the time were there. There is no food service after 9pm, only the bar was open, and as far as we know no room service.

Review 33:rooms we booked and paid were not available because the hotel was before new opening. hotel offered worse room with extra access to executive lounge... also closed. just do not waist time of staff and you'll be fine

Review 34:The paint in the room wasn't clean the shower head had a leak They didn't give us slippers and a robe until I asked 3 times The tv didn't work well even after I called and they said they fixed it The lights outside the hotel (that were part of the hotel design)were very bright and made it hard to sleep It was very noisy from the street The pool was to cold for anyone to swim in ,there were bats that actually were touching the water

Review 35:Nice looking room but not finished well Beautiful pool on the roof but it was freezing there were no towels and there were huge bats! Some of the staff was friendly They upgraded our room

Review 36:Cons: - Booking.com showed the check-in time as 1500, but we weren't given a key to our room until 1900. - The hotel staff said that we shouldn't expect to check-in until 1800 or so on a holiday or Shabbat (Friday Sabbath)--that was new to us as we had stayed in other hotels.. - We waited in the bar area while the hotel staff kept telling us that we would need to wait for the room to be ready--it was supposed to be ready at three separate times. - The hotel staff took the problem more seriously when I called booking.com while at the front desk (great tool at the bottom of the hardcopy on your reservation page). At that point, the front-desk personnel took more of an interest and the manager got involved and checked on the room personally. We received our room key 20 minutes later. - Personnel assured Booking.com that our room price would be adjusted, but it wasn't. A bottle of wine, water, desserts and fruit were sent to the room. However, the manager never attempted to apologize for the mix-up--we never heard from him. Nitzan, from the hotel in Tel Aviv, assured us that we would receive some kind of comp--she was great throughout the process but the hotel's regular staff seemed uninterested. It seems as though there is a disconnect between the hotel staff's understanding of customer service and the prices being charged for a 4 or 5-star rating and quality of service associated with those ratings. -The price charged for dinner was expensive, especially considering the quality of food and how it was cooked. During breakfast hotel staff would allow five or more plates to build up on the table and still not clear them.

Review 37:Pros: - New Hotel--immaculate - Beds Comfortable and linens were nice - Quiet Rooms - Basic Pool on roof with great views. - Within walking distance of the beach--great beach - Short driving distance to the port at Caesaria.

Review 38:Because we arrived on the day they opened, the hotel was in middle of construction in certain areas of the hotel, so the pool wasn't open yet; neither was the kids club. But not to worry, they sent us to the pool in a different hotel.

Review 39:We had a lot of fun on our vacation at Leonardo Plaza. We arrived on the day that they opened and service was good. Whatever we needed, they brought right away. They helped us with all our questions, gave us directions to all the attractions.
