Review 1：Not a really modern hôtel except the exterior bar and terrace

Review 2：On the center of the old and historical city town: perfect localisation. The breakfast was very good exception the fruit and the chemical orange juice. A calm et quiet room with the view at the swiming pool. A good and relaxing night : good bed. Small bathroom but logical with the cheap price.

Review 3：I could touch the walls of the bathroom when I spread my arms! we had a first floor room at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy.

Review 7：Bathroom in need of immediate restoration (old bathtub which was clumsily repainted..., clean but very old, small and uncomfortable toilet etc). Wall-paper was used almost everywhere in the room, however in the bathroom there were several small wall cracks and spots that need to be repainted. Poor sound insulation (our room was on the 4th -top- floor, as a result, one day we woke up as maintance was in progress on the roof terrace / we could also hear the flushing of both our neighbours' toilets) In-room internet connection was not always reliable (extra charge: 2 euros per day).

Review 8：Nice cafeteria and lounges. Varied and delicious breakfast. Friendly, polite and always helpful staff. Nice furniture and comfortable bed and mattress. Wonderful view over the city of Rethymno. Swimming pool was really well taken care of. Excellent location (every important sight was literally one step away).

Review 11：Ridiculously overpriced internet in your room (you can freely use lobby/front patio/bar internet). I think it's a ploy to get people to use the free lobby internet & inevitably buy drinks/snacks. Pool area is used for breakfast seating making the pool not too usable for morning swimming. And there is a kind of basic dress code for the restaurant which you must cross to reach the pool. This makes it a bit less "inviting".

Review 12：Amazing location across the street from the seawall / harbor & blocks from both the fortress and shopping. Somehow they managed to squeeze a swimming pool in one of the oldest and densest areas of the town!

Review 29：This is our third time in the Ideon. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are professional and friendly. The perfect place to de-stress!

Review 41：bathroom was quite old, bathtub very small and overall not really clean impression very thin walls!!! you can literally hear a fart from the surrounding rooms (had some sleepless nights due to loud neighbours) breakfast buffet was large, however boring! everyday more or less the same stuff. i don't know how the standards for hotels are in greece/crete but we expected more for the price! I can't really agree to the rating here... the tv was very small and located very inappropriately (only one person on the left side of the bad can see it)
