Review 1：I don't like those sit-down type of baths with shower attached that are met in some Greek hotels. As someone who is mildly disabled, I could not access the bath (it had high sides) so did not have a shower while we were at the hotel. But that is a minor complaint.

Review 2：We were lucky enough to be able to park in front of the hotel and walk into the touristic parts of the city, so we have no complaints. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was reasonably good. Having a supermarket over the road was useful.

Review 7：Actually, I did not stay in Jo An Palace as the owner offered me a room in the Suite in Rethymno's old town. The suite is like a venezian palazzo with modern facilities, with amazing breakfast in my room.

Review 8：Breakfast service always seemed a bit disorganised. Maybe having one more member of staff on duty would help.
