Review 1：Terrible maintenance. Electric points hanging out of the wall; bathroom taps corroded and falling apart; etc. Very unclean - we found half-eaten grapes on the floor from the previous occupants, which was also full of dirt!

Review 9：Staff very insensitive. I booked my room for 3 nights in July 2014, four months in advance of arrival, and the hotel management had the gaul to rent my room out to a group who were staying for an extra week. They offered me two single studio rooms in place of my one room where my one room was to be larger than the two combined. The rooms were filthy and had broken and unattended things all over - for example, the rooms actually did not have knobs on the doors. Really disgusting! I was so taken aback that I booked a room a the Blue-Weiss Hotel where my stay was very pleasant.I will not again be booking at the Carmel Hotel and suggest that no one go to that dive. I strongly recommend the Blue-Weiss Hotel, which is better in location, amenities and everything else!

Review 11：Make sure to bring your own towels, soap and shampoos. This is not a 5 star accomodation. Having said that, if you know this going in you can not beat the price and the views. It's no big deal to bring your own bathroom supplies. I would go back again and in fact this is my 2nd time I stayed here.
Review 12：This was a great Value for the location and a million Dollar view from each room. Netanya is my favorite place to vacation in Israel. The restaurant in the building El Gaucho was great and the views from the restaurant of the ocean were spectacular. The woman who gave us our room was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. There is a 24 hr convenience store in the lobby. This is a big plus. Excellent free parking across the street.

Review 23：Not really "didn't like," but this is not exactly a hotel; its rooms are owned by lots of different people and, I suppose, are managed by the hotel company. This means that you can reserve rooms in different ways and have different experiences accordingly.

Review 25：Horrible place! Do not stay here!!! It' s old ,very dirty, my daughter found a chewing gum in the sink ,there was ball of hair on the floor. It took us almost 2 hours to check in.We changed rooms twice,the toilet flush was not working properly,there was a hole in the entrance ceiling also.Our friends requested a crib and a bed for their children and it was not ready when we arrived. The cherry on the cake was on Friday evening we discover that the shabbath elevator was not working,and our friends are observant Jews.They put them on the 17th floor... Will never ever go to this place and I do not recommend anybody to go! Go to a youth hostel instead. No toiletery in the bathroom we had to run to the superette to buy shampoo.

Review 27：Very stange system for toilet flash was getting on our nerves. During 8 days the cleaning and change of towels and linen was only once. Sand and hair on the floor left from previous guests were not very nice to notice.

Review 33：For the price we paid the quality of the apartment was poor. It was shabby and not as clean as I would like. The windows did not open and were dirty, the toilet seat was nasty. There was no plug for the kettle in the kitchenette, it had to be boiled on the bedside table.

Review 39：This was my worst hotel experience – a huge gap between the presentation and the reality. Even though it must be of recent construction, bad (or lack of) maintenance and management deteriorated it to a disaster zone. Upon arrival, we were offered 3 keys for 3 different rooms and were asked to go visit them and choose the one we like. Our surprise turned to frustration when we were unable to enter any of the rooms – locks broken or blocked. Back at the reception, we were given a key to a 4th room and finally managed to enter it. The only positive thing we can say is that the view of the beach is breathtaking. But the loose fixtures and the wet towels rotting in the fridge brought back the disappointing reality. Let it rot in peace…

Review 41：I chose the 'best' of 3 rooms, the other two were disgusting andI would have been very unhappy in either (going from the photos providedon the web site)... It should not be listed as a 'hotel' rather'self appointed apartments' I expected cleaning service andthere was none... The blinds were broken, the kettle filthy and a fewcockroaches roamed around, there was just a soap in the bathroom (nottoiletries as listed on web site), I had to wait 4 days to get ahairdryer and had to ask for more than 2 towels! (I tried to ignore allthese problems to enjoy my stay)

Review 46：The girl who checks you in is ver accomadating. She is originally from California so speaks great English. SHe knows how to give customer service in a way that you don't see usually in Israel. She knows how to treat American's and her service is with a smile. We would surely go back. It was a nice vacation and very relaxing.

Plenty ofparking adjacent to the building.
