Review 1：Mattress was very poor. I had springs in my back no matter where I rolled to. For the price, expecting a much better breakfast, it was much better years ago. The shared balcony on our room was a strange set up. I had people looking in my room at night. No German.
Review 2：I have stayed here many times over the years (since 1999). One of the most expensive in Veszprem, but one of the nicest. The staff is always professional, there English is great (no German, to bad!) Great location by the zoo. The zoo was renovated recently so it’s much better now. You can walk the bike path to the castle, city center, and the cross on hill. It was winter, so no noise from the adjacent party areas/restaurant that are packed in the summer.
Review 3：I booked a room as a special treat for my parents on their ruby wedding anniversary. When I contacted the hotel with some small special requests they were prompt to answer and they were very friendly and accommodated all my requests. My parents had a lovely time. Thank you so much!!

Review 5：We were there in winter and the landscape was beautifully snowy. The staff were nice and helpful and the bar was really cozy. Only 3-4 guests were in the hotel, so we can use the whole wellness area alone. There are two restaurant of the hotel and although they are not too cheap we ate there one of the best dishes of our life.
Review 6：The rooms were chilly. We arrived at night and tried to make warmer, but the radiators were not working at their full performance.

Review 8：The sparkling wine upon arrival was nice. So was the bath. But in my opinion first of all a place like this has to provide a comfortable bed. The mattresses were SUBSTANDARD, to say the least.
Review 9：Ridiculous staff serving breakfast. Extremely inexperienced. No food for children, I.e. Ordinary natural yoghurt is impossible to get. Wellness area seems impossible to be used with kids. Strange, since the major attraction near hotel is a zoo.

Room is nice and comfy but not spectacular. Be sure to ask for a room facing the front. We had a room at the back part of the hotel and there was no view. Restaurant on the hotel ground is simply amazing. Great food

Review 41：I booked one week in advance and requested explicitely a quiet room, but got a loud one. Why is the management not aware that such items distinguish top class and middle class hotels? Breakfast was not 4 star level (e.g. no cut cheese, only one type of cake, bad coffee quality). Definitely too expensive for the provided standard. At leaving, staff did not even ask if everything was okay.

The rooms were a bit small, but acceptable. The shower was tiny. Some rooms had balconies. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Parking was free and easy.
