Reviews for Island Suites

Review 1:The door to the balcony in the bedroom was whistling and letting air in all night because there was a storm. No silverware in the rooms. No chairs with the table on the balcony. No bathrobes.

Review 2:The view was amazing and the bed was very comfortable.

Review 3:Room cleaning was tardy and had to nag.came around 14:00 we wanted to rest. No towels in gym.showers in gym not very appetising Breakfast second day only long rolls no fresh bread

Review 4:The bathroom smelled a little and the couch and curtains need to be cleaned and updated. Never was enough towels and bedding needs to be updated. breakfast was terrible not up to par with jerusalem hotels. Need cabs to get around not easy to take public transportation from hotel. So better if you can rent a car.

Review 5:The view of the suite is gorgeous!

Review 6:На просьбу принести бутылку воды, нам было предложено пить из под крана. When I asked for bottle of water, I was offered to drink from water pipe. Not so luxury at all

Review 7:View

Review 8:Rooms have a lot of unrepaired cracks in the walls. Furniture is worn out to unacceptable levels for a deluxe property.

Review 9:Location is fantastic. Views from the large balcony are superb!

Review 10:After staying in this Hotel for 4 years, we have noticed that the upkeep and maintenance are slaking, allowing the hotel to go downhill. Housekeeping is not at par for a 5 star hotel. Not enough towels, no tissues (unless requested), no supplies in the kitchen...

Review 11:Modern facility in a great location. Good breakfast.

Review 12:check in process was horrible and long. lobby service is terrible. bed sheets are synthetic and not cotton -feels uncomfortable. we mentioned a couple of times that we are on our wedding night and didn't receive anything for that. disappointment.

Review 13:the location and view from the room are spectacular! the room is big and clean.

Review 14:You know how the goal of a hotel is to ensure the guest has a pleasant stay and wants to return and recommend hotel to their friends. Well, you might, but the staff at this hotel doesnt. In particular I had to argue with Sveta and Regus for 30 minutes about the definition of 2 adults as my reservation said. They insisted that my reservation was "single use", whatever that means. They demanded that I pay additional for room or not be able to stay. Bottom line, be prepared to argue with these people because nobody ever explained to them that they are in the hospitality business and their job is to make their guests happy. On second thought, it just might be easier to pick a different hotel.

Review 15:Will elevate to 5 stars when a proper porter/concierge service is introduced When I arrive I like to be welcomed/assisted with baggage/see plenty of smiling faces.I don't want to have to unload my car myself and carry my own bags.

Review 16:Tremendous location Visually very attractive building Visited a number of times, really enjoy staying there

Review 17:the lifts one not working the other two very slow room only made up on our 3rd dayvery late after i complained

Review 18:the comfort and the rooms. for this price you would pay for a 2 star in eilat

Review 19:the room had a lovely small kitchenette. A few plates & cutlery would have been a simple, nice addition. I bought food to enjoy on my beautiful large balcony, overlooking the ocean but the drawers were empty of things to use :(

Review 20:very nice place, but a bit far from any shopping. For view of ocean and beautiful surroundings, and lovely walks this place is great.

Review 21:At the price I payed for my stay I feel if I had my children come visit me and want to go to the pool there shouldn't be a problem Going for breakfast with my kids was like stealing....I took the hotel alone however I read, one breakfast and if someone chose to accompany me they would get a discount but would have to pay there own meal which wasn't a problem for me however twice my kids came to visit me and twice they were spoken to rudely as though they where going to steal breakfast (unacceptable) And last but not least I was in a rush to go to the airport 4am so I told the front I'd be checking out ...within the hour my daughter called to let them know that I had left my medication and clothes in the hotel room and I'd be coming to pick it up hence to cancel the check out at 4am and to leave it till the actual check out but by the time she got back from the airport the room was already packed and it took them over an hour before they could find the medication that they probably threw out

Review 22:the view from my balcony

Review 23:I was travelling with my brother so this suite was perfect for us. It had 2 full baths, a kitchen, a bedroom with a door and a comfortable couch that was a fine bed. The view was magnificent with a big porch to enjoy it from.

Review 24:i would of loved the gym to be open at all hours.

Review 25:I had a wonderful stay at the island hotel, the view from the 20th floor was breath taking, the staff were extremely helpful and the cleanliness was also very good, the service at the swimming pool was amazing luxurious showers and dressing rooms. I would recommend this to everyone and looking forward to another stay in the hotel!!!

Review 26:For an exclusive appart/hotel, the cleanliness and overall attention to detail was dreadful. Communal marble flooring dirty and unpolished, mirrors, windows, grubby curtains, the whole place looked unloved. The breakfast serving counter frontages were filthy. Although a non smoking hotel, my room smelt of smoke. Bathroom needed an overhaul. White sofa was grubby. Hardly anything in kitchen. Bring your own. All very basic for a 5 star luxury hotel.

Review 27:The double doors onto the huge balcony and the shower/ tap water flow.

Review 28:Poor breakfast - food was not fresh, disappointing and most likely bad for the stomach as me and my wife felt really bad after breakfast...on top of that, the staff didn't care so much about it. Service of the hotel was a shame. The towels are full of stains. We got the room dirty. Dust was on every corner of the room. Wi-Fi didn't work. The blanket on the bed, looked as if it had "love stains" on it. To make a long story short, if you want a good view, just pay 100 NIS and climb with an elevator to the 50th floor of Azrielli building in Tel Aviv. We feel like we've wasted a lot of money for basically just view, because besides that, all our experience at the hotel, was awful. We also spoke with "the manager", Ami, but she didn't really seem like she cares so much for that...

Review 29:The view.

Review 30:The bathroom could have been cleaner. The sofa bed should have been made-up and when we asked for it to be done was very slap-dash and room left untidy. Breakfast very poor and dinning room dirty.

Review 31:Lovely room and kitchen Nice bathrooms Great view and balcony Good gym

Review 32:Lack of restaurant service, no room service, the swimming pool was freezing cold, beach access poor, The hotel location is too isolated. All the restaurants in the promenade were closed except for one bistro. Poor access to promenade. The cleaning person did not replace coffee in room (|Nescafe).

Review 33:I liked the view from the balcony, the suite of rooms. Good elevator service. The staff was friendly and helpful. Each room had a TV.

Review 34:It's a 30 story building I requested a middle floor and I got the 7th floor when I checked in I was gold if can not be changed to a middle floor, it's a modern style hotel but the metal legs of the bed had rust on it, the white couches was more brown than white, in middle of the night when I put on the light I found insects crowling on floor, 1 night when I got back to the hotel @ 11:30 pm my room was not cleaned beds ware not made all they can tell me is we are sorry no other rooms available we will notify the manager in the morning and he gave me $100.00 credit

Review 35:Location, kosher food, mashgiach, balcony, sea view

Review 36:The quality of the services is very bad. The price is too high for the services we get. The quality of the towels, of the covers of the pillows, of the furnitures is very very poor as a 2 stars hotels and you pay for a 5 stars hotels.

Review 37:The location is excellent. The view is very good.

Review 38:Didn't like that there was no room service and that there wasn't the basic food and drink by the pool. The store that next to the hotel is very expensive.

Review 39:It was a very nice hotel, the views were breath taking from one of the top floors. The suit we had was lovely and clean and staff was very nice.

Review 40:Very minor problems-- towels a little harsh & would have preferred larger, bath sheet size, sheet/quilt on bed did not quite fit width, large sliding doors on wardrobe came off x3 in a week, once after 11pm when maintenance men had gone home & we had to wait until morning for it to be fixed. However generally really liked the Island Suites and would recommend it.

Review 41:Modern, clean, luxurious property ; every suite had a huge balcony overlooking the sea.Good size pool. Staff at front desk very helpful.

Review 42:No crockery or cutlery in the kitchenette.

Review 43:Very comfortable, quiet and spacious suite, with really special sea views.

Review 44:Beautiful view and a large porch. Was really clean and nice and bigger then I expected.

Review 45:there were many roaches in our room. we had to move rooms.

Review 46:the view was beautiful

Review 47:Don't bother with breakfast here. Very mediocre $25. buffet per person.

Review 48:Nice balcony, although some seating on it would have been nice!!

Review 49:Our first room had only limited access to wife. We moved rooms.

Review 50:Brilliant service from breakfast staff.

Review 51:The service was not up to participate at all.

Review 52:Location was beautiful

Review 53:No equipment to prepare food in the room's kitchen; unreliable staff, hopes breakfast room.

Review 54:Room with sea view

Review 55:The room was not cleaned each day The area for breakfast

Review 56:Location Apartment with big balcony and two bathrooms

Review 57:The furniture was very old and stained in the living roo would not sit on it

Review 58:too overpriced for what it is

Review 59:The room was huge

Review 60:Asked for dinner they could not help us

Review 61:View from balcony

Review 62:Needs new furniture in living room.

Review 63:Loved the view.

Review 64:Dirty room, dirty towels, awful breakfast

Review 65:Breakfast is very bad, plates are dirty Food looks not fresh

Review 66:Staff is very friendly

Review 67:the view with balkaney and big nice room

Review 68:Could do with air-conditioned lifts

Review 69:Service was great, rooms are very nice and spacious, location very quiet and peaceful

Review 70:We thought for a 5 star hotel they would provide basics such as water, tooth brush etc.

Review 71:The room was beautiful, view magnificent.

Review 72:Bed was soft 40 minute walk into centre of town

Review 73:The views fantastic

Review 74:No beach access.

Review 75:Rooms very modern and clean. All rooms have exclusive view of ocean. You feel like you are on a desert island. Staff is helpful.

Review 76:don't loose your money they don't smile they are very unpleasant

Review 77:la beaute , l hotel en lui meme The seaview and the hotel

Review 78:Poor cleanliness in common areas and lifts. Dead birds and detritus in lift and sea-view windows

Review 79:The suites themselves

Review 80:Cleanliness Customer service

Review 81:Room balcony views kitchenette with fridge freezer location

Review 82:the metal table with sharp edges in the living room

Review 83:everything

Review 84:you hear the waves come in from the sea all night long, love it.

Review 85:no restaurants.

Review 86:Rooms are well equipped. view is fantastic.

Review 87:Nothing

Review 88:Everything

Review 89:rooms slightly shabby , shame for a new hotel , Israeli breakfast was poor. orange juice was concentrate, bread was stale daily .service was poor. house keeping was a battle !

Review 90:- Staff at the reception was not friendly - Quality of breakfast inferior to other hotels in the area (i.e. Ramada Inn) - Pool facilities inferior to other hotels in the area (i.e. Ramada Inn) - Too pricey for the value

Review 91:- Location close to the sea

Review 92:Although I paid by cash at the check out, my credit card was still credited and now almost 3000 USD blocked for 60 days untill bank will clarify why money were charged.

Review 93:The facilities like the freezing cold pools and cleanliness were terrible, I had 6 kids with me for 8 day stay at the hotel (booked 2 suites) and not once could they go in the water it was so cold, and the kiddy pool had a tarp over it to protect from the sun I asked managers to remove it so that water warms up a bit and they scoffed at me and told me it's too much work. the staff isn't friendly or jovial, they dont accomodate u much, They seem all depressed and miserable to have to serve the "spoiled tourists". Rooms are filthy, they don't clean well, there is grime dust and filth all over the windows and bathrooms. I even saw a cockroach. I would never return again.

Review 94:The views and the location was very good.

Review 95:rooms not dusted and bathrooms not always cleaned properly; towels well worn and thin;

Review 96:spacious, bright suite with good sized balcony. breakfast more than adequate;

Review 97:the receptionist was trying to fight with me about the number of people on the booking. she said the booking was only one person (for a two bedroom suite !!??) she made me pay extra for my husband!! i had the worse sleep of my life, the beds were so uncomfortable and the blankets were sooooo thin!! the couch in the living room was filthy, it was supposed to be white, it looked more brownish. also, the hotel advertises a kids play room, when we got there they told us it is only open on friday nights and saturdays :( . the hotel was not the strong point of our vacation....

Review 98:the view was stunning. we had a lot of room (me my hubby and baby) we had a two bedroom suite. the porch was huge and was right on the water.

Review 99:our room ran out of hot water after just one bath and it took the staff a while to give us a different room to shower in, the whole thing was a big headache we are still waiting for the management to get in touch with us regarding what they can compensate us with but otherwise it was a beautiful place and perfect location

Review 100:We were disappointed in the breakfast. It was a Saturday morning, and the food didn't taste very fresh. For such a luxurious hotel, we expected a lot more from the breakfast.

Review 101:We absolutely loved our room! We had an amazing view of the beach. The balcony was huge, the room was very spacious and luxurious, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the sea. Everything was in good taste. The room also came with a fridge, kitchen table, microwave, and even a stove!

Review 102:A terrible stinking smell comes from the utility room which is situated across room 1204.

Review 103:I stayed 20 nights, that says it all. The accommodation, the breakfast and the view are first class.

Review 104:the food could be better, for example, the herring was not fresh on the second day of our stay

Review 105:micro and fridge in the room view the staff reacted quickly to meet our requests (we asked for extra blankets and also to repair lamps in the bedroom)

Review 106:No proper lobby. Lifts can take ages at times. Staff should be trained in courtesy. Westeners expect it and get insulted when its lacking.

Review 107:Spacious and airy rooms 2 Bathroms High quality decor and fittings Good breakfast Huge balcony with dining set and loungers French windows from bedroom and living room to balcony. Good, secure underground parking. Efficient staff.

Review 108:the hotel had beautiful facilities. The pool area was very nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a stunning view and was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 109:No complaints - it was great!

Review 110:Amazing rooms Very helpful front desk Great room cleaning every day Lovely pool Amazing views Good location in an emerging area

Review 111:The breakfast room in the basement...in spite of great food the placedoes not match with the rest of this magnificent hotel

Review 112:One of the best we had during our trip to Israel...we got a suite fitfor a king with all the most uptodate goodies...the hotel is brand newwe were on the 26th floor with the most breathtaking view. We could havestayed another 3 days if it wasn't for the schedule squeeze

Review 113:- the worst and most disappointing room service. The room service in Island hotel is worst of all. Even any 1-2* European hotel is better - the hotel is far than 10 minutes walk from beach

Review 114:+ good facilities + good staff + exceptional sea view

Review 115:breakfast was poor, particularly when served in the underground room when the hotel was busy. Lousy internet access and mean with towels in the bathroom

Review 116:the suite was comfortable and the balcony terrific

Review 117:Though we had asked and had confirmed a wheelchair facility room, onchecking in we were told this was not so, but, it was sorted out and theroom was fine.

Review 118:The helpfulness and promptness in bringing the luggage, parking, extratowels, explaining the air-conditioning, in helping our stay be relaxed.

Review 119:The towels in the bathroom were stained with greyish color. The roomswere a little dirty. We called down to the front desk twice - on twoseparate days - for a taxi. Neither time was a taxi ordered despite therequest. The service at the front desk is not the most professional.

Review 120:Excellent spacious room. We had a duplex on the 26th floor and it wasfantastic. Simply enormous in size, with two bathrooms and a view of theNetanya Beach that was simply amazing. The tv in the suite waswonderful, the balcony was wonderful and the kitchen area with fullrefridgerator was wonderful. There is a safe in the room, and the bedwas incredibly comfortable. The showers were also excellent.

Review 121:The sea is near but the beaches are some 10-15 minutes walk off the hotel. (My recommendation - choose Sironit beach). There was no hairdryer in the suite. It was brought only upon request. The oven was not functioning in the kitchenette. It was fixed upon request. We had little kids thus we needed to cook occassionally. The hotel doesn't provide kitchenware - like saucepan, pots, etc. Though they did provide disposal plates, knives, forks, etc. upon request. The pool is outside and isn't heated. We stayed in the beginning of May, so the temperature of the water in the pool was roughly 21 Celcius and we never experienced the pool. The hotel provides only breakfasts. No half-boards. There are a few fast-food type places nearby but sometimes you need better for kids.

Review 122:They offer free tour to Tel-Aviv though we have not used this opportunity. They offer free bikes (2 hours per day but never said a word while we exceeded that time limit). They do have some bikes with kid's chairs. That's important as the nearest beaches are 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. They have Russian-speaking people on staff. From the 21st floor - the view of the sea and the city was marvellous.

Review 123:everything was amazing, the most bautiful suites i've ever seen, panaromic view of the sea. the brekfast was something special, the staff were very helpful.

Review 124:- Absolutely no kitchenware - Chairs on the terrace were locked to the table for some reason - No access to the beach from the hotel, you need to walk about 15 minutes

Review 125:- Sea view and terrace is amazing - Breakfast is good

Review 126:There was nothing we did not like and we have no criticisms or complaints.

Review 127:We liked everything. Hotel facility was excellent, including the gym. Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Good parking with excellent location. Service was great. Breakfast which was included in our rate was extremely good.

Review 128:nothing is not to like everything is great and amazing

Review 129:really amazing clean and new hotel i would recommend it to everyone over any hotels and hotel is better then tel aviv hotels and stuff is amazing thank you very much

Review 130:bedroom too small with nowhere nearly enough wardrobe and cupboard space----some tiles coming off wall---finish of build is a poor standard--public and dining areas are poorly equipped and decorated--downsstairs dining room on saturday is very depressing

Review 131:new,good breakfast--difficult to assess as out of season---master bathroom superb

Review 132:No lunch or dinner or room service for food only Friday night dinner. Need better service by staff and definitely more catering

Review 133:Location was good. Rooms were nice

Review 134:The Kashrus the Mashgiach thats on site and makes sure that all is to high standerd of kashrus
