Reviews for Albergo Ponte Vecchio
Review 1:Northern Italy and the Como Lake are beautiful. This small family hotel and restaurant is very comfortable, affordable and with a welcoming athmosphere (and they serve marvelous pizzas).
Review 2:We arrived at the hotel a day earlier than expected and they could not have been more accommodating. The Manager went above and beyond to find additional space and to ensure we had a confortable stay. The pizza in the hotel restaurant is excellent and worth a try. Although it is a 15 minute walk to the lake it isnt a chore as it gives you an opportunity to enjoy another side of Como.
Review 3:The breakfast was not something I enjoyed. Perhaps they could cater for tourists too as I did not like the Continental breakfast and would have preferred something healthier
Review 4:Staff were very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome
Review 5:Parking a little cramped but available.
Review 6:The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Only a short walk, 10 mins, to lake Como. Excellent breakfast.

Review 16:it was full of local color, people, and ambience. Easy walk into city center.
Review 17:A 10 minute walk to Lake Como, easily accessible from the motorway.
Review 18:Room was chilly. Shame about the outlook - a flyover and a builders merchant.
Review 19:Nice people, breakfast was simple but OK
Review 20:No lift after 22.00
Review 21:Family run. Good food. Good loaction.
Review 22:Nothing
Review 23:Friendly staff, location, good value food and drink.
Review 24:The situation of the 'albergo', in the middle of crossroads.
Review 25:The environment, villages to visit and enjoy along the lake.
Review 26:Parking is tight but accesible. The hotel is in a good location, but it is near a roadway. Our view was of a construction supply business, but some big beautiful pine trees obliterate it. Also, WiFi only really worked in the reception area.
Review 27:Friendly family-run hotel. Restaurant is excellent. Rooms are newly-renovated with balconies.
Review 28:Cobwebs in room, thin blanket, car noise from nearby streets.
Review 29:The staff was helpful when we needed things, and very friendly even when we didn't know any Italian. Dinner was very good - the best we had in the area and the least expensive.
Review 30:Not worth mentioning
Review 31:We came to stay one day and stayed two, it was located near the lake(Como), the staff was nice and friendly the food was good the roomwas nice they had free bicycles we took for a ride. All in all it wasvery relaxing
Review 32:Don't expect a beautiful views, as our room was facing the road near by, but it didn't matter at all. :)
Review 33:My boyfriend and me just came back from the hotel and we loved it. Nice big room with gorgeous bathroom with separate balcony and good facilities was our first impression, but then you get to meet the owners and you can't stop smiling, as they might not speak good English, but they are extremely nice and positive, ready to help and assist you in any way they can. There is breakfast included and although the choice is not as big but you have more than enough to start your day. And the lady in the kitchen/restaurant would come and start our day with the cheerful BONJORNO and a question if you'd like a coffee or the amazing cappuccino she was preparing for me daily. Would definitely recommend the hotel and will visit them again soon. :)
Review 34:Hotel was local and friendly and the cafe frequented by locals. 10 min walk to centre of town and harbour/ferry area
