Reviews for Toby Inlet Bed & Breakfast

Review 1:The hosts were very warm and helpful. They gave us plenty of information about the area and reccomended some great places to visit. The place was quiet even though it was close to the main road. The English breakfast was simply awesome!

Review 2:Nothing

Review 3:The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the whole Margaret River area. We made use of their BBQ area and were provided with all the necessary tools and plates ect. and had a lovely evening BBQ. We took Henritta's advise of where to go and what to see and had a great time exploring the area. We visited and saw great places that we wouldn't have seen without her advice, down to where to go and see Kangaroos in the wild at dusk. All in all a lovely place to stay whilst visiting the Margaret River Arwa. A very pleasant stay.

Review 4:Nothing, facilities were of a standard I'd expect for a B&B - homely, not overly intrusive and comfortable vibe

Review 5:Check in was easy with a welcome call from Operators in the morning of checkin to double check our ETA. Then went on to explain their very easy instructions incase for some reason they were not onsite when we arrived. Great service

Review 6:Nothing everything was great

Review 7:Everything was absolutely fantastic me and Jacob loved our stay with John and Henrietta ... Keep up the great work guys we WILL BE BACK

Review 8:The location and the friendliness of the owner who goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The breakfast was included in the price and you could have both a cooked breakfast or continental if you wished which is most unusual.

Review 9:Just thought the whole set up was a little ordinary for the price and that the owners, while friendly enough, had possibly lost their passion for being hosts and accommodating the needs of guests who have come looking for something special.

Review 10:We liked the garden setting and the spa bath in our room.

Review 11:Towels should be changed daily. Trying to dry them was difficult. This was mentioned on checkout.

Review 12:Comfort, friendliness of hosts and breakfast. Showers were fantastic.

Review 13:We were made to feel like we were being difficult for asking to put the jacuzzi on, when it was the only reason we booked this specific accomodation. This was obviously expressed to other patrons and we were ridiculed over breakfast.

Review 14:Loved the spa Bath and Henrietta was lovely and cooked an amazing breakfast.

Review 15:Our room was on the front of the property on very busy road noise was shocking the balcony face to rubbish bins not a good look

Review 16:Very clean rooms breakie good

Review 17:Breakfast was poor. Henrietta was sulu as she took the order and did nothing to make you feel welcome-. Quality if food used in the cooked breakfast was disappointing.

Review 18:Warm welcome from the owner.room was very good- bed was very comfortable.

Review 19:Delicious breakfast and helpful, pleasant hosts. They offered advice on places to visit and overall were very welcoming into their home. Would recommend to anyone going to that location.

Review 20:The facility needs some TLC and cleanliness needs to be improved. It was over-priced for the standard provided. Breakfast was fine, but the same CD background music played every morning became very tedious!

Review 21:The staff were not friendly at all. The spa was broken ,the bins in room not emptied for 3?days. Breakfast was not before 8am , not ideal if you had to be up to go off to work. I would never stay there again or recommend this. It is no where near any store, restaurant ,$30 taxi ride to Broadwater restaurant. These people either are new or do not care about service.

Review 22:unkempt look outside; dusty shelves next to bed; awkward inward-opening door to ensuite; two DVD's didn't work well; manner of staff a touch overbearing; seemed over pricey for what it was

Review 23:owners were able to alter my booking

Review 24:We stayed one night and had no power and no hot water; apparently a fuse had blown. Apparently it happens regularly so should be dealt with! This was the final straw in what was an overpriced stay in a very ordinary accommodation. Never again!

Review 25:The bed was comfortable and the outlook to the garden was pleasant.

Review 26:outside areas a little unkempt.junk on verandahs messy entrance statement

Review 27:Guest lounge excellent .wildlife cute and interesting bandicoots and black skinks just outside of breakfast area

Review 28:Good choice of food for breakfast at a lovely verandah, friendy hosts who gave us priceless advice on what to see and where to go in case it rains, good location of property

Review 47:Very comfortable and well thought out.

Review 48:Traffic noise from Caves rd.

Review 49:John, the owner, was a wealth of local knowledge.

Review 50:Noise from busy room. Clutter on front verandahs didn't make a good first impression

Review 51:Good breakfast, great to see bandicoots hopping around while eating

Review 52:We were in a room near busy road so was a bit noisy.

Review 53:Location was great not far to Dunsborough or Busselton. Breakfast was very good. Owners helpful and they had good knowledge of the area.

Review 54:It was a little further out of town than we expected it to be, so driving was a necessity.

Review 55:The facilities are more than you would expect for a B&B (eg.spa room) Huge bed and very comfortable.

Review 56:We were travelling from Perth to Margaret River and at the last minute were able to one night's accommodation at Toby's Inlet - our time ever stay at a B&B. The lodging and it's location turned out to be such a blessing - wonderful & serene midway rest stop between Perth and Margaret River. Upon check out the following morning, we were able to explore the nearby Yallingup area before proceeding to Margaret River. Lodging-wise, our room was very comfortable and the extra-large double sufficient for accommodating our family of 4. The en suite was also spotless and brightly lit - definitely better than most hotels. Breakfast was yummy and filling. The resident bandicoots enjoying breakfast in the garden was a wonderful sight that kept the children entertained. Our children also enjoyed playing in the garden with the owners' son. The owners, Henrietta and John are very hospitable and helpful, offering us various suggestions on which attractions would be suitable for our preschoolers. During the evening, John even told us what time "Nemo" was showing on TV. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only regret that we had only one night to spend at this gem of a B&B.

Review 57:It was not what I expected for the money. Breakfast was too late and we were not allowed to go in before 8am. We were told not to come in till after 8am. Not impressed.

Review 58:We like to walk along the beach in the morning and we had to drive to a place to do this.

Review 59:The rooms were private and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful.

Review 60:Friendly staff and the breakfast was excellent (didn't need any lunch). The bedrooms and ensuite where comfortable and would certainly recommend the place to other travellers.

Review 61:Some road noise, continental breakfast items were very basic and consisted of basic supermarket fare

Review 62:Friendly hosts, very helpful local knowledge, nice location Good cooked breakfast

Review 63:Location Staff were very friendly and accommodating

Review 64:Very helpful owners and communicative.

Review 65:Nothing in particular. Would certainly return.

Review 66:Excellent location. Lots of wildlife to watch whilst having breakfast.

Review 67:The accommodation was fine and the breakfast was excellent

Review 69:Really good value for money. It was basic, clean and in a good location. Close to Margaret River, Dunsborough and beautiful beaches.
