Review 1：the hotel is far from the center so if you do not have a car you have to call taxi every time you want to stay late. the staff is very friendly but they do not speak English. the room is very small and they do not have hairdryer. breakfast is very basic.

Review 5：We were told that there were no 4 beds bedroon. When we arrived they brought us to a 4 beds bedroom but still wanted us to stay with 2 separated bedrooms quite distant from each other. When we checked out they charged us 2bedroons. Besides that. At 7 AM the church bell starts and goes on for about 30 mins. It feels like the bells are inside the bedroom ... That's why it is called Della Torre ...

Review 9：Not good being above a busy restaurant. The external private bathroom shares the same hot water server as the kitchen, so you freeze and scold yourself in the shower.

Review 11：We had holes in the room's door. We could hear everything from the hallway and also people were able to see inside the room through the holes. We were not able to seat where we wanted during breakfast. The good places (from where you can see the Como lake were only for the restaurant's customers, not for the "hotel's" one. Breakfast is a joke: one bagel and some nutella, jam and butter (tea and coffee too). Maybe everything could be oberlooked, but the door issue is unbelievable.

Review 18：It was very difficult to find the hotel, even with the GPS (the streets are on top of each other or they look completely different from the most updated map we had): it would be nice to have some more detailed instructions or more visible signs how to reach there. However, once you make it there, all is lovely: nice people, lovely place to relax and watch the lake and mountains from above.

We understood this, but it would have been a nice touch if the hotel had suggested e.g. a small discount on the room rate, or had offered to leave a snack out for us. - The restaurant is busy and popular till fairly late (e.g. 11pm); this wasn't a problem for us, but it's worth being aware that there could be noise. - Doors to rooms and private external bathrooms open/close noisily.
Review 40：Fantastic views across Lake Como from the hotel terrace/restaurant; and decent value for money given that this area is a tourist hotspot. The rooms aren't modern, but they are fairly spacious and suit well for a short stay/ stopover. The restaurant does good pizzas. Not far off the motorway, so it makes a very good stopover when travelling between Switzerland and Italy (1.5 hours to St Gotthard tunnel at e.g. 5.00am).
